HYDERABAD getting warmer with the warmest tech events happening in the city
The city has created a holistic environment with dedicated entrepreneurship facilities and has also set up a robust infrastructure, both physical and technological. The city's tech parks, multiplexes and numerous corporate headquarters also contribute immensely to making Hyderabad one of the biggest and most efficient IT-Hubs not only in India but also the world. The Road to GES series creates transformative opportunities for investment and valuable people-to-people relationships, in addition to advancing a depth and breadth of inclusive collaboration to maximize the strength of cities/regions potential for prosperity.
The two of the events which I get to attend were ASIA INC500 and T-hub and ink presents route to GES2k17
ASIA INC 500 Honoured to address women leaders from different walks of life and give away Women at Work awards. The chief honourable guest was Katherine Hadda, new US Consul-General in Hyderabad. MS. Hadda is a career member of the Senior Foreign Service with 28 years of experience in policy positions in Asia, Europe, and Washington, DC. She recently served as Minister Counsellor for Economic Affairs at the US Embassy in Rome.
The event took place with a welcome address by Mr. Raghavendra hunasgi (convener, asiainc500) and Mr. Srinivas kollipara( Founder and coo T-hub) followed by the award ceremony where leaders like Archana Das (An Indian women cricketer) ,pranati khanna,……which gave me a uplift nd spoke about different difficulties they have faced and in a very smart way they have overcome it.the different panel sessions gave me lesson about how an intrapreneur or entrepreneur should take up and handle all the scenarios ,clearly gave me a difference between handwork and the smart work, One of the quote I loved when I heard was “leadership belongs to those who take it” that day was a big day to me and inspired me to be an entrepreneur myself.
The second event was a two-day event hosted by INK the "Road to GES" on Nov 26-27 in Hyderabad, India along with NITI Aayog and T-Hub. Carrying the theme "Beyond Boundaries", Road to GES featured an interdisciplinary line-up of thought leaders and entrepreneurs from emerging technologies like AI, Big Data, Blockchain, Cybersecurity, and IoT, mixed with innovations in social and cultural entrepreneurship. The two days covered in depth discussions, practices and policies that will let India leapfrog the legacy systems and move into an innovative future. I was working with the media team in this conference and was the first time I got to attend such big events, this would never be possible without the team of stumagz who really found us deserving for this .
Some of the speakers who rock the stage were
Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao Hon’ble Minister for IT, MA & UD, I & C, PE, Sugar, Mines & Geology, NRI Affairs, govt of Telangana
Jay Krishnan CEO, T-Hub
Srinivas Kollipara COO, T-Hub
BVR Mohan Reddy Founder & Executive Chairman, Cyient
Raman V Kumar Chairman, CASHe
Amitabh Kant CEO, NITI Aayog
Sashi Reddi Founder & Managing Partner, SRI Capital
Amit Goyal India Head edX.org
Amit Lodha Inspector General of Police and many more .
the entire conference got enthusiastic when Nobel laureate kailash satyarthi and Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao addressed the gathering I still remember ktr saying “Government and governance within a country like India need to be innovative and deploy ideas “also added “The world is aging but India is getting Younger” he could math with the ideas of todays generation and lit the entire conference on fire.
kailash Satyarthi addressed the audience n said “you are the unprecedented and powerful tide of change, you are the real change makers, you represent disruption, innovation, creation and combination of ideas and ideas “the way robotics and AI are growing they will bring sustainable change in society and yet we live in a world where millions of children cannot go to school
IPS officer amit lodha said ,on whome the ajay devgan starrer GANGAJAL is based, appealed to people to contribute money at bharatkeveer.gov.in ,which will be used for the wrelfares of the relatives of jawans of our paramilitary forces killed in action.
Stars like USHA UTHUP , JOI BARUA performed at the event.
A surprise panel was organized with the media stars like RANA DAGUBATI and R.MADHAVAN (and the best part was getting a picture with him)
Attending such a huge event would not be possible without the support of stumagz ,I would really thank them for giving me this opportunity.

Vibhashi khanna
Stanley college of engineering and technology for women

"}]
It is amazing how fast time flies when you're not looking, especially when you're actively avoiding not shaving for a month for No Shave November. But now that the month is over and the purpose of No Shave November must be achieved. Gather all the money you saved by not grooming your hair this month and donate them to the charity of your choice, whether it is cancer research or another worthy cause that you feel needs your money, that choice is up to you. Me, I'm going old school, donating to Prostate Cancer Fund, which is basically why the No Shave November thing came to be, a way to raise awareness about men's health issues, and prostate cancer only affects men.

That being said, the following list, including the one I mentioned above, are some organisations that can put your donation to good use and conduct active research to discover a cure for this completely unfair and deadly disease at the earliest.

To stay with the theme of donating to cancer research, the first three suggestions on this list will be related to cancer research organisations, whereas the other two will depend on what I personally believe should be most highlighted. I will also include a link at the end of the article where you can find a table with charitable organisations of different fields and their ratings. Simply pick one, visit their website and donate!

I would also like to add that donation is not mandatory but it would truly be a service to mankind if you consider doing so.

1. Cancer Research Institute:

Based out of New York, the Cancer Research Institute tackles all forms of cancer and has been a major contributor in the fight against cancer. Some of the best minds in the field work here, and they are working day and night to find a viable cure for this deadly disease.

2. Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance:

I've literally seen people with Ovarian cancer waste away in front of my very eyes. The person who got it certainly did not deserve to go out like that. Ovarian cancer is not Leukaemia either, it is something much worse which often grows to insane sizes by the time the cancer ravages the body. I strongly urge readers to consider donating to this as well.

3. Pancreatic Cancer Action Network:

If you remember, Steve Jobs fell prey to this form of cancer near the end of his days.

Pancreatic Cancer eats away at your ability to produce digestive juices to break down your food and of course, is followed by rapid and unexplained weight loss and frequent stomach aches. I strongly suggest donating to this cause.

This NGO helps the forgotten and invisible children of the streets in India to get an education and build a future for themselves in a society that has all but forgotten them. It has, since then, always been on my mind.

5. An Animal Welfare NGO:

There's plenty of animal welfare NGOs around the country for you to check out and possibly donate to, I'm dropping the link to Blue Cross Hyderabad since Blue Cross is a pan-India NGO that has been tackling animal issues for quite some time now. I'm familiar with quite a few Blue Cross Volunteers and I highly respect these people for their dedication to animals, especially abandoned dogs that are rehabilitated on their facilities and set up for adoption. There was this Great Dane once that had become untrustworthy of humans and wouldn't allow anyone to come near it, a great big sad dog licking the emotional wounds alone in the corner of Blue Cross's office. It was heartbreaking to watch.

Yes, this is back again! I'm writing about resolutions again which you know I'm going to do next month in January as well. I'm just as bored as you are about this topic but apparently people still need to be told that resolutions do not matter as much as their resolve to fix and become a better version of themselves does. The advice is going to be the same, more or less, not because I've run out of ideas, but because the ideas I've shared before work. They really work.

So how does one stick to their resolutions?

1. Start NOW:

I will shout this from the rooftops, mountain peaks, valleys and everywhere where my voice can be amplified enough to be heard by people. The key to keeping your resolutions is not waiting for the new year to roll by, but starting right NOW. Do it, wanted to ask that cute person out? Do it now! Planning on getting fit? Start NOW! Do not wait, do not think, 'oh I have time, I'll just do it from January 1st', no, screw that. Start now and don't look back.

2. Laugh at people who say keeping resolutions is easy:

I'm serious, point at their face and laugh till your stomach hurts. No, keeping your resolutions is not easy. It is a long and difficult path that requires tremendous amount of dedication that no amount of self-help books, videos, music or family's support is going to help. That motivation and discipline must come from within you.

Recognising that what you're about to start is your personal journey into self-improvement and that nothing that is worth it comes easy will make the road ahead much easier, which brings us to point number 3.

3. It's worth it because it is difficult to achieve.

If getting fit, quitting the cigarette, learning a new craft or fulfilling your dreams was easy, everyone would be doing it and then there would be no value to what you're doing. Now, obviously, everyone should be doing this, because the journey that you undertake to become the better version of yourself is one that will change you as a person, it will make you a better person and you will become kinder to those struggling along the path just as you, you'll realise that other people are just trying to survive and do their best despite their circumstances.

4. Do it for yourself.

The most crucial part of understanding and keeping your resolutions is that you have to understand, completely and unequivocally, that you're doing this for yourself and nobody else. Self-improvement has 'self' in it because you're the one that is improving and nobody else. Even if you're the least selfish person in the world, there is absolutely nothing wrong in being selfish about improving yourself. This will require tremendous lifestyle changes which you will be willing to go through with if you are selfish about improving your own life. No more night outs with friends, because you're hitting the gym in the morning. No drinking till you pass out, you've got a liver to take care of. It are the little things that matter the most.

5. Failure is inevitable, but it isn't the end.

Nobody is successful on their first trail, or their second. The road to self-improvement is fraught with the dangers of pitfalls and failures, many people (including myself) make the mistake of falling in a pitfall of failure and thinking this is where we deserve to be.

No, you deserve much better, and only you can guarantee that for yourself. So climb back out of that pit and keep going you champ, because you can do it. Keep your goal in mind, always, now and forever.

What are going to be your New Year's Resolutions? Let me know in the comments below!
"}]
The Tata family has given India industry, commerce and a legacy it can be proud of. From spawning an entire sprawling metropolis around its first steel factory to setting up hotels and companies that would go on to hire millions of Indians one day, the Tatas are undoubtedly the premier capitalists of the country, using their privilege and wealth to set up industry and alleviate poverty through trickle down economics that worked for a bit but then the rich kept getting richer and the poor kept getting poorer and the middle class, the one raised due to industry and commerce brought about by the Tatas, had to bear the burden of tax breaks for both the rich and the poor with their taxes.

But while setting up the Taj Mahal Hotel and a steel plant might have been the patriarch Jamsetji Tata's dream, it was another Tata that would carry on his legacy of bringing innovation to the country with clear cut vision of what to do next.

We're talking, of course, about Jehangir Ratanji Dadabhoy Tata, simply known to many as J.R.D Tata.

People know him for kickstarting Tata Airways that would eventually go on to become Air India, our state airliner, starting Tata Consultancy Services that employs thousands of fresh faced recruits straight out of engineering colleges and provides a ladder to climb further in the IT career, also started Tata Motors and Tata Tea, both solid ventures that are going gung-ho even today.

But did you know that he was born a Frenchman? Oh yes, born to Ratanji Tata and a frenchwoman named Suzanne Brière, J.R.D Tata is actually half French, growing up in Paris while his father shuttled between India and back. He even served in the French Army, his unit having perished just after he had left post his one year service. Later on, he gave up his French citizenship and became a full fledged Indian citizen and joined his father Ratanji Tata to help run the business his grandfather had built, except he went on to make it quite something else.

As a young man, he was dragged to court by the Police for overspending his Buggati on Marine Drive in Mumbai, the lawyer who represented him found a surprise when J.R.D. Tata showed interest in marrying his daughter, and so the marriage was held.

J.R.D. Tata is classic example of a rich boy who had everything in the world and went on to make something of himself because his privilege allowed him to have exposure to ideas that the underprivileged will never be in their entire lives. People often forget this fact. His grandfather built the Taj Mahal Hotel with a budget of 11 lakh rupees, which in today's money is a whopping 2 billion dollars. The Tatas were loaded, and that is an understatement. The struggles of the common man were nowhere close to men like him, so I don't quite understand why people celebrate the privileged bourgeois like him, but hey, this is India, we are supposed to admire and bow down to privilege.

Fact remains that without J.R.D Tata's fantastic contributions to Indian economy, we would have been a much poorer country, and for that, the entire country thanks him.

He died on this day, 29th November, in 1993, in Geneva, Switzerland.
"}]
We live in a selfish world where people use you like a dustbin and probably lesser than that sometimes. You may be surprised that I compared ourselves with a dustbin but I am pretty sure that if not today, some other day you will face this bitter truth.

If you are that kind of person who mingle with everyone so easily, get close to them easily, help them easily I assure you that you will also get hurt easily. Everyone in this world will be selfish in one or the other way. They may not be selfish always but at some point of life they become selfish. It’s not your fault to get closer to people, but if you get betrayed by them it’s absolutely your fault.

Yes, I believe in a quote that says-“nothing goes wrong in your life without your own mistake.”

When someone leaves you in the middle of the road and walks away it’s your fault because you are the one who gave that right to them to do whatever they want with you. When a person so close to your heart, does so many promises to you including a promise to stay with you forever no matter what(which no one can fulfil), cheats you and go away from your life, it is your mistake more than theirs.
I will tell you why.
When someone makes promises to you, it’s your fault you believed in them and if you were already betrayed and you are again believing it’s really a big mistake.

They leave you and go because they have found something better than you. When they do that if you go into depression that is again a mistake because when that person can leave you and go for a better life why can’t you leave the truth that they left you and move on?

Question yourself when you feel about something, Question yourself when you love a person, Question yourself when you cry for a person that do they deserve you? Do they deserve your love? Do they deserve your time and most of all do they deserve your tears?

End of the day it’s you who you want to be happy. It’s you who you want to see successful. Then why to waste your time behind all the selfish people. There will be few people who are born for you and who love you truly. You don’t have to run at their back they will automatically come to you if they really need you.

So, finally I want to say that recognise the U within yoU rather than searching for a V in the YOU which is not there.

"}]
We live in a country that has a weird way of placing things into different sectors such as normal and abnormal, ethical and unethical.

We live in a world where the permission for a night out is given only after finding out that there are all girls, but the sword points to you when you want to spend all your days and night with one girl you love.

We live in a world where making a boy sit along with a girl is considered to be a part of the punishment in primary school, and is considered as a reason for celebration years after during a wedding.

We live in a world that doesn't provide solutions for rape only when it is after before marriage because after marrying and getting raped by her husband, a magical solution of making a baby seems to solve all the problems.

We live in a world that promises to make sure that women get educated and become independent, but still want them to cook food because it is their job to do so, because they're women, not because their better halves just took the responsibility last week and this is their weekly do.

We live in a world, which looks forward to change but fails to change themselves.

This is what we do, this is what we are. We want to change, but we chose not to. If anyone disagrees, trust me, I'll be the first person to applaud and accept it. Please tell me that the next generation will be evolved. In real sense!

The Italians sure know how to make fantastic cars.

Sure they have the best of the best when it comes to supercars, but that doesn't mean they cannot make every-day use cars, this is assuming your pockets are deeper than Marina's Trench, of course. The Maserati V8 GranTurismo is a special car, it is a 4 seater with fantastic leg room, enough headspace that even cars like Honda City seem to struggle with (yes that's a thing, I'm a tall guy). There isn't a single person I've known over the years who hasn't heard of Bruce Lee. The actor and martial artist became a legend, tales of his skill were both praised and whispered about in fear and admiration. Although he did not live for long, dying at the age of 32, Bruce Lee's body of work and left behind a legacy that would go on to make him not just one of the most recognisable name in martial arts movies, but the one who kickstarted the genre, quite literally. He is the prime, the alpha, the one who came before, and his martial arts performance earned him a loyal fan following around the world.

I still recommend watching Lee's movies because of their masterful film-work. Lee laid the ground work when it comes to shooting action scenes, his movies employed steady camera work and actual martial arts which gave us movies with action sequences that felt authentic. The steady camera technique for action sequences has since then been a staple for any action movie worth its salt, later mastered by Jackie Chan and his plethora of fantastic movies (which I also highly recommend) and used to great effect in movies like The Raid and more recently, John Wick. Keanu Reeves physically embodies the role of John, complete in his physicality, by being as brutal as possible with his Gun-Fu, a mixture of using guns and Kung-Fu. The reason the brutal efficiency of this is achieved is because of the camera work. In the first John Wick movie, when goons attack his home, the final goon is killed by John in an intense scene that slowly moves closer to the knife fight with music pumping up the tension.

It does not even compare!

I absolutely love John Wick for bringing back that old flavour of steady cam shots and focus on the action itself back to movies, I mean after you've to watch Liam Neeson take 90 cuts to jump over a fence in Taken 3 you do tend to get a bit sick of shaky cam.

Watch how the shot frames Lee just off the centre of the screen and does not tend to move. The cuts in it are to only show the unfortunate students that try to stop him falling over or reaping the consequences of their actions, which serves as a form of catharsis to the viewers who are rooting for Lee. My favourite shot in the entire sequence was when he grabs the Nunchuk and turns around to face the Dojo again. Absolutely phenomenal action sequence direction and none of it would have been possible if it wasn't for Bruce Lee's immense skill.

I'm not sure if Bruce Lee knew this before his passing at the young age of 32, but his movies had political implications. Young Asian and Black men in America watched his movies, especially Enter The Dragon where the central character was a man born in Chinatown, San Francisco and had Jim Kelly, an African American actor who worked with Lee in Enter The Dragon in a supporting role. These two men became icons, heroes to be emulated and taken inspiration from. Why? Because they handled themselves on the screen with such style and suave, they showed the young men from the minorities that they too could be as cool as them. It was a white man's world, of course.

And speaking of the privileged, Bruce Lee's penchant for fighting on the screen without his shirt on, putting on display his toned body and ripped abs combined with his ridiculously fast moves inspired generations of people who wanted to learn, some went on to pay exorbitant amounts of money to do so. It inspired a culture of staying fit, first in America, then slowly over the rest of the world. Everyone wanted to learn Kung Fu, everyone wanted to learn at least one martial arts. Bruce Lee had become the peak, the Mount Everest in every man's life, he made martial arts a household name and even went on to become the biggest movie star of all time.

There was a guy I knew who once told me that everyone who works out to build their body does it partly for themselves and partly because they want to be like someone they admire deeply. I thought about what he said to be for quite some time because it does make sense that people see celebrities and aspire to be like them - there are entire industries devoted to this - but to put yourself through extensive lifestyle changes and bringing about discipline to change your entire life just because of one celebrity did not make sense to me. But then again, I've never been the kind of guy that takes his celebrity crushes seriously, serious enough to take inspiration from at least.

I can, however, definitely respect people who take inspiration from someone as inspirational and influential as Bruce Lee. It is difficult to see there ever being another Lee ever, this was an American born Asian man in a white man's world, born in a time when African Americans still did not have the right to vote and when Japanese people were put in camps post the war simply for being Japanese, overcoming the advantages of not having any privileges and going on to become not just one of the greatest, but the greatest action movie star of all time. It absolutely kills me that Lee did not live to see the kind of influence he would exert on the world.

In a way, the point about inspiration strikes to me as something that passed down the generations. Everyone who hits the gym today, who wakes up in the morning and goes running, who come back from a tiring day at work and then work the sweat off their bodies while blasting Slayer at full volume on their earphones before bed, all of us are doing it with inspiration from someone else, someone who was inspired to do so themselves by yet another person. It is like extending an arm towards you, asking you to grab on and not give up just because you think the person you take inspiration from is much ahead of you. That change takes time, but time is all it takes.

For many in the 70s and even to this day, Bruce Lee is the one extending his hand towards us.

Everyone wants to be successful in their lives. Everyone have some dreams or goals. Does everyone succeed in their life?
Absolutely no, some may get the success and some may not. Despite, having the intelligence, qualification or necessary things for the success we may not achieve what we want. This is because of our thoughts.
Thoughts create our destiny. Our thoughts have the power that are stronger than anything we could ever imagine. So,make sure whatever we think that affects our future.
There is a quote "Good thoughts bear good fruit, bad thoughts bear bad fruit " that means if we have positive thoughts on what we do then we fill our minds with light, hope and feeling of strength and soon these qualities reflect into our life and if we have negative thoughts then the negativity reflect into our life.
Negative thoughts are like heavy dark clouds hiding the sun and the sky, making the day look gloomy and threatening.
So, avoid thinking negatively, always have the positive thoughts and expect only the good to happen to you whatever the situation may be.

"}]
My childhood was fun, Tough and exciting. Riding tricycles and bicycles was the most treasureable memory that lifted my mood after those oh-so-boring homework and assignments. The best part of my childhood was filled with lovely cultural celebrations and lots of happy holidays. Out of all the festive celebrations, CHILDRENS DAY used to be my favourite. All of us know that this is celebrated on the birth date of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, our first prime minister.
For every child including me, this day is a celebration day where we all wait for competitions, cultural performance, prize distributions and biscuits and cakes to be distributed among us. we would also ask our teachers not to restrict us because it is our day. I remember those good and happy times, and those memories will be everlasting and forever Trapped in my heart.
I remember when my school principal use to address us about why is Children’s day celebrated where many of us consider it to be the most boring part of the celebration, He said “Children are considered as the building blocks of the strong nation. Celebrating this reminds us about their rights. Children are leaders of tomorrow so they need to get respect, special care and protection from their parents, teachers and other members of the family. “At that stage I really did not understand what he actually meant
I am 21 now and really miss my school days. I thank god for blessing me with best parents, teachers, friends and people around me.
Last night, when I was recollecting my school days and was cherishing them, it occurred to me that why was this day given a lot of preference, I recollected what our principle said and wondered what did I do for my nation? what did I do for those people who made every children’s day of my life memorable.
Giving it a thought I decided to meet and spend some time with the unprivileged ones and share my thoughts and experiences about this children’s day, so that by the time they come to my age they could be able to share same value” The children of today will make the India of tomorrow.”
I with my 3 other friends decided to celebrate this day with the ones who actually have amazing thoughts and talent but cannot speak and express. we visited ASHRAY AKRUTI located at sri nagar colony Hyderabad. Students from nursery to 5th were energetic and gave us a warm welcome. we conducted many competitions and gave gifts to everyone and the best part was the dance performance by few. though they cannot hear the performance may not synchronise with the music but still I would say it to be the best performance coz it shows the dedication and interest of doing and achieving some thing in life. they do not consider themselves to be the weakest but come out building new talents.
Every one over there belong to different families but, they treat each other as a family member and take care of each other very well. the million-dollar smile after they get gifts cannot be expressed. I had another best children day added to my memories
We take them for granted as unprivileged but my personal experience says they are the most talented ones and our country needs them, The fact is, most of the children don’t stand much of a chance of breaking out of the cycle of poverty and thriving as independent adults.
It’s time we let the world’s orphans—and their caregivers—know that they matter. Together, we can make a meaningful difference by empowering each and every one of them to reach their full potential.

HAPPY CHILDRENS DAY
