Valmiki is celebrated as the harbinger-poet in Sanskrit literature . The epic Ramayana , dated variously from 5th century BCE to first century BCE , is attributed to him , based on the attribution in the text itself . He is revered as Ādi Kavi , the first poet , author of Ramayana, the first epic poem .He is born in India . His full nane is Ratnakkardah . Father Charshani , and mother Sumali . History of Valmiki : Before he was a thief and he used to attack everyone who are going across the forest he ised to take all their money , gold etc by this he used to feed his family members . But one day he saw the seven divine sages also known as saptarishis and decided to loot them . He took out his dagger and ordered them to give away their valuables . Valmiki rushed to his house and asked his family members the same question but to his surprise none rose in his favour . Everyone said that he is a criminal and will be punished by God for his sins . With a broken heart he returned to the seven divine sages and fell down on his knees . He asked them to curse him for all the sins that he had committed but instead of punishing him , the sages told him to chant "RAM" repeatedly . Instead of chanting “RAM”, Valmiki chanted its opposite "MARA" which in Hindi means death and that is when he was blessed by the almighty and thus became enlightened .This story was narrated by Rishi Valmiki himself to Lord Rama .One of the saptrishi asked him "Those for whom you commit such a ghastly sin, do they accompany you in it. Ask them. If yes, then we will give away all our valuables."Finally he realized and then he started Ramayana .

Ramayana , originally written by Valmiki , consists of 24,000 shlokas and 7 cantos (kaṇḍas) including Uttara Kanda . Ramayana is composed of about 480,002 words , being a quarter of the length of the full text of the Mahabharata or about four times the length of the Iliad . The Ramayana tells the story of a prince, Rama of the city of Ayodhya in the Kingdom of Kosala , whose wife Sita is abducted by Ravana, the demon-king (Rakshasa) of Lanka . The Valmiki Ramayana is dated variously from 500 BCE to 100 BCE or about co-eval with early versions of the Mahabharata . As with many traditional epics, it has gone through a process of interpolations and redactions, making it impossible to date accurately .British satirist Aubrey Menen says that Valmiki was , "recognized as a literary genius ," and thus was considered , "an outlaw," presumably because of his , "philosophic scepticism ," as part of an "Indian Enlightenment" period . Valmiki is also quoted to be the contemporary of Rama. Menen claims Valmiki is , "the first author in all history to bring himself into his own composition ."Rama met Valmiki during his period of exile and interacted with him . Valmiki gave shelter to Sita in his hermitage when Rama banished her . Kusha and Lava, the twin sons of Shri Rama were born to Sita in this hermitage . Valmiki taught Ramayana to Kusha and Lava , who later sang the divine story in Ayodhya during the Ashwamedha yajna congregation , to the pleasure of the audience , whereupon , King Rama questioned who they were and later visited Valmiki's hermitage to confirm if Sita , the two children claimed as their mother was in fact his wife in exile . Later , he summoned them to his royal palace . Kusha and Lava sang the story of Rama there and Rama confirmed that whatever had been sung by these two children was entirely true .

txt
rich_1583053892758

Early life : Valmiki was born as Agni Sharma to a Brahmin named Pracheta (also known as Sumali) of Bhrigu gotra , According to legend he once met the great sage Narada and had a discourse with him on his duties. Moved by Narada's words, Agni Sharma began to perform penance and chanted the word "Mara" which meant "kill". As he performed his penance for several years , the word became "Rama", the name of Lord Vishnu . Huge anthills formed around Agni Sharma and this earned him the name of Valmiki . Suddenly , hit by an arrow , the male bird died on the spot. Filled by sorrow , its mate screamed in agony and died of shock . Valmiki's heart melted at this pitiful sight . The genre Rap has always been perceived as a protest music, against the oppressors of any type, the fact that Telugu and Hindi rap is getting popular is akin to an underdog rising against all odds. Of late, there have been several upcoming rap artists in regional languages and it is a good sign that the music scene of our country is becoming diversified.

They say talent often manifests itself when the person is young and it is true in the case of Mahadeva Sastry aka Maahaa, who is a 24-year-old rapper based out of Hyderabad, who is now joining the budding rappers who are bringing up the art form in Indian music. About his beginnings, he says, "My first introduction to rap and hip hop was in 9th standard, and I remember it having a tremendous hold over me. I would try and sing the lyrics and copy the beat of the song to make it sound as authentic as possible. I started writing my own stuff when I was in 11th!"

While pursuing his engineering in SRM Chennai, he got his first opportunity to explore his form of music, as he explains, "It wasn't until engineering that I got my first opportunity. I used to rap occasionally before being asked to perform for fests and such, and that was the catapult pushing me towards a career in rap."

Over the past few years, Maahaa has come out with tracks in Telugu, Hindi and English that capture the essence of a local lad in addition to capturing the essence of Hyderabad, like in his recent track Hyderabadi Power, which he released just last week. In this track, he talks about how there's a lot more to Hyderabad than just biryani. "Whenever someone says Hyderabad or thinks about Hyderabad, the first thing people think of is Biryani but I wanted to talk about a lot of things that are there in this city that is why when we made the video, we shot at all sorts of places, capturing images like the rustic charm of Charminar to Golconda to the hustle of night life in posh areas of the city to the modernistic Gachibowli and Hitech City area. I wanted this video to connect to people, like I usually do and I believe there's something in the video for every Hyderabadi," says the rapper whose videos on YouTube have a collective view count of more than 2 lakhs.

Another interesting aspect of Maahaa's music is that he is as multilingual as a budding rapper can get. "I grew up in many cities and as a result, I speak multiple languages and that is why I want to make my music in various languages. I want to connect to a broader range of audiences and that is why my tracks also have a couple of languages in them at least. For instance, my latest track has English and Hyderabadi lingo in it," says Maahaa, who is now planning on a series of music videos talking about following one's passion and the struggle behind it.

Every child wants to listen to a bed-time story.A story teaches morals of life, stories of individuals that one can look up to in the life. From Puppet dance to Movies,All are part of art of story telling.

Now-a-days,We see that,Movies are only art of story telling that youth get attracted to.Each and every movie may got inspiration from either Real life or from fascinations. But,Each movie has got a thing, one can connect to in their life. One of us may have inspired from Chiranjeevi's dance moves and wants to become a dancer,Inspired from movie Leader to become real life leader.

When we look at other side of the coin,Teenagers want to imitate the fashion statement,Behaviour of actors in their real life without even giving thought about their financial status, circumstances around them.

Taking good things and leaving back bad ones apts well for movies.Because, being playboy is not a real man thing neither drinking Alcohol until one becomes drunkard,to forget pain nor Speeding to get Adrenaline rush.

So,One must think wisely before behaving like a character.Think twice before you take inspiration from a character.
"}]

According to most prevalent legend of Maha Shivaratri, during the great mythical churning of the ocean- Samudra Manthan conducted by the gods and demons for obtaining nectar to make them immortal, first a pot of poison emerged. The poison was so potent that nobody was ready to even touch it as it had the power to burn up the whole world.

It was decided that the only one who would help them get rid of this poison was lord shiva. So they all went to him for help, and shiva promptly agreed to consume the poison. However, the poison was so deadly that even if a drop had entered lord Shiva's stomach (his stomach represents the universe), it would have annihilated the whole world.

Shiva carefully held the poison in his throat which turned blue due to the effect of the poison, and so he came to known as Neelkanth. Maha Shivaratri is celebrated as a day of gratitude to lord shiva for protecting the world from this deadly poison.

At Maha Shivaratri, many people observe a fast on this day. At the evening they consume fruits. Many devotees stay up all night, while some others visit shiv temples. Kashi Vishwanath temple gets congregated by the young and old devotees from the very early morning. They come to the temple to perform the puja of traditional Shivalingam and hope to get what they have prayed to the god. They take bath in the holy water of the Ganga (symbol of the purity) early in the morning before sunrise and wear a clean clothes after the sacred bath.

Every worshiper brings a pot full of holy Ganga water to the temple to offer the Shivalingam and pour water on the Shivalingam. Some also pour cow milk on the Shivalingam. Worshipers also apply three horizontal lines of holy ash on their forehead just like the lord shiva which represent spiritual knowledge, cleanliness and penance. They wear garland made up of Rudraksha (seeds of Rudraksha tree) while worshiping the lord shiva. It is believed that Rudraksha tree was originated from tears of lord shiva.

Shivaratri is also considered as the wedding day of the Lord Shiva and Mata Parvati.

College life is known as one of the most memorable years of one's life. It is entirely different from school life. College life exposes us to new experiences and things that we were not familiar with earlier. For some people, college life means enjoying life to the fullest. While for others, it is time to get serious about their career.

College life experience is truly one of a kind. The most common memories people have of college life are definitely goofing around with friends. They remember how the group of friends walked around the college in style and playing silly pranks on each others.

Moreover, people always look back at the times spent in the college canteen. It was considered the hub of every student where they enjoyed eating and chatting away with their friends.

Another college life experience I have seen people cherish the most in the annual fest. The annual fest created so much excitement and buzz amongst the students.

I still remember my first day of college. I was so excited in meeting new people. It was a bit difficult at first time to be with people I never knew. I dint know how I should behave just to fit in. But eventually, everything went smoothly. I met wonderful friends whom are still my best buddies even till now.

I believe, college is a training ground on how to be successful and become good people. College life is a master blend of happiness, enjoyment grater sense of responsibility and hardwork. We attend lectures, work in labs, take tution and prepare for tests. During a class, a teacher keeps us busy in the lesson but he has the tricks of creating some humor. He does so to relieve us of stress and pressure.

College education is an investment very worth it, a college degree will open many and many doors and it will offer so many opportunities to achieve your financial success.

What is Social Interest?

The ability to use the internet to connect with new people, expressing yourself and finding interesting ideas and information.

Social interest was the main foundation of every social media app, which is so powerful. But the problem came when social media was looked like an industry. Every CEO was pushed to make 100x in revenue to survive, to IPOs and attract investors as there were ventures backing them all along. They started to reengineer 7 or 8 years ago to change the experience and make people stay on them more. This made the invention of like button, tags, favorites, etc., which change everything for the people from “I posted my friend posted this” to “I opened and there are people waiting for social approval”.

This made all SM companies started to study users as Data factories to show us things we prefer to see to make us stare more on the screen so that they can produce revenue. By using the research came from the casinos gambling of Las Vegas called slot machine analogy to reengineer the social media apps to make us stay more on the apps. Like button was used for this purpose though data vectors.

3 things seem to be happening due to this:

• By doing the liking, tagging and scrolling all day will keep us away from higher-quality pursuits where we can use the free time to improving ourselves and make us better.

• We suppress our drive to be social (go out and meet, interacting with people invest time which is called social snacking) and replace it with liking and tagging because it’s easy. Our brain doesn’t recognize this as actual real-life interactions where we put time and attention for strength or connection. That’s why we see an increase in studies were increased social media use correlates with an increase in loneliness and depression.

• We need solitude. we to need, on a regular basis, time alone with our thoughts not only just processing inputs of other people. If we get rid of every time of the moments of solitude by scrolling while you’re bored, which not good for the brain, and one of the side effects is anxiety. That’s why most people deal with low-grade anxiety that everyone is taking for granted.

Anxiety is the brain yelling, “I need some time with myself and be away from inputs because I can’t always process inputs from other minds. I need to look things around me and think” and you need to do this every day. But we tend to do this to get away from discomfort. But interestingly, to do things important for the flourish of humans are tend with some discomfort.

As we evolution what was the solution for doing this thinking and processing things around us was to get was these drives. But Part of the problem with modern technology is it short-circuited these drives. We have the drive of sociality being out there, putting in time and efforts and make connects with family and friends but we short-circuited with Instagram and Facebook and drive of boredom which is the main driver for us to go out and make us do high-quality stuff that makes us feel alive but we have these distractions on mobile with short-circuited our drive which gives immediate response to boredom.

These drives should have been the thing that pushes us into discomforts which is the source of flourishment of you into a better you. That’s where we have to balance the use of the internet.

We have to understand is that when we’re bored we used to have the motivation to do new things, but we have to be careful as being aware of not feeling that boredom constantly with social media which will reduce the motivation to go out and find more things to do.
"}]
