Ah the great outdoors!

As much as I love being shut in my room and watching Netflix all day, it is always a fantastic idea to go out every once in a while and just let loose in nature, y'know? Become one with nature, disconnect with the virtual world and become part of one that was always there for you, despite the fact that we are also killing it very rapidly with excessive pollution that will come back to bite us in the future.

So get in your cars that run on fossil fuels and emit world killing gasses from your exhaust pipes as you travel to these remote locations still relatively untouched by pollution until it becomes mainstream. Which means even I'm contributing to these places being mainstream. What have I done?

Jokes aside, here are 5 adventures within India that one must go on at least once in their lives

1. Skydive in Deesa, Gujarat

Who told you Skydiving isn't done in India? Nobody? You just assumed it? Because I sure did. I only found out you could skydive in the country only after I left for my masters and was sorely disappointed, but not for long because I did skydive a few months into my masters. I digress.

There's nothing quite as exhilarating as jumping out of an airplane thousands of feet off the ground and hurtling straight down towards the ground with nothing but a parachute and a little prayer than it should work without a hitch. You haven't lived till you've sky dived, trust me on that one.

2. Travel the Manali - Leh 'Highway' by Bicycle.

Oh so you think you're tough, huh? You think you can hike unspeakable miles and drive even further with a strong back and enough food and you call yourself a traveller (I totally do)?

Come back when you've the strength to take on the Manali to Leh highway on bicycle. This 450 kilometre bicycle ride in some of the most dangerous roads on the planet is the ultimate test of endurance for the average cyclist. Only the toughest and the most insane attempt this. Which one are you?

3. Go Spelunking in Meghalaya

Apart from over 100 reasons to actually visit Meghalaya (it's one of the prettiest states in the country), it has an extensive network of caves right under the surface that are just waiting to be explored.

Oh yeah, that is what Spelunking means. I know I come off as a crass know it all at all times, but trust me, this one is for the general audience. So buckle up and strap on your protective gear and hope you don't have claustrophobia because the cave systems under Meghalaya are literally hundreds of kilometres long. Don't get lost.

4. Cliffjump in Rishikesh:

Finally! Something that I've actually done in India. During one of my many trips to the North, a crazy friend I made in Rishikesh took me to a cliff and asked me to jump straight down into the water. Then he proceeded to jump straight in like it was nothing.

The shock of watching someone keel over into the water below alone was enough for me to say, oh yes, I wanna try this too.

Cliffjumping is extremely dangerous, highly inadvisable and also extremely fun. What's life without a certain risk of death?

5. Paraglide!

Luckily, there are a lot of places across India that allow paragliding, so you've lucked out a bit here. There's something special in flying over tree tops and people and pretending you're god. Trust me, it's fun.

With a lot of expectations and enthusiasm 72 members out of 150 members entered the ideation camp workshop on the first day.

Everyone was in a confused state, thinking about the two day workshop. No one is clear about what are they going to do inside. Do we have to build up a new model? Or Do we have to give an innovative idea? Or Do anything else which we are unaware of? These were the questions seen in heads of all the students over there.

To encourage us all and motivate (mostly to guide) our college has many faculty members.

Dr. N. Suman sir is so encouraging and helpful to everyone. Not only our college faculty, we also have prof. Nitin Kulkarni from KLE University as a guest.

72 members Were divided into 12 teams each having 6 students. Those 6 are actually categorised into 3 parts . Those are 1 is business person and second is designer and the third is techie. So that every team has efficientteam members to complete the given task.

We were provided with manuals of three major problems in the society like health care, sanitation and use of internet in under served committees.

Each team has to select one problem. As there were 12 teams these three problem are equally selected by 4 teams per problem.

We were given charts filled with steps to solve the problem and sticky pads to write our research points.

End of the day we were able to think and research a lot about our own selected problems.

Nitin Kulkarni sir was very helpful to all the teams giving advices and leading them to get a great solution.

We also have our college faculty as volunteers.

On the second day we are going to give our solutions so that they could decide the winners.

This camp is really interesting and worth to leave labs and come.
"}]
The Geminid Meteor Shower, an annual event that happens every year mid December, is finally happening tonight and the best part is that it will be visible across the world. That's right, everywhere on the planet, people can look up at the night sky and see the Geminid as it happens and bits of the asteroid streak across the sky. How cool is that?

Of course, it goes without saying that you most likely will not be able to view the shower in the sky from inside the city, thanks to tremendous amounts of pollution, both gaseous and light, but a short drive to the outskirts of the city with good company, some camping equipment and materials for a bonfire (it's December, you'll freeze without one) with some refreshments and you can view them showers all night!

I was originally planning to go on an extended explanation on why this phenomenon occurs but then again, that deserves an article of its own and long winding explanations, most of which is a mass jumble of confusion and requires some research. So, in interest of preserving everyone's sanity, I'm only going to ask you to take a drive to the outskirts of the city, sit on the bonnet of your car (after it has cooled down, you don't want a burnt backside) and look up at the sky. Marvel at the sight, read up on the Geminid, appreciate the silence.

Enjoy life.
"}]
Deciding to write a blog about going through writer's block was not something I thought I'd be doing one year after starting to write professionally. I did not expect to be burned out this quickly but then again this has been quite an eventful and not to mention a fruitful year for me and my work. What was once a disjointed mess of words connected with a singular rant is now a focused, tight and sharp narrative that tells a story of something or someone and that makes me happy.

But the problem is life isn't always very consistent, sometimes you have to deal with stuff in professional and private lives that can and will affect how you write. So after staring at my screen for the last 2 hours, trying to find the motivation to write, I decided to scrap that project and write this instead.

Because I want this to be honest, from the heart. That usually means letting the heart do the writing and editing it later.

No matter how much of a passion you think it is, doing things you love for a living can and will take a toll on you without fail. I've been told extensively that there will come a point in my life where I'll understand my limits once I hit them so of course, I ignore that advice. Look where I am today, writing about not being able to write without even knowing if there are people reading this stuff or not. But I'll come back to this particular issue.

What does a writer's block feel like? Unlike the few movies its shown in, there's one very distinctive feature about writer's block that makes you want to tear your brain out of your skull.

It's painfully quiet.

It sneaks up on you when you're not looking and there you are, sitting in front of your laptop staring slack-jawed and glassy-eyed at the title you spent the last 30 minutes thinking about, not being able to write a single word. It is having all the motivation in the world to sit down and start writing but when you do actually get to the writing part, you are blank. Words you knew slip from your mind, sentences you've formed fly out the window faster than Grindelwald stealing The Elder Wand from Gergorovitch and there is absolutely nothing you can do to stop it.

I don't know how to describe that feeling of knowing you can do it but having your body physically restrict you from writing, of having no idea what to write and the worst one: wondering why you should even bother writing. When you hit that stage, you're too far gone. It's like there are little bits of thoughts that want to jump from your mind to the screen and then onward but instead, they either refuse to leave their little hidey-holes or they never show up.

All of this while your life is seemingly normal, while you seem happy otherwise to people looking at you. Nobody really knows what you're feeling inside and that is a terrifying thought: To think how much writer's block has in common with depression.

I've been down this road before, I know what works and doesn't work, I know I'll bounce back. But it's the fact that I even have to go through it in the first place that bothers me so.

I think I have finally hit my limit. I pushed back too far and got flung far back into ground zero of mediocrity, not that I consider myself a good writer in the first place but to be even considered somewhat moderately good, I have to actually start writing. When the act of writing itself seems impossible, what recourse do I have except think of mediocrity?

There's a particular line in Max Payne 2 that I'm very fond of, "Genius of the hole," Max says in his trademark voice, "No matter how long you spend climbing out, you can fall back down in an instant."

I believe this applies here. I'm probably definitely overthinking this, but to me, writer's block is a lot like depression, because in my worst periods of depression I couldn't physically do anything at all. The solution then is to slowly recover, heal, tell yourself you're going to be okay even when you don't believe it and then actually believe it. Keep pushing forward or unplug from life, whatever your method is to heal, you should take it, but to always remember that all it takes is one mistake and you're going all the way to the bottom once again.

The Genius of the Hole, indeed.

I honestly wish this could be a better article. I can say I did my best but honestly speaking, I know I'm better than this. All it would take is one story to inspire me enough to pursue it to the ends of the earth and tell it or a good weeklong holiday where I do not have to think about work at all. Whatever the case, this is where things stand.

If you tend to read a lot of my stuff on this website, first of all, thank you for sticking with the ramblings of a man who didn't really think he'd amount to much. Secondly, I must apologise for not being regular with what I write. It has been a difficult period in my life and I'm still going through it but here's hoping I can move past this issue and bring to you stories from people you need to know about to people you want to know about.

You can be the most passionate person in the world but if you don't allow yourself some room to breathe while chasing those passions, there isn't much you can do when you finally grind to a halt. Such is the way of life. Such is the curse of productivity and the foolishness of youth: we believe ourselves to be invincible and inexhaustible in the work we love to do and then we hit a wall, we realise we cannot push on anymore.

At least, I had a medium to vent. What about you?
"}]
When Thomas Alva Edison successfully invented the light bulb all his assistants were happy. As he had experimented around 1000 times before getting success in his attempt to invent the light bulb.

Edison called office boy and asked him to test that bulb. Being just an office boy, he was very nervous to even hold that bulb in his hand still he did because Edison asked him to test it, he was so nervous holding it that due to nervousness he accidentally dropped it.

Office boy got scared that he would get fired from his job for dropping such important invention. After two days
Edison again that office boy to come to his cabin. All assistants were present there.Edison constructed another bulb and asked that boy to test the bulb.

All assistants were surprised and said,"why did u call him again??There are chances of him dropping it again and all your effort could go to waste..."Edison replied,"it took me roughly one day to construct that bulb again and even if he drops it again, I can again construct the bulb within a day...But if I don't give him same task again then he would have lost his belief and confidence which would be very difficult to get back..... and I don't want it to happen...!!!!!

I was very much excited and awaited for that moment...as i have got an National youth worker award from srilankan delegates at India- Srilanka youth exchange programme conducted by Audicious foundation in association with sri lankan ministry.

Today what i would like to share with you is that which most of them lacks...

so many of them are moving like a sheep in a moving group of 100 sheeps, no difference.., if one starts moving in one direction and other starts moving by following the other.

but i request, and my saying is that dont be like a sheep, be unique like a lion.

choose your interest, make it your passion, define the way how can you reach it, work hard but smart with dedication and commitment.

before this you must to do theproductive things everyday once just think about what you are doing today, is it useful for tomorrow if it is ? then how ?

my dear fellows, i would also want to say you that...dont be stopped with your family, neighbours, rumors...they are all bla blabla...

most of them starts with negetive, they discourages you but make use that point as a key towards success and start a postive way.

many of them fears to start something new, or to learn, to grow.. it's just because of their environment how they build their mind and they think that they are lacking in resources...but the fact was they are not ready to face challenges...you should not be like that, we have all the enough resources and coming to financial ( where there is a will there is a way)

when i was about to start my organization, i have faced so may challenges.. that can i do ? how can i do it? i dont know and even i didnt started anything before ? but these questions are jstwashed away when i have started moving forward with an intention that i have everything, i know everything , i can make it.

at last, completing this with my quote..

Your day at beginning is an empty page, its upto you...what you will put it on it..either happy , sad, productive, waste stuff...

but by the end of the day, your page must be productive enough to make more colorful the next page..

take everyday as a challenge.

"}]

The night.

The night, the one which you feel like will never end.

The yellow walls of your room are closing in on you. The birds on the wall are not set free. They are like those lives trapped inside the 2-dimensional linear structures. They can’t move. They’re choking. Listen to these walls carefully, they have a million stories to say!

The bookshelf just opposite to you, the one with a lot of books, is trying to tell you a number of stories. Stories which you are a part of. Stories, your stories because you are the hero. But you don’t want to be a hero!

The blue lights on the roof are black now. The twinkling bright starlight you had switched on because you cannot sleep in the dark is no warmer! It feels cold, it doesn’t feel yours anymore. It is different.

The pillows were the only ears you had to your endless complain and now they are no more with you to take those silent screams, to help you share the pain, to crumble your worries, to squeeze your troubles.

No, they’re not the same.
No, they’re not the same.

The floor is not yours anymore. It doesn’t comfort you anymore. Your feet are now like those trembling hands trying to grope something in the dark, looking for the slight touch of the blanket. The blanket to help you hide from the monsters.

Monsters, the thoughts; you don’t want to know what is happening outside. You don’t want to know that it is raining outside and the petrichor can not make its way into the blanket. You don’t want to know that the fizzy sound of the blades of the fan is just the air, the air you need to breathe in, the air which has is giving you a life.

“Come out you, come out you.”
These are just the voices in your head.

Listen to what your claustrophobic heart is really trying to say?

It is telling you to inhale- slowly and deep! It’s telling you to feel the breeze around you. You don’t have to share it with anyone. You don’t have to keep your secrets to yourself.

It is telling you to feel free.

It is telling you to look at the world beyond the 2-dimension perspective you’ve been living with forever.

Just slowly. Very slowly.

Yes, breathe!
"}]
