A fair complexation tends to be the epitome of how media perceives beauty. We invest tons of thousands of rupees on face packs, chemical peels and surgical procedures to get lighter, mainly in order to satisfy society with our clean polished looks. However though while being in the midst of this infamous belief, we seem to neglect the point that your skin tone doesn’t make you more or less attractive than the person next to you. It just makes you, you. There is absolutely nothing wrong about having a dark complexation.

For many years, I was extremely insecure about my skin colour. Having a fairly dark skin tone kept me restricted from wearing bright colours which I supposed would do my complexation more harm than good. As a result, I typically stuck to shades such as black and navy blue in hopes that they would maybe make me look a tad bit lighter. To say the least I was ignorant about my own beauty. I was unable to realise to how vulnerable I had become to acknowledge the negative criticism that society manages to throw towards the best of us. Slowly yet eventually though, I had learned to fight against such condescending views to embrace what I had. I came to an understanding that my skin tone didn’t define my beauty, it defined me as the unique individual I had grown to become for I had to appreciate my personal attributes in order for others to do the same.

Beauty through a fair complexion is an omnipresent characteristic that plagues society because of the unrealistic implications put by mainstream media. Nonetheless, it is unfortunate to say that many amongst us breath in the misconception that fair is more beautiful. That shouldn’t be the case though. Bottom line is: dark-skinned or light-skinned learn to love yourself. Colour is, rather, beautiful so better yet one should embrace it, own it and flaunt it.
"}]

Bose is an industry leader in the Bluetooth headphones department, and their commitment to quality shows in the Bose QuietComfort-35, from the excellent sound quality, noise cancellation and build quality to being a perfect device for you to connect to your various bluetooth, and NFC because it has that too, devices, even your TVs if you have bluetooth on it, and believe me it is much better to enjoy your TV shows late at night with these headphones on than setting the volume so low that you can barely hear anything that's being said, just so the rest of the house does not wake up.

'If it ain't broke, don't fix it', a principle you can see Bose following for the QC-35, carrying over from their previous wireless headphones, QC-25. But lets get down to the bass tacks. In this review we will talk about design, comfort and sound quality.

Design:

The earcups are flexible enough to be turned to face the opposite direction, and even then the sound quality is better than a few phone's loudspeakers in the market. But then again, that is not the QC-35s purpose. The headphones come with a comfortable, extending bridge that is adjustable to many different types of heads, and I should know, I have quite a large one.

That being said, it fits snugly enough with minimal effort, enough to not fall off and be comfortable on your ears even while you're at the gym. I would like to take this moment to thank Bose and my friend who lend me these to review for helping me drown out the awful music at the gym, thank you! The earcups are made of synthetic leather soft, which are quiet comfortable on the ear. In the full day that I used it, I didn't feel discomfort at any point of usage. Do not that in a hot country such as ours, the ears can sweat, and that is not good. Sound Quality:

Using two mics to listen to ambient noise and then noise cancel accordingly, the QC35s are a class apart from your regular headphones. These days, with the common misconception of a headphones being only as good as the bass it provides, the Bose QC-35 is a very satisfying neutral on all sounds, which allows you, the user to tweak their music experience by using equalisers, which I highly recommend getting familiar with if you listen to a lot of music and use a music player. The audio clarity is so good that it can expose songs that have been poorly mixed or sound files with low quality, and apart from music, the headphones are excellent for watching movies as well, speech lines are crisp and clear, and you can really appreciate the sound mixing in movies like, for instance, Interstellar.

Usage:The battery life is nothing short of excellent. While the review was under progress, I used these pair of headphones for one entire day, and I only had to charge it in the morning. Even if you run out of charging, the ear cans can be used without batteries by connecting a 3.5mm wire from the source to the headphones, which become quiet essential on long haul flights and long journeys where you can't depend on a power source for a while. I generally use a pair of earphones at work as music helps me focus, and the QC35s threw out whatever awareness I had about my surroundings and made me completely focus on the task at hand and nothing else: the noise cancellation will ensure you know nothing else, you are in a world of your own, depending on the type of music you are listening to.

Final Thoughts: Are these worth the price? If you have ever asked this question then you will feel such enormous relief in knowing the answer, because it is so simple. How do you stop negative thoughts? You plant good thoughts!
When you try to stop negative thoughts, you are focusing on what you don't want - negative thoughts - and you will attract an abundance of them. They can never disappear if you are focused on them.
The "stop" part is irrelevant - the negative thoughts are your focus It doesn't
matter if you are trying to stop negative thoughts or control them or push them away, the result is the same. Your focus is on negative thoughts, and by the law of attraction you are inviting more of them to you.
The truth is always simple and it is always easy. To stop negative thoughts, just plant good thoughts! Deliberately plant good thoughts! You plant good thoughts by making it a daily practice to appreciate all the things in your day. Appreciate your health, your car, your
home, your family, your job, your friends, your surroundings, your meals, your pets, and the magnificent beauty of the day.
Compliment, praise, and give thanks to all things. Every time you say "Thank you" it is a good thought! As you plant more and more good thoughts, the
negative thoughts will be wiped out. Why? Because your focus is on good thoughts, and what you focus on you attract.
So don't give any attention to negative thoughts. Don't worry about them. If any come, make light of them, shrug them off, and let them be your reminder to deliberately think more good thoughts now. The more good thoughts you can plant in a day, the faster your life will be utterly transformed into all good.
If you spend only one day speaking of good things and saying "Thank you" at every single opportunity, you will not believe your tomorrow. Deliberately thinking good thoughts is exactly like planting seeds. As you think good thoughts you are planting good seeds inside you, and the Universe will transform those seeds into a garden of paradise. How will the garden of paradise appear? The gameplay, now based on a hack and slash gameplay design instead of an RPG point and click, offered players freedom to jump in and out of combat with ease without complicating issues.
The Witcher 2, however, isn't devoid of growing pains. After it's release in 2011 (and despite issues, being one of the best games of the year), a number of bugs needed to be ironed out. CDPR went a step beyond a regular company and designed their own game engine for their second game, something unheard of for a company that had only one game under their hat. The story, however, takes the monster hunting out of the mix, although there are still monsters in the game, and throws us in the middle of a political thriller, again, extremely well handled and maturely done, one where our hero, Geralt of Rivia, must clear their name for he is accused of regicide.
The Witcher 2 was unique in a way that your choices, made hours before, could affect your game. "How do I stop my negative thoughts?" - is a question that I have been asked many times.

As your life!
"}]
Have you ever heard about autism? Chances are you haven't, mental health disorders are not really talked about in India as they are seen as something shameful. It is not really surprising, considering how much emphasis we put on having perfect children through whom we can live vicariously.

If you think I sound bitter about the so called great Indian family values system, it is because I am. I grew up with people who had mental disorders who were shunned by this great family system of ours, and while everyone has heard of depression, nobody talks about autism.

This, inspite of autism being common in India. Every year, 1 million people are diagnosed with the disorder. But what is it, exactly, you may wonder? I'm here to tell you about autism, these are the things you should know about.

1. What exactly is autism?

The very first result on Google gives you this: 'Autism, or autism spectrum disorder, refers to a range of conditions characterized by challenges with social skills, repetitive behaviors, speech and nonverbal communication, as well as by unique strengths and differences. We now know that there is not one autism but many types, caused by different combinations of genetic and environmental influences.'

It is a disease that can affect how a child grows up, and there are plenty of children that go undiagnosed where because their parents simply lack the awareness of mental disorders, or cannot comprehend that their so called 'perfect' child can have something wrong with them.

txt
rich_1491052844126

2. Why should you know about it?

Because more children than ever are being diagnosed with autism, and they need your help more than your scorn. Children with autism cannot socialise or interact with other people like those who have no disorders. It affects their development as a child and their personal lives as an adult.

txt
rich_1491053161621

3. What can be done?

You can start by raising awareness about the disorder and realising that it is not a disease, but a condition that requires the utmost love and care one can offer. You can also donate to Autism India or Action For Autism, or volunteer.

txt
rich_1491053345563

India needs to get over its fear of mental disorders. The state of mental health facilities in this country is absolutely pathetic, to the point of being inhuman. This isn't helped by the fact that many see the mentally disabled as lacking, and if not recognised, the child will be put through torture for not scoring enough marks in school and thus retreating further into their shells.

This must stop, and it can only stop if you empower yourself with knowledge, and pass it on to others. People with autism are normal, even if our great society might not think they are.

S.S. Rajamouli 's creation Bahubali is one the biggest and grand movies on celluloid. With a massive budget about 250 crores it is the most expensive film ever made in the history of Indian Cinema. What makes this movie outstanding is the visual effects which costed around 85 crores. This movie is a brilliant creation because nobody has ever imagined this could be made, let alone attempting it. What are your Hobbies?

A quotidian answer would be - Who has the right time for hobbies!

Hobbies have become luxuries because people cannot afford to be free in this super fast hectic era. People have fallen prey to their mundane routines and somewhere down under have forgotten to appreciate their inner self and give themselves the time they deserve. Be it cracking competitive exams, striving for admissions into top colleges, finding a job, or chasing deadlines amid corporate walls, a majority have become mechanical and monotonous.

txt
rich_1491030153951

There is very popular saying that says; "Find three things in life: one to make money, one to keep you in shape, and one to be creative." A hobby can give you a sense of self-efficacy, it can help you nurture your creativity and gives you something to look forward to.
A hobby can give you something to be passionate about. For me my passions are writing, cooking and reading.

txt
rich_1491030848428

When someone appreciates my writing, it gives a sense of pleasure and ecstasy that I cannot convey in words though I am writer. I make it a point to update my blog every week no matter how busy I am. I love cooking and baking; it keeps my brain engaged. I prefer to bake something and try out new recipes especially when I am frustrated, it helps me settle myself and come out with solutions to my inevitable problems. You need to invest time in things you love doing because it helps you get to back to work with a fresh and calm mind that eventually helps you be more efficient at work.

txt
rich_1491031470113

So if you are someone who likes writing, don't wait for the right time, look for inspiration around and start writing. Sometimes you can pen down your deep thoughts and emotions and that will make you feel more better. If you are someone who loves cooking, playing video games, reading books etc, make sure you make time for what mends your life, makes you a better person and most importantly keeps you happy.
"}]
