You can expect to get around 95 mg of caffeine from an average cup of coffee. However, this amount varies between different coffee drinks, and can range from almost zero to over 500 mg. This is a detailed guide to the caffeine content of different types and brands of coffee.

FACTORS AFFECT CAFFEINE CONTENT

Types of coffee beans:There are many varieties of coffee beans available, which may naturally contain different amounts of caffeine.

Roasting:Lighter roasts have more caffeine than darker roasts, although the darker roasts have a deeper flavor.

Type of coffee:The caffeine content can vary significantly between regularly brewed coffee, espresso, instant coffee and decaf coffee.

Serving size:"one cup of coffee" can range anywhere from 30-700 ml(1-24 oz), greatly affecting the total caffeine content.

Caffeine content is affected by the type of coffee bean, roast style, how the coffee is prepared and the serving size.
CAFFEINE IN CUP OF COFFEE:
BREWED COFFEE:
Brewing is the most common way to make coffee in the US and Europe. Also known as regular coffee, brewed coffee is made by pouring hot or boiling water over ground coffee beans, usually contained in a filter. It is generally in large, dry pieces, which dissolve in water.

To prepare instant coffee, simply mix one or two teaspoons of dried coffee with hot water. There is no need for any brewing.

Instant coffee usually contains less caffeine than regular coffee, with one cup containing roughly 30–90 mg.
DECAF COFFEE:
Although the name may be deceiving, decaf coffee is not entirely caffeine free.

It may contain varying amounts of caffeine, ranging from 0–7 mg per cup, with the average cup containing 3 mg.

However, some varieties may contain even higher amounts of caffeine, depending on the type of coffee, method of de-caffeination and cup size.
MC DONALD'S:
McDonald’s sells coffee all over the world, often under their McCafe brand.

However, despite being one of the biggest fast food chains that sells coffee, they do not standardize or calculate the amount of caffeine in their coffee.

As an estimate, the caffeine content of their brewed coffee is about:

Small (12 oz): 109 mg

Medium (16 oz): 145 mg

Large (21–24 oz): 180 mg
Their espresso contains 71 mg per serving, and decaf contains 8–14 mg, depending on the size of the cup.
DUNKIN DONUTS:
Dunkin Donuts is another chain of coffee and donut shops that is very popular worldwide. According to one source, a small cup (10 oz) has 53 mg of caffeine, and a large cup (24 oz) contains 128 mg.
That’s almost as much caffeine as you find in other varieties of regular coffee.
"}]

67th Milestone is a multi-faceted event that hosted a broad spectrum of activities, striking mix of conventional and unconventional competitions and shows with something to offer to every individual. Organizing any event of such scale is never a cake walk for the students involved in it and that too when its your college's first event.Being in the first few batches of the university we have had our own pros and cons which made every experience a new learning.

Unlike other colleges we don't have a legacy that could get our things done nor a seed funding which could pull of a great event. All we had is the commitment and the enthusiasm to make our first fest as big as possible. Though few of us have been to the countries biggest festivals(Mood Indigo, Oasis, Rendezvous)and seen the functioning of it closely, we always new that experience won't be enough unless the student community comes together. We knew our target was not small and also estimated the effort we have to put in as we had to start everything from scratch. Right from deciding the name of the fest to documentation of proposals to designing and production everything was a challenge. We wanted to do things in such a way that the upcoming batches doesn't needs to start over again. We started off by bench-marking the best cultural and technical fests across the nation and after a lot of brain storming we finally came up with the theme and events to be conducted during the fest. Then came the biggest and toughest task to bring down the sponsors. With great support from the teaching fraternity we could convince few biggies such as Hero MotoCorp, National Insurance Company,Yes Bank etc. A fest is never complete without the audience/participants and promotions were bang on which ensures participants and general audience come to attend the competitions and the pro-nights. We had planned for USAI who was in his first India tour as our headlining act along with our very own VanMoon and Moctave in the supporting acts for our Electronic Highway i.e EDM night and for Band Patrol we had the country's oldest band "PARIKRMA" joining us on the second day of the fest and that was not the end we had so much in store for the people attending the fest. Though rain tried to play a spoil sport just with few hours to go for the fest, it could not deter the spirits of the decorations and operations team who made sure that everything was set on time. Finally it was the moment we planned and waited for, it had begun . Our college's first annual Techo- Cultural - management Festival 67th Milestone started off with the opening ceremony which begun the General secreatary saying "Mitron ! Fest Shuru Kia Jaaje![ the Modi way xD] which was followed by few short speeches from Jerry George (International Dean -BMU) and Mr Warren Patrick, CLO,Yes Bank. The day begun with kick starting its flagship events Ec0-kart , Battle Of The a bands and few other events. The events continued till the night after which even exhausted participants couldn't stop grooving to the beats of artists in house. Day 2 started off with Theater Phantamonica , which left the audience thinking for a while with their thought provoking performances which was followed by crowds favourite Beat the street where the participants left them spell bounds with their mind blowing acts. Later in the night we had Parikrama(Band Patrol) in house leaving us with some beautiful memories. The 3rd had the most anticipated of the fest i.e Fashion crave which once again had some thought provoking acts with themes of body shamming, no to sexual abuse etc . The day also had some fun filled events like zombie hunt, virtual stock market, ad mad,BMU picthers, Gaming Arena etc. The day also had some big names like Kunal Kapoor ( actor) and Dr Anirban Ganguly in Koham. All the four days of the festival saw some intellectual talks and some heated debates as a part of MyTalk and Koham respectively. The day ended with Final race of ecokart which was a visual treat to people out there and was later followed by Ecokart closing ceremony. The last day of the event saw Nitro surge where the audience stuck there to see the drifts performed by the drivers. We also some intense scenes in robo wars which was later followed by Drone show and competition. The laughter toll plaza marked the start of the closing ceremony and the three artists in house all the people out there laugh out their stomachs and finally ended leaving behind some beautiful memories.

4 days ,32 events, 3 pro-nights had come to an end without any minor hiccup in between. The amount of happiness one gets after one gets after organizing such event make you forget the sleepless nights you spent working for it and its definitely worth experiencing it. With just 3 batches of students in campus if we could it sound this big and make the audience worth remembering it, I can say within no time you going to hear this name in the biggest annual festivals of the country. Being part of the team that has organized its first ever annual festival was a wonderful experience which gave me tons of lessons and memories worth remembering.
"}]
I can only feel sad for the people that missed the incredible Day 2 of Carpediem VIII, the god of all fests at CBIT. But worry not, stuMagz was there, and we shot a video covering the events, one that you can find below.

That being said, the events that transpired, and Nucleya's signature gigs made this a night to remember and we can assure you, this will be spoke about for a long time.

Now pay attention, this article took a bit of research and is kind of important, considering how much of a barrier students build against professors in India, but not out of spite, but out of fear and previous experience with other people in a teaching position that abused their power over the student, giving rise to resentment of every teacher, professor and lecturer out there.

So, over the period of the last couple of days, I've been speaking with professors of various colleges in and around Hyderabad, speaking about student behaviour, what they wish students knew beforehand, and how students can come through and excel in their field, and this list right here is a collection of the most common thing all these professors spoke about.

1. Yes, they are approachable, you have nothing to fear

While there are many professors who go out of their way and seek out students who need help, the most common thing about students all professors agreed upon was that many of them are hesitant to approach, whether it is fearing what'll happen or just good plain old laziness (which often is a result of many factors, and needs an article of it's own). All the professors I spoke to were consistent in saying that they are approachable, and if students have any questions they should come to them without fear.

2. It is okay to falter, but don't make it a habit

Your professors obviously expect you to do well in your exams, but they also know for a fact that perfomance can and will falter sooner or later. A professor detailed this at length where he told us the story of a student, a brilliant mind who always aced his exams, getting low scores in one subject and going into an uncontrollable spiral, being miserable all the time and cutting himself off from his friends. It is okay to screw up occasionally, but don't let it keep you down, because we are all fighters.

3. Your professors are humans too

Humans, by definition, are emotional beings that are also driven on logic. While professors I spoke to unanimously agreed that taking out emotional anger on students is wrong, there is no telling what may happen because emotions sometimes don't run on logic. Your professors, too, have a life of their own, families to take care of, don't discount their experiences because of what you perceive of them.

4. Listen to them

You, the student, may not want to respect your professors, maybe because you're the kind of person that believes respect must be earned not given blindly, your professors acknowledge this and only have one thing to say: Respect is secondary, listen to what they say in class, and listen to their advice, an advice for the ages. The professors, obviously, have more experience than you in the subject they teach and life in general, you, the student, don't have to agree with them over everything, however, listen closely to what they say when it comes to the subject they chose to teach.

5. They know when you're using cellphones in class

No, you're not a ninja, invisible from the eyes of the person teaching the class from a place they can see everyone. It's kind of hard not to notice when someone's attention is not towards the class but somewhere else, say the professors, at this point, seizing the phone or not becomes a matter of personal choice, so you'd better thank your professors for being awesome.

An excellent mic is a must for people who like to record themselves singing, making YouTube videos, recording performances and hosting a podcast, for instance, and if you are like me and were looking for a really good microphone that doesn't cost you a bomb, Blue Microphones Snowball iCE is the perfect product for you.

As someone who does livestreams the games I play, a good quality microphone was essential to make sure my voice is crisp and clear on the stream so viewers get to listen to what I say without a lot of background noise, with the mic being sensitive enough to pick up multiple voices from different people in the room if I wanted to record a podcast. After much research and being shocked at the prices of studio grade mics, I chanced upon the Snowball iCE, and bought it immediately.

The Good:

Not only does the Snowball iCE look cool on your desk, it comes with a stand that is detachable, a long USB cable that can be plugged directly to any computer of your choice, even a Mac, if you are recording songs to edit them later. The mic is great for picking up instruments, and has enough noise cancellation for your voice to be crisp and clear.

The Snowball iCE stands out among microphones, the retro Blue logo on the front covers a wire mesh, which in turn protects its mic capsules from being exposed to too much noise, a red light at the top indicates whether it is connected to the computer or not, and the back (if there is a back to a spherical object) contains the port to connect the USB wire, which is connected to the device you wish to record on. It comes with a tripod, which has adjustable height thanks to the flexible legs, and considering the shape of the mic itself, the use of the tripod may be mandatory for some users, depending on their setup.

The build itself is incredibly sturdy, a well built mic that can be, if needed, used roughly, but I would not recommend that. It is worth mentioning that the Snowball iCE is Blue Microphones first consumer grade mic, first revealed and released in 2005, and since then it has consistently been a great microphone to own for a price that doesn't burn your pocket, and get nearly studio level audio recordings. Of course, the company's Yeti mic blows iCE out of the water, but considering it's price range, it is one of the best for the buck.

The Bad:

I can't really think of anything to complain about with the Snowball iCE, I've had a blast using this mic for streaming and recording conversations, my friends have reported my voice coming through crisp and clear as if I'm right next to them and not like it used to when I used my HyperX Cloud II's detachable mic.

However, if you're a professional musician or are on the road to become one and need a good quality mic, this one is not for you. Apart from the USB port, the Snowball iCE does not offer any other audio output ports, neither does it come bundled with a recording software. This mic was built with the sole intention of selling it to people not well versed with the technicalities of the sound production world, and while plug and play is a boon for consumers, it is not that great for power users and professional musicians.

Final thoughts:

That being said, the Snowball iCE is still an excellent microphone for the occasional musician, it does it's job by picking up voice and instruments with ease, the highs are great and the lows are simply fantastic, I could speak from across the room and it could pick up my voice and relay it clearly. If you aren't a power user or a professional musician with a full fledged studio, this is the mic for you. It's a must buy, because for this price range, there is no better mic.

While some job interviewers take a fairly unusual approach to interview questions, most job interviews involve an exchange of common interview questions and answers. Be it an admission into a B-school or a job interview there are a set of similar questions asked. Interviewers expect you to answer these questions smoothly without panic. Make sure you do not give a rehearsed answer. Here are some of the most common interview questions, along with the best way to answer them:

txt
rich_1490441787346
1. Tell Us A Little About Yourself:One of the most common questions asked in any interview. The idea behind this question could be to know some interesting questions that your resume does not reveal. Mostly this is the first question the panel would be asking you, so it is your responsibility to channelise the interview in a direction you want to. So tell them interesting details about yourself. And prepare yourself for cross questions from the details. So by tactfully telling them things only you want to tell them or things you are strong at is the hack to nail this particular question. Try and tell them details they find relevant to the required profile.
txt
rich_1490441273973
2. Where do you see Yourself in five years:Answers to this question go one of two basic ways. Candidates try to show their incredible ambition by providing an extremely optimistic answer: "I want your job!" Or they try to show their humility by providing a meek, self-deprecating answer -"There are so many talented people here. I just want to do a great job and see where my talents take me."Either of the answer will not impress the interviewer, make sure your answer is optimistic and practical as well. So if you are a fresher the most suitable answer would be "I want to see myself in the in the middle level management in five years and aspire to grow more in my professional career.

txt
rich_1490441852336
3. Why do you want this job: Now go deeper. Don't answer to earn more money or to make a lucrative career. What are your biggest strengths and Weaknesses: Your resume and experience should make your strengths readily apparent, yet they would ask you this question to make sure that what you have written in the resume is true. So make sure you are familiar with what you have written in the resume. Provide a sharp, on-point answer. Be clear and precise. If you're a great problem solver, don't just say that but provide a few examples to validate. In short, don't just claim to have certain attributes -- prove you have those attributes. Same is with weaknesses; try and tell them how you have or are planning to overcome your inherent flaws.
txt
rich_1490442358223
5. What questions do you have for me: Don't waste this opportunity. Ask smart questions, not just as a way to show you're a great candidate but also to see if the company or the B-School is a good fit for you -- after all, you're being interviewed, but you're also interviewing the company. But make sure you don't seem over confident and aggressive. Try and make in impression, don't ruin your interview with blunt and silly questions.
