Crop circles are large-scale flattening of crops (like wheat etc.) into interesting and peculiar designs. Though commonly believed to be man-made due to a number of confessions from crop circle hoaxers, they remain regular occurrences that are hard to explain.
Since becoming the focus of widespread media attention in the 1980's, crop circles have become the subject of speculation by various paranormal theories.

More likely formation mechanism of crop circles is some kind of "plasma vortex" which could display complex chaotic patterns and a lot of apparent intelligence. The mechanism of bending may be from a combination of microwave and electromagnetic fields.

There are several theories about how crop circles come about. Many are likely hoaxed by some rather ordinary means like ropes, boards. More recent sophisticated circles implies some extremely good survey and geometrical skills.
Physicists have suggested that the most complex formations might be made with the help of GPS and lasers.

Cereologists have suggested that crop circles are the result of extraordinary meteorological phenomena ranging from freak tornadoes to ball lightning, but there is no evidence of any crop circle being created by any of these causes.

Paranormally, some claim that they were created by bizarre meteorological phenomena to message extraterrestrial beings.

Some point to crop circles that they are created by intelligent species which uses various technologies and create them for their own amusement. Some even claim that crop circles are made by extra terrestrial space crafts when they land on the ground they are made due to prupulsion. There is also a truth that many of them are made by farmers itself to attract people to their village .The mysterious and authentic crop circles have been thoroughly investigated by scientists. Scientists suggests that they are made by human beings. The US and UK governments have got something to do with the crop circle thing. There could be some reasoning in alien line of thought, but it's simply not true.

Since we have no evidence of visits by extraterrestrial beings then obviously no crop circles can possibly have been 'proven' to be made by them.
All crop circles are either secret vandalism or permitted artworks done with the farmer's permission. The Syrian Civil war had way more complicated and undesired effects than we ever thought of, one of those is the displacement of the citizens to safer grounds on huge scales and their migration to other countries, precisely turning in to refugees. The economy of Syria has already been crippled completely and it's now no more than a battle field. But, this very refugee crisis is now a test to the humanity, let's see how good we are taking the test...

txt
rich_1528552854945

The Syrian crisis appropriately, the global refugee crisis is one the biggest we have ever seen. People left their own country and emigrate to other possible countries in search of better life. This very crisis began in the 2015 when Syria was experiencing a brutal civil war. The main destinations for emigrants were the neighbouring countries like Iran, Turkey, Jordan and so on...they themselves being a moderate economies couldn't cope up with the huge number of refugees and also the conditions continued to become worse as they finally gave up. Now, the emigrants started to look on to a new destination, Europe. Many refugees risked their lives travelling through waters in unsafe and overcrowded boats to get to these European countries and many of them have lost their lives in between. For all who somehow got there, it was never a warm welcome. The countries feared of economic destabilisation, security issues and many more as they refused to accept the refugees. But, things never slowed down, as the Civil war is at its peek in Syria, there came more and more refugees seeking the help of these countires. The countires, notably Germany, Greece, Italy and so on...started allowing the refugees after seeing their heart touching and emotional journeys to get here and the way they losing their lives, especially children who are a majority among the refugees. But, recently countries started to tighten their immigration laws and restrict the refugees each with their own versions of reasons. The thing that hurts the most is many political parties are going against the refugees and giving false impressions on them to the locals. If situation goes on this way, things would take very unusual turns and could lead to the most unexpected results.

The refugees are not the ones to fear for, it's the responsibility of nations as fellow beings to provide them a shelter. Allowing them to work and when basic needs like health and education are provided to them, they turn into real assets which the countries should realise instead of treating them as terrorists. One step towards the betterment of humanity, that's all it takes to make world a better place...
"}]

Both Marvel and DC have revolutionized the comic book industry since their inception. They have reached new highs in terms of financial success, popularity, fandom, etc. But each one is different in it's own way and their respective fans would vouch for it. Marvel Comics, owned by Marvel Entertainment, is headquarted in New York. They fist began operations in 1939 with the superheroes Human Torch and Namor. Military themed superheroes like Captain America were introduced during the Second World War which gained extreme popularity. Marvel has since continued over the years on a high note , with superheroes such as Spiderman, Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, etc. and with it's recent success in movies. DC comics on the other hand, is owned by DC Entertainment and was started in 1934. Their superheroes like Superman and Batman have gained immense fan following over the years.

DC has always had dark characters with huge superhuman capabilities, such as Superman, Wonder Woman, etc. On the other hand, Marvel's superheroes are more or less vulnerable, with their own man made powers or evolving powers. DC has had fictional cities like Gotham, Metropolis, etc. Marvel consists of real life cities like New York though. Marvel scores more on the popularity front though, as their superheroes are more relatable and according to polls, people would prefer to watch the 'friendly neighbourhood Spiderman' , rather than watching godlike superheroes fighting aliens. Still, the superheroes of DC score more on the individual popularity front. In terms of the recent films being made, Marvel wins by a huge margin. Most of the films of the MCU have been masterpieces, while the DC universe has failed with movies like the Man of Steel and Suicide Squad. There have been flashes of brilliance with movies like The Dark Knight series though, which were one of the best superhero movies ever made. Wonder Woman also lived upto expectations, but the other movies of the DC universe have failed to do so. DC started well earlier with Christopher Reeve's Superman, while Marvel didn't do that well at that time, but the tables have turned in the 21st century.

In terms of TV shows, DC wins hands down . With increasing popularity of shows like the Arrow, Flash, and Legends of Tomorrow, and past animated shows like Batman, and Justice League, Marvel stands nowhere in the league. Though they have improved with shows like Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. , it still has a long way to go to be on par with DC in this regard. Even in terms of video games, DC is the clear winner with the 'Arkham' series and many others, while Marvel has none. Taking everything into consideration, both Marvel and DC are different and unique in their own way, and hence both have their own set of fans. Both have contributed immensely to the entertainment industry since decades and will continue to do so in future as well.

Hi,

Some of you know me, others know me just by my writing, but a vast majority of you may not have heard of me at all - maybe you have read an article or two on the website written by me and passed on it. Nonetheless, I was - emphasis on was - the features writer and editor for stuMagz, most of your articles were edited by me, I apologise.

Although to be honest, some of you should be apologising to me for the insane amount of deleting and rewriting I had to do to make the articles legible to us mere mortals.

Jokes aside, I've decided to quit stuMagz and possibly seek greener pastures, maybe overseas, maybe across the country, because it was time for me to move on. For the last 18 months, I had an absolute blast writing, editing and even deleting some of your articles and I don't know if I can find the joy of doing that anywhere else. It has been an absolute honor and a privilege.

Which brings us to this blog piece, why am I writing it? Because I believe I owe a goodbye to those few of you who regularly read my articles - thank you for being such loyal readers, it kept my drive to seek interesting stories to tell going, it was my motivation in moments of frustration - moments where I almost gave up on a story I was chasing. This is also a thank you to stuMagz, the management, the students who make the platform and the people that believe in us, my writing would have an audience of zero people if it wasn't for you.

I am not sure where I'm going next. I have a few ideas but nothing concrete - I know I want to keep writing, I do not have a degree either so I need to work on that. It is, in a way, amusing that before I was in stuMagz, I was constantly anxious about the path I was going to take. Before I was with stuMagz, I was more or less an aimless 24-year-old guy with no degree and a skill that I couldn't even market. If it wasn't for my mother to light the figurative fire under my rump, I would probably have never taken the initiative to work at stuMagz, I shudder to think how life would have been in that case.

But then again, it was a learning experience - learning to take responsibility, taking the initiative to go chase your goals because nobody is going to stop and telling you to do so, you have to do it on your own. It was also a learning experience in how to write, how to tell stories people want to read, how to find stories that nobody else is thinking about, there's a lot to writing that people just don't acknowledge, it's that sneaky feeling in the back of your head when you're reading something good, a feeling that says 'damn, this is good', but you can't really place your finger on why it is so good. Some people are just naturally gifted at that sort of writing, the same sort that inspired me to start doing so. The more I wrote, the more I realised that I'm not just that type of writer.

But then, people started giving me feedback - they loved my style, they said, they loved how easy going and conversational my writing was. I still find it hard to believe, to be honest, I can't really take compliments and as a writer, one is cursed to forever finding errors in your own writing that others might not notice. It honestly is much worse than it sounds.

But, it is purpose. It was hope, in my own abilities as a writer and a storyteller and my abilities to talk to people and tell their stories for them. stuMagz believed in me when nobody else did and that is not something a man can forget in his lifetime.

So, I guess, that is the ultimate purpose of this farewell, a deep felt thank you note to everyone who has read my work on this website, to the organisation for believing in me, to you for reading so far and the even few who will follow me to my next venture, Thank you. From the bottom of my heart.

This is perhaps my last post on the website, but that doesn't mean it is over. I can only hope that my writing has touched you in some way or the other, maybe it made you angry enough to write a rebuttal, maybe it inspired you to start writing on your own, I do not think I'm big enough to inspire people just yet, but even if I inspired one person to start writing on this platform, I'd feel like I'd done my job.

So, in short, it's about legacy, my legacy on this platform. I struggled to find a way to write that without it sounding like I was full of myself, but I have to be honest.

As my path takes me into the valley beyond to many more unknown adventures, faces both familiar and unfamiliar, I hope to see this platform grow into a thriving community to share ideas and start projects, what we'd envisioned when we huddled together in the beginning. I can only hope that you, dear reader, take the initiative to write and share your ideas so that you may leave your own legacy behind for your juniors and their juniors.

Because, to me, that is what stuMagz is, a platform to share ideas and inspiration and now, it's time for you to do your bit.
"}]

Sky is what we call our atmosphere. Sky has no colour i.e., the space is colourless. But, absence of light in the space makes it dark. The sun emits radiation in all visible wavelengths, so the actual colour of the sun rays is white, which can be seen from space. Before white light reaches the earth's surface, the light waves collide with and bounce off the nitrogen and oxygen atoms in the atmosphere. Sun rays takes nearly 8 minutes 20 seconds to reach our earth's atmosphere. The sun rays comprises of VIBGYOR. Different frequencies of light are scattered differently.

As the visible spectrum consists of the colours VIBGYOR, mostly the sky is filled with a shade of blue .The colour of the sky is created by light scattering (this is usually called Rayleigh scattering) and diffracting off of these molecules and particles. The amount of scattering depends on the size and density of the particles, optical path length, and most importantly by the intensity of the scattering which is wavelength dependant.

Blue has less wave length than red, orange, yellow, green, violet and indigo so that it can reach only the atmosphere level. People who ace the UPSC usually opt for the IAS these days. This has been a shift from the earlier days when most of them opted for the Indian Foreign Service or the IFS. Diplomacy is generally defined as the art of negotiating deals and agreements with countries and international organisations. Career diplomats serving in the Indian Foreign Service serve in the many foreign missions of India abroad, in the international organisations such as UN,UNESCO, etc., head Regional Passport Offices in India, and also manage and run the Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi. The bureaucrats in services like IAS, IRS, IPS and other central services are running the country, but the officers in the IFS are creating foreign policies for the country and maintaining and promoting India's relations with foreign countries, which is one of the most important tasks in taking India forward in the ever changing world.

The idea of establishing a separate foreign service for the country originated from a note dated 30 September 1944, recorded by Lieutenant-General T. J. Hutton, the Secretary of the Planning and Development Department. Then Olaf Caroe, the Foreign Secretary, suggested that as India was going forward to be an independent country, a diplomatic service to represent India abroad was the need of the hour. Finally on 9 October 1946,on the eve of Indian independence, the Indian government established the Indian Foreign Service to represent India abroad for diplomatic, commercial, consular and other purposes. The first batch of the IFS were selected in 1948 by the Civil Services Examination conducted by the UPSC . The cadre size of the IFS is one of the smallest every year, ranging among 25-30 officers each year. The Indian Foreign Service is an exclusive premier service, with around 800 IFS handling both Indian missions abroad and the headquarters at South Block.

It is indeed unfortunate that new officers getting top ranks in the UPSC exams only opt for the IAS these days. The IFS is an extremely important and prestigious service, with it's officers representing India abroad. And what can be more prestigious than being a representative of your country, negotiating agreements on behalf of a billion citizens of your country? Officers eventually get promoted to the rank of High Commissioners, Ambassadors, etc., who are placed among the top people in the order of precedence of that country, being addressed by terms such as 'His Excellency'. They also head an entire mission of India, and sign deals on behalf of the entire country. On top of it, they travel around the world and serve in several foreign countries. At the end of their career, almost all of them would have lived a life full of thrill and adventure, with many tales to narrate. So brilliant students preparing for the UPSC and having interests in International Relations and travelling should break the barrier and join the IFS. The IFS needs such intelligent and brilliant officers now, to build solid relations with countries around the world, and take India forward to being an economic superpower.

We go on blaming others for such partition , but somewhere between it , there is our hand too..!!

But was religion made for such purpose? Religion is not to divide the nation. It is us who divided it . We say ourselves educated but doing such stuff don’t show it. It is none but the people around that created such environment. Even our nature , Is it providing its resource according to religion? Our blood, Is there any mark that show religion? Has there any evidence be made that you are divided by this religion? Obviously no. Remember the ancient India, where there were no partition. No religion conflicts. We say that mine is best , mine is best. And with the same beliefs there are various problems created. People fight on the name of religion.
