In my travel i met a kid ,he seems to be very introvert. In my 3hours of journey he just remained silent for almost 1hour and i started talking to him and he said me that i'm not this once upon a time.He said me i'm a very hyperactive kid who used to tease my friends ,miss my homework ,receive punishments from teachers and get scoldings from parents.I used to always enjoy my life but then i understood all people around leaving me.

txt

Growing up, thousands of young graduates dream of achieving what they really want to! Then reality sets in!

A young graduate had presented his electric bike during a project expo held in Hyderabad. Electric bikes are pretty common in this digital world! What if I told you - he had come to the event on the same bike and it's been his companion to college everyday. An electric bike at the age of 21! Isn't that an achievement? There were many innovative prototypes, but this - was a legit working model!

txt
rich_1568051542342

He was full of life and keen on working on his brain child. With many other breathtaking ideas, all of us were sure that this young startup enthusiast has a long way to go! Being an innate curious learner he never hesitated to accept the facts unknown to him.

Six months down the lane, I get a message saying, this guy committed suicide because of depression and stress. It was a nightmare! Little did we all know that there was so much pain wrapped under his contagious smile!

He wanted to live a life of fulfillment, influence many and create wonders! But - That day never came.

txt
rich_1568051542343

It's heartbreaking to see people break. We May Never Know When Someone Is Suffering.

There are many around us who might be suffering. The list does not even account for the number of people we see daily, in our lives, who may be suffering from a form of depression.
It’s incredible to think that one word, gesture or action can affect someone when it comes to such thoughts. Or the possibility that a smile, hug, or a kind word or two could be that one major push a person may need to overcome their inner obstacles.

Its a two way process! People fighting with their inner obstacles should know that they're not alone. They're not worthless. And there are people who love them deeply . We should collectively evolve in moulding an optimistic environment! With a mindset that everyone is learning and doing their best will spread positivity. Failures and difficulties should be best viewed as opportunities for growth.

"}]
As a child growing up, I often felt trapped between the mountains and hurdles I never thought I could overcome but, today looking back I don’t question how I survived them. Because, I came out braver and stronger and now I know I can move any mountains trying to block my path.

I always wondered was “ I good enough” this is something that made me doubt myself, made me sense loneliness when I was surrounded by people, feel less loved when I was being showered with blessings and feel like I was losing my self-every day. This became my battle and trying to win was not easy.

Did I ever share this? No! Because I was afraid that if anyone other than me knew it would become real, it wouldn't just be a thought in my head it would become a "TOPIC" So, I kept it all in! But this just bottled up inside me and I decided to open up, slowly I started talking and started sharing my insecurities with the people I trusted and with my family it took time and a lot of courage, but all my fears started disappearing I started to see clear and realized that it’s all going to be okay no matter how broken or alone I felt, It doesn’t last forever.

I have no idea what you are going through or what kind of battles life has given you, but what I do know is that you are a champion and a fighter everything you are feeling right now embrace it cause it won't last this is not the end for you but it’s only the beginning. It’s the beginning of your best years, hold on!

So, what I did was I focused on myself, which was difficult, but not impossible I started taking it one day at a time. I learnt that, my strength was greater than my weakness and I tried to be better than I was yesterday and now I know "I’m better than okay"!

Without a doubt I can tell you this, it’s okay not to be okay, but it is not okay to stay that way, fight your battle even if it’s with yourself, your choices can affect you in ways you cannot comprehend.

Every second we are given choices and that choice can either make or break you.

"}]
As a state of extreme grief and all-encompassing sadness, depression, if left untreated, may lead to a deliberate murder of oneself, suicide. Depression affects individuals with out discriminating against race, gender, or age, yet among adolescents, the incidents of depression have increased significantly. Such an increase is the potential cause of the rise of suicide rates among adolescents. Therefore it is imperative to treat depression before attempts of suicide are made, for if neglected, such attempts could become successful.

Stress is the leading cause of mental, otherwise called emotional or nervous, breakdowns, which in return can cause depression. Every one of us at some point in our lives felt helpless. And we overcame the hurdles which kept us down and we are now having a good life. When it is darkest, we can see the stars and this kind of approach is needed for everyone, life throws challenges at us and it is not fair to quit the game.

According to WHO data, the age-standardized suicide rate in India is 16.4 per 100,000 for women (6th highest in the world) and 25.8 for men (ranking 22nd). The majority of suicides (37.8%) in India are by those below the age of 30 years. The fact that 71% of suicides in India are by persons below the age of 44 years imposes a huge social, emotional and economic burden on our society. The near-equal suicide rates of young men and women and the consistently narrow male-female ratio of 1.4: 1 denotes that more Indian women die by suicide than their Western counterparts. Poisoning (36.6%), hanging (32.1%) and self-immolation (7.9%) were the common methods used to commit suicide. Does this ranking make us proud? not. Most of us can hardly imagine the suffering that precedes suicide and the pain left in its wake.

When the person who dies is young, the devastation is even more profound. One who suffers from depression may think about and or attempt suicide because of the extreme emotional pain and hopelessness they feel. And this can be cured, everyone comes from different family backgrounds and most of the time they are ignored and not valued as they expect from their parents. Suicidal tendency is real, depression is real, and society should start acknowledging the need of the hour and help people.

The scenario in our country's agricultural sector is very bad, the farmer's suicide rate in India had ranged between 1.4 and 1.8 per 100,000 total population, over 10 years through 2005, however, the figures in 2017 and 2018 showed an average of more than 10 suicides daily. The government should come up with something so this rate must be 0, loosing 10 farmers a day is like loosing 10 chefs in a restaurant.

The saddest part is we are taught math, science, and later on mainstream graduation subjects, but I always wonder why didn't they teach us how to handle rejection, hate. It's never late to seek help. We don't have the right to kill ourselves, that is the biggest sin ever and it is unforgivable. If you lack the motivation to live, think about the orphans who lost their parents, and accident victims who lost everyone and everything. And we are privileged to have all the amenities that we need to live a great life.

On the occasion of Suicide Prevention Day, let us raise awareness and prevent suicides.

Never never never give up!!!

In addition to these 10 reasons, there are so many more, including decreases in pain thresholds, the relaxing nature it provides to patients before and after surgery, increasing memory pathways for patients with Alzheimer’s, the improvement of recovery time for patients who suffered a stroke, the ability to keep your brain healthy in old age, to name a few. Music really does serve as a therapy for all, whether as medicine in a hospital or a heartache on a rainy day.Our scientific understanding of the effects music has on our brains is only starting to take shape; there’s still so much more to learn. "Art is touched by the heart. I feel what I see and then draw what I feel." Art comes naturally to Adithya Vanga, it's an inborn talent passed on by his father. The confident young man tells us that art to him is a form of expressing his feelings. The intensity of the art depends on his mood like, nature for when he is happy, expressions for when he is sad, and don't even ask about when he is in love with someone... He just manages to recreate the exact image of the person without even having to look at their pictures and without having to erase a single mark. This friendly person started off sketching with grids, but now he has become so well versed with his talent that he does it all free hand. Sketching is a spontaneous act for him and all he requires during sketching is isolation and peace. He feels accomplished after he finishes his pieces. Do you have a problem in life, No, Then why worry!

Do you have a problem in life, Yes, Can you do something about it, Yes, Then why worry!

Do you have a problem in life, Yes, Can you do something about it, No, Then why worry!

If you are a living being, then it is obvious to face several problems over a while. It may be financial, family, personal life, or anything as such. With god's grace, I never faced any issue that serious, but I will give you all a few examples where I have seen people overcome it.

My uncle(Babai) was the one and only reason for my paternal grandmother's survival, unfortunately, he expired five years go in an accident. She lost hope and cried like hell for a few months, but it was not the end of her life, she has got new hope now to see my successful future.

Recently, My maternal grandfather expired, he was the whole world for my grandma, she was completely dependent on him for each and everything so much that she never knew how to bargain vegetables, or to buy something going out, but now she is doing it herself and she has also got a new hope to live to see my uncle(mama) settling in life.

My neighbor attempted suicide a few months ago as he was facing horrible financial issues as he lost his job, and was surrounded by debts and his house being seized. However, he was joined in hospital and his life was saved and a 2 days later where he was still in the hospital he got the news that his son secured a good job, so he managed to pay the loan interest after he has got his first salary, paid it and got their house back.

My maid was divorced with her husband a year ago, but she is still a strong lady leading a royal life, being able to educate her two daughters with her hard-earned money.

And the recent issue, where we have seen intermediate students committing suicide for scoring fewer marks is pathetic. I agree students life is filled with anxiety, fear of backlogs that would further affect the career and placements and various other causes that would make them fall prey to suicides, but remember that Thomas Alva Edison, became a scientist after he was thrown out from the school. We never know what God has planned for us in the future. Be patient and wait for the right time to come to excel yourself.

When the above-mentioned people can overcome such horrible situations, you as a student have no big problems as of them as failing in M1 or not securing a placement is not the end as we still have many other ways to survive and mamy more opportunities to come. If God closes one door he has another one that is opened for you. Just wait for your time!!

In all the above cases, people were facing various problems but hope was the driven element that made them lead a successful life today. Whatever may be the situation, life should move on... Instead END means not the end but EFFORT NEVER DIES.

The main reason for a person to commit suicide is to lose hope and finding no reasons to live anymore. I only wanted to tell one thing to all such people is that you get a human life only once after many decades. It is the god gifted one and you have no right to end it before he thinks to do it so. self-killing is the biggest sin that will haunt you for years and years after re-birth also. No matter you may reach out to the toughest challenges in life overcome them with courage. A soldier who was killed in the battleground is praised and respected, unlike the ones who ran away from it.

You may be in darkness today, but I assure that you will see the sunshine one day. Everyone will experience springtime in their lives not just once but over and over and believe me that springtime will always be a celebration.

Just think positive and as we have seen in one of our megastar movies, if a girl is gone from your life you will get another better one(Ma colony Loki Aishwarya ochindhi:))

Finally, I conclude saying that suicide is not the answer as the soul is eternal.

As tomorrow(i.e September 10th) is world suicide prevention day, I would be grateful if at least this article of mine could save one person's life by gaining him/her hope and everyone reading this article please help the people whom you see around in depression and anxiety to overcome it by motivating them or by helping them meet a counselor to come out of it.

Every Monday morning, I think of what to write ever since I started these Monday blogs and I was doing the same today. I was wondering about which experiences of mine that I can talk about today when I came across something called World Suicide Prevention Day, which is tomorrow, i.e. September 10. That got me thinking about a classmate of mine when I was in my first year of engineering. This girl committed suicide because she failed M1. It was disturbing for me and more so, because this person was just one roll number ahead of me.

The education system in conjunction with lack of understanding on mental health issues drove this teenager, with a potentially bright future to commit suicide. To add to that, I later found out that a while after this girl’s death, her mother passed away unable to bear the sadness over losing her only child.

According to some news reports I read after I decided to write this, one student commits suicide in India every 55 minutes, if you look at the number of students who committed suicides in the recent years.

What I urge students is this, if you feel bad about something, if you feel you are depressed, please seek help. Do not hesitate to talk to someone, that someone can be your friend, your sibling, your parent, a teacher, anyone. If not that, at least use platforms like this one that let you write and vent out your thoughts. Depression is something that is being increasingly common among students owing to various factors, but please don’t let it bog you down.

There were instances in my life too, when I was a student, where the setbacks made me feel depressed and lonely. Not cracking IIT was perhaps my biggest setback when I was a teenager, more so when I saw all my friends getting into premier institutions. But later, when I paused to think and evaluated myself, I realised by networking and by taking part and winning national level competitions, I could overcome that.

I know this is easier said than done, being objective and evaluating oneself but if nothing, just pause and think. This is what I urge every student who feels depressed. If you feel there is a big problem, break it down into smaller ones. You have a huge number of backlogs, talk it out with your families and explain it to them and divide the backlogs in a way which will enable you to clear them easily. If you are worried about finding a job and you feel you don’t have any skills, just pause, think and start using student platforms to build your skills. If you have a personal problem, talk to a friend. Do not hesitate to seek help.

Life is precious and if you are a student, your whole life is ahead of you. Do not end it. Do not lose hope.
"}]
Comedy for me is like like oxygen, I can't live without it. Right from childhood I was a very mischievous boy who used to jump around. People actually used to refer me to Dennis the menace. Even in serious situations I crack lame jokes.... well that's how it works for me. I always wanted to go on stage and mesmerize people with my talent which I was not sure what it was back then. I tried singing, dancing and other stuff and realized that I suck at them. I found my inner talent, my thunder in my 10th standard when I was asked to speak something for a few minutes. I didn't know what to speak so I started cracking jokes. The response was not so good but I was happy that I was able to put up a few smiles. From then my journey was like a rollercoaster ride. I used to go to these random open mics and was able to improve myself. To be honest in the beginning I use to crack open like a raw egg on the stage, there were times where none of my jokes used to work, but hey that's the beauty of it you get to learn, improve and excell eventually. I started working on my sets and spending more time. I started to do standup in my own style which made me unique from everyone else. I had many inspirations in this field like kevin heart, Adam Devine . Indian comics like Sahil Shah, Azeem Banatwala were like my idols. Whenever I was not doing good or I needed some advice I used to message them. They helped me clear my mind and gave me advice so that I won't do any mistakes which I'll regret. Now , I find content in everything. I can make a joke out of almost anything. This was my journey till now let's see what the future beholds, what adventures lie ahead. Thank you

One fine day farmer went to the palace and met king, he asked him the permission to take atleast one fruit from his farm. The king immediately refused him. The farmer praised him. Finally king granted him to take only one fruit from his farm. But king said to accept his condition. Farmer said that I will accept your condition our majesty! Then king told him that"how many you just want to take from tree your wish but you should give half of the fruits from your bag to each of the soldier at every gate . At last you should have only one one fruit in your bag while returning from last gate. Farmer thinks and entered in to the farm. He finally won the king's challenge.
