On mobile: “Don't Run”

Viraj hung up his phone call and wiped his tears. He kept his mobile in the pocket and coat on his left hand. He slowly looked down to the ground and closed his eyes. He even looked like he’s trying to control something. He stood up still for couple of minutes and opened his eyes. Latter, he started running...

Viraj has been blessed with a power that he can overcome his fear, pain, sorrows and stress since his childhood just if he runs. He’s unaware of the gift and simply thought that it was an act of god.

He opened the door. Seeing him, his wife Riya walked angrily towards Viraj.

Riya(angrily) - Viraj, did you run again?

Viraj(breathing heavily) – What, No..

Riya - Stop lying to me Viraj. You are not a kid now. Doctor said that we’d be blessed with a baby soon. At this time, you lost your job and, did you run in order to get rid of that pain? Who'll take care of our basic needs and medical bills now?

Viraj throw his coat on sofa and said “Don’t I care about my pregnant wife?” You know how much i love you Riya. You are my world. You are everything to me. And you know that.

He sat on sofa and leaned back “i don’t know what I’ve to do then. I'm habituated to it. You didn't know how badly some children had bullied me in the childhood. I was not brave enough to hit them back. The only thing i wanted to do is to share everything with my parents. But that never happened. They used to fight in front of me every day. They never spend time with me. At that times our maid used to take care of me every day like feeding food, packing books and bags, dropping me here and there etc. No one knew that how bad I was felt during those days. I experienced everything that an 8 year old child should not have been. At that time, I realised that i had had this gift, a way to decrease my pain, my sorrows and everything if I run. Who don't want this Riya?”

Riya gently sat beside him and said “I can understand you Viraj.” You told me that I was your world. Yes Viraj, I am. You can share everything to me. The thing you were gifted in your childhood isn’t be a gift anymore. You know why I asked you to not to run on the phone call. If you can overcome this pain, you may not find a new job that much dedicatedly viraj. You should atleast have some kind of guilty for losing your job. Because that's what the humane nature is. You need to carry somethings with you until your last breath. You shouldn't let them go away from you like that. I'll try to do every tiny thing to make things perfect and you must to promise me not to run again.

Viraj hugged her and said “Okay dear.”

In the meantime, Viraj got diverged his habit of running and started attending interviews for his livelihood. But everyone rejected him. He almost tried to run every time to overcome when he got rejected. But he controlled himself not to run due to his wive’s vow. Eventually Viraj started using his bank balance for the medical bills.

He visited the hospital with his wife after the 10th day he lost his job. The couple got to know that the delivery date would be in ten more days i.e., on 28th March. Viraj and Riya are very much pleased with the good news. Like every couple in the world, Viraj wanted a little princess and Riya wanted a prince. They even fixed the name of the upcoming charm of their family. If it’s a girl, her name would be Shraddha or Rohan if it’s a boy. The couple is so blissful about their future that their world is to be out soon.

Five days later, Riya Wanted to meet her mother who was living in the neighbour city. Viraj wanted to give everything she asks and he also reminded himself that Riya’s mother was handicapped. So he thought that its not fair to ask Riya’s mother to come there and meet her daughter. So he decided to take Riya to her mother. Viraj thought of taking his friend’s car for the sake of comfort and convenience as his woman is a pregnant.

The couple started their journey very happily. Riya said the she's thirsty. The Viraj found a nearby general store to buy a water bottle. He was supposed to wait in the queue in the payment counter. Suddenly he heard a sound and felt like an aeroplane crashed beside him. So he jerked and peeked into the window and screamed his wife name continuously. The bottle got dropped from his hand and his legs began to move towards to his love as fast as he can. Uttering his wife name on a bigger tone with a tense and shivering attitude, he pushed so many people on his way. He’s trying to recollect what he had seen through the window and started praying to god, feeling that it's not true.

Several thoughts are running constantly on his mind like

“Nothing hit the car..

Nothing happened outside..

Nothing.”

And finally tears rolled out of his eyes. He wiped and came outside.

By the time he came outside, a crowd was murmuring that a lorry had hit the parked car at a high speed. But all Vijaj could only see that was his wife out of the car with her eyes closed and her hand on their future, their dream, their entire world. And all he could hear was silence and he felt like he was the only person left out on the earth.

He didn't know what to do. He knew that he had already run. He was feeling void, neither happy nor sad. He was in a situation that only watch his dead pregnant wife without any emotion. At that moment he realized what Riya had told him every time. "This wasn’t a gift anymore". "You need to carry somethings with you until your last breath". All those words were on his head. But he didn't feel anything except to watch.

Weeks passed: He was not feeling anything about her wife. All he felt was loneliness. He knew that he couldn’t change the things. So he went to his old office and came to the top floor hiding from his ex-colleagues. He was at the edge of the building. He was thinking of the phone call conversation with his wife when he started seeing down the place, the cause of everything which led to all these things. He closed his eyes and started recollecting each and every moment that he had spent with his better half. He was smiling, he even smiled when he remembered about her sudden demise. He opened his eyes suddenly realising that he was no more human. “None smiles when one reminds one’s partner’s death”, he thought.

He thought of giving himself a second chance. Not for him, for Riya. Riya always wanted to see him without his damn gift, reacting like a normal person. He wanted to live like Riya always wanted him to. He smiled slightly and turning back. But wind didn't listen to his prayers. He slipped.

“YOU SHOULD NOT ESCAPE FROM THE THINGS THAT MAKES YOU SAD. YOU MUST EXPERIENCE THEM”
"}]
What are you really afraid of? What is your biggest fear ? Maybe it could be a ghost . In some cases it could be " fear of loosing people" and there are many more countless fears like that. In fact there are many and many more which you don't even consider.

You may have this perfect life with little imperfections attached. Every time you wear a dress or every time you do your hair there's one thing that always seems to bother you. Does this dress look good on me or is the color too bright? Do I look okay in this hairstyles? So immediately you click a picture of your and send it to your friends for their opinions. This is what girls do, at least most of them do. I do too. I started to wonder- Why other people's opinion matter to us that much? Of course there is one logic that -'they can see you and you can't see yourself' . Well, hello! that's why "Mirrors" were invented.

It is not that easy as it sounds, is it? Even though we look at ourselves in the mirror and we happen to like the way we look, we still stay there and look for flaws. Maybe that explains why girls take a lot of time to get ready. But why are we doing this ? Why are we so scared to get out there with out finding faults in our own selves. It's the people, isn't it? It's because their opinions so freaking matter to us. Because we are so scared and afraid of being judged by them.

Our biggest fear is not a ghost it's the opinions of other people. People will never stop having opinions. It doesn't mean that you stop getting out.

Why do they even judge you? Maybe because they hate you and can't stand you or Probably maybe because they get intimidated by you. It's just one of their ways to put you down and make themselves feel better. They have all authority to form their own opinions and say whatever they want. You can't stop them. What really matters is how you handle it.

Are you going to let it effect you or will you let it go?

We might have the most complicated life ever but trust me , the person sitting next to you can have twice the complications that you do and you just don’t know it. Among those the one biggest complication you can possibly have in common is ” LOVE”.

Don’t tell me that you are one of those extinct kind who never heard of or been in ‘love’ because love is definitely not something you can control and it happens. After doing a lot of thinking it suddenly dawned on me that love is not a feeling like people say, it is a phase. Starting phase of love is about making good impressions, promises, and many more stuff like that. Forget it dude. Because in the end none of it matters. People eventually become selfish. We are in world where we can trust no body with our heart. Let’s not get there. It’s a topic for some other day.

After all that drama ,when the relationship ends, we will be finally getting one of those two most awaited “award tags”. And they are “The one who broke” and “The one who was broken”. There’s not so much to talk about the first one. The second one struggles his/her’s way through “The moving on” process and ends up being the happiest one. If you are the second kind you probably can relate to this.

Right after you hear the word “End” you go back and play it a million times in your head. You are just not ready to accept the fact that everything actually ended.

When you finally come back to your senses , your memory lane kicks in and plays all the memories you had with that person. And then you start remembering cliche love quotes like “Never give up on the person you love” (meaning-be prepare to loose your self respect). Not everybody is like that, of-course there are people who wouldn’t give a damn and I admire them. So after remembering those quotes , you start believing in them and you wanna prove that your love story is a epic love story. So you start convincing the person who just left you.

You try almost everything to make them stay. You spend a week or two or even more convincing, stating all the reasons why that person has stay. And guess what none of it works. You let them break you in every way possible. But you need to know that that’s the most important time of your life. That is the time when you truly start knowing the person. That very person, you loved, with every bit of your heart is a person who doesn’t value your feelings and who is more than okay with hurting you. You try to remind them about the promises they once made but they simply tell you none of it matters.

At one point you decide to move on and you try faking your happiness . Your friends comfort you but I don’t think words can change anything. You try reaching out but that will be of no help. Each passing day it becomes harder to believe that everything will stop someday. You sometime suddenly become happy and sometimes sad. You cry yourself to sleep every night. You find yourself crying for no reason.

It might take a month or more to get through this. But once you are done , you actually start analyzing things and you decide that you are not going let some unworthy person to hurt you anymore. This is when you actually start loving yourself more and start hating the person who hurt you. I guess this is the only way to get over a person.

Hate them for hurting you. Hate them for giving you sleepless nights. Hate them for making stupid promises. As far as I observed that is what happens in the end and you don’t even have to try. They suddenly become “The hate of your life”.

Maybe that is when you start knowing your worth and how much you deserve.

I would say it’s alright to hate someone because if you don’t then you can never really move on. That part of your life is always going to stay with you. It will consume you in a way that you can never imagine. It will make you loose yourself and I don’t think some stupid person should be more important than yourself. So simply hate them.
"}]
A Successful Entrepreneur is one sets an example for others, stands an inspirations for all the budding entrepreneurs, serves his/her company as a family. Entrepreneurship is the new path that every college student of present generation is willingly to opt for.

Being an engineering student, during my four-year journey, I saw multiple engineers spreading into different fields and excelling in them. Engineers are known for their capability to excel with flying colors irrespective of the field they follow. To name few, engineers get into field works, software sectors, banking, government jobs, professorship, teaching.

But in the recent years we see most of the engineering grads breaking the stereotypes of working in an MNC and take baby steps in getting promoted to reach the least highest post.

Today most of us have a innovative idea but the Real Entrepreneur is the one who is ready to walk on the path filled with risks, obstacles, speed breakers, criticism, challenges and such other that would test them at every stage of the journey. The one who walks through and reach the destination aimed for they achieve self-satisfaction, success and discipline in life besides money and fame. Success in entrepreneurship may or may not be sure, or at the earliest, but gradually it comes to you.

Here is the list of RITEE Grads who are now an Successful Entrepreneurs. They integrate the business management with technical skills to lead the India in global arena.

We're like best friends but blood-related, can you believe me if I say that sometimes in my early high school days she'd encourage me to bunk classes and hang out with friends just so I don't miss out on any fun or that I had my first martini with her? She taught me how to walk and she also taught me how to have fun but she even taught me responsibility that is to have fun but not go overboard on it and forget your ambitions and dreams. She taught me how to be adventurous but also how to be careful. She taught me how to concentrate on my goals but at the same time didn't allow me to miss out on any bonfires and fun.
I share everything that comes to my mind with her and I feel that's an exclusive freedom only a few get, my bond with her keeps me sane and allows me to take right decisions in my life.
I feel it's very important for people to have friendly relations with their: PARENTS.
My mother and I have a very close bond, something very exceptional and rare to find these days. She is my greatest teacher who taught me love, compassion and fearlessness and she's that someone I know who will always have my back.

A healthy relationship with your parents is very necessary, when you take out time for each other and try to build your relationship by sharing personal issues with each other and be supportive towards each other's goals, you stop looking for love and affection outside your house, you're happy and content and you don't fall into traps of false promises. You don't need somebody else to fill that void and hence fewer mistakes and ex's. Not only relationships, when you don't get enough love and attention from home you often start looking for it in friendships, which ends in trusting the wrong ones.

A good attachment with them helps you regulate emotions under stress and in difficult situations and develops you physically, socially, emotionally and cognitively. Daily interaction with your parents helps you take wiser and beneficial decisions in life.

It helps you realize your goals and gives you a clean picture of what you desire or want from life or from people. You can start by asking them how their day at office went or whether they performed well in the meeting they were so stressed out about, you can take out some time to cook together, do something adventurous or go out on a long drive, Personal activities like these help in growth of relationships.

We have become so busy following our careers and goals that we hardly take out time or give an opportunity for beautiful relationships to evolve. We often see parents as strict and unfriendly and people we've to hide things from, but in reality nobody can understand us better than they can because they've known us for the longest. They are the only ones obligated to love us no matter what ; from the rest of the world we have to earn it. They're the only group who'll support you if you score a zero or a forty, so don't let a bond so pure go waste.

"}]
Being only around 1 ½ inch long and 8 mm thick, it had managed to obstruct perpetually an innocent child’s dream of becoming a superman. Lodged in his young heart confused at the reducing beats as it was accustomed to the frenzied ones usually coming from the euphoric playtime, the bullet was slowly, stealthily stealing the glory of future.

As was the little one’s tendency, he frantically attempted to reach his mother and in a bewildering first, his muscles wouldn't agree nor would his throat which had caged his wails from everyone except his mother, whose dying heart could still, not miraculously, feel the deafening cries of her child. And so she began what would be the last of her many struggles- the struggle to listen to her child that last time.

She was quite far, but she knew beyond doubt, that her son was speaking to her. She could see his thoughts right through the heavy mist of his closing eyes, his pain stabbing her heart more intensely than the metal pieces.

He said “ It will dawn, Ma. One day, from a hopefully near future, will pride itself on a new time, a time which has risen above today’s vice”. The mother inched closer, dragging her dead limbs solely with the will to listen to these words arising from the deepest part of her son’s heart, deeper than the reach of the bullet.

“In that time, Every carousel will be open for all my friends, even for that boy without amma and papa”, he continued. “No classroom will suffer from the absence of any person just because of the way they look, the clothes they wear or the name they choose to address God when praying for that shopkeeper to fall asleep, leaving all candy for children. All the world leaders from my lesson will fight peacefully only to bring all of us closer so that my Israeli friend will finally be able to count the marbles of her Palestinian friend from that border tent and decide who had to pay for the tempting chocolates they had seen.”

His mother prayed fervently for such time to grace the horizon soon, if possible, sooner than they would depart to the unseen side of it. His innocence again spoke “ The destructive weapons will never be brought out of my PlayStation and our homes, our stories will never be lost to the world of reminiscence. And we wouldn’t have to bear this pain umi, this pain that I wish you could reduce with your magical hug”.

Little did he know that his desire was reciprocated by his mother’s ardent want to hold him close and listen to his heartbeat before it all falls silent.

And with this yearning, the mother pushed her now collapsing limits, just the way she did when she was a little more full of life. She saw the sun rays caressing his forehead, the gold glistening like a halo over his face covered with sweat, blood and tears she couldn't wipe. She saw the earth kissing him and she knew that she had to hold him, caress him and kiss him too, right where it hurt him the most, even if it meant hauling her bleeding body through the shrapnel that wasn't content with destruction just yet. The strength coursing through her, fueled by the voiceless, breathless whispers of her child, would put Hercules to shame.

The child whispered “ Mama, when that time will come, everyone will have a home and then their toys wouldn’t be lost by continuous shifting ,through dangerous mountains and thunderously roaring waters notorious for kidnapping naughty people as my Syrian friend told me . Also, their feet wouldn’t be blistered, their muscles never sore and then they’d play with me late into the evening, until you’d call us for eating delicious samosas. And in every home, such scrumptious treats would entice children into pausing their games, with no one going hungry. I may not know how it feels to starve, mommy, but it must be similar to this growing hurt in my body and hence, I pray no one goes without food and water.”

By now, the mother herself was in excruciating pain. Maybe the reason behind it are the metal remnants of weaponry finding home, strangely, in an innocent’s body but there was more than a slight chance that it were the tears on her son’s serene face that knifed through her soul. But knowing the only path towards peace for them was to give him her magical hug, she dragged herself through inches magnified hundreds of times for her lacerated flesh. But her agony vanished when, finally, her child touched her bleeding yet comforting palm, his lifeless lips smiling in anticipation of that magical hug.

And he resumed. “ Madre, the beautiful sun of that novel time won’t be the only source of warmth. Everyone will radiate a resplendent glow, even the uncle who scolds us each time our ball, by honest mistake, lands in his yard. The only fire burning shall be that of intense passion to succeed. The only war shall be for the TV remote. The only explosions shall be for Diwali, Eid, Christmas and all other festivals i’ll learn on making new friends. It would be a time of peace, happiness and contentment. It will be delightful, that tomorrow”.

By Now, the mother had cocooned her son in the undying warmth of a mother’s embrace and just as their dying hearts beat together for one last time, she heard her son request “ Wake me up in that tomorrow, mother, wake me up”.

"}]
I believe a woman isn't a rock but a storm that every ravager gets alarmed of the agitated situations that should be faced well I always feel that just our thoughts wont let women stay safe and I also feel it is neither gained being just brave nor striving to be so at so many cases these thoughts of mine made me think over the horizon and that lead to the evolution of the following idea.
Yes we do have a lot of safety measures coming up, happening, and taken up all by ourselves but there should always be a clear and astounding strategy to save ourselves and what do you think that would be? " our dressing?, our innocence?, our ignorance?" well its not that, would you just believe that the whole strategy could be in a single pendent? yes the pendent we wear to our neck or our hand. Well my idea is as the following way a pendent is something which we can use for so many cases but I really feel if a small pendent would hide the small chip in its little place and how would it be if that little chip would help us to track where we are or indicates others if we are in a problem!! Wow that would definitely reduce the missing cases and the logic here which also helps us in another way is we can also find if our jewellery gets misplaced somewhere! It serves as a baggage of safety which reduces robbery and increases and gives much more strength and most importantly women turn out to be brave enough which ultimately leads to the development at each and every sector related to women safety! At last I conclude that safety doesn't happen by accident it needs a strategy and bravery.

How amazing it would be if you are put in a house where you have roommates, who belong to
different nationalities? You get to share your room, your wardrobe, kitchen and even have a
common bathroom. Every new experience you encounter presents a cultural shock. You have
nothing in common, but somehow you are destined to meet.
When you travel across the seas, you get to meet people whose perspectives differ from your's.

It is obvious that they may not have a prevailing thought process. You may not
contribute to the same set of practices, rules or religion, but you definitely would share a few
moments of your life together. You will know how different your kind or community is, from the rest of the
world. Sometimes you come across a few people who teach you that life is something better
than just earning your living.

In this fast growing world, it is critical for a person to come out of their confines to have a
better vision of the world. A one-hour conversation with a foreigner sitting next to you on the
flight can reveal a good bunch of facts that you would be perplexed to know. It would also
introduce yourself to a formal ambience where your kindness alone could pay off. Talking to a
local lad who appears to be friendly can get you acquainted with a few prerequisites to survive
in his nation.
At first, you eventually start learning baby words from the other language and then their
practices and you gently blend into the culture.
