Is being a girl is punishment? Is being a girl means losing her own self respect and still working for her family, for others? Is being girl means to spent her life in just four walls of her house.

txt

The questions above being asked are because of the irrational and undesirable behavior of men in and outside homes, which every second girl has to face daily in her routine life.

txt

Sexual harrassment could take place anywhere, at anytime, by anyone & in any form. It could happen at public places, schools, educational institutions, work place, even at home also. It indicates that it is not safe for girls to move out of their houses. They are harassed everywhere might be educational institute or work place. Even age is not a concern. Either a little school going or a middle aged lady all are in the eyes of harassers.

txt

So, it has to be stopped and the voice has to be raised against them. Where in Ramayan also, when seeta was kidnapped by Ravan. It was decided by Lord Sri ram to kill Ravana. Even though Ravana didn't take any step of harrassment towards seeta. Ravana whole dynasty was burnt by Sri ram for this crucial step of Ravana towards seeta. During to this Sri ram killed Ravana. But now in the present world, we see that a girl is sexually harass the Indian law doesn't enforce a new law of hanging the culprit. We need to take action against the rapist and he has to get such a crucial punishment where others have to think twice by doing such kind of harassment against women.

txt

I would also like to add my own experience. Like many other girls even I harassed by strangers at busstop. But then as it happened with me more than once. Firstly, I was very scared and moving forword, then I stop myself and thinking that why I am running? Where I didn't did any mistake why I am supposed to run and stop myself and get the courage to raise my voice against them. While others also supported me at that time.

txt

Others may say that women is being raped because of inappropriate dressing style but let me clear this, what about those women who weared burka, indian dress etc., They were also raped. Not only a women is facing this problem, even a small girl where they don't know the meaning of rape or harrassment. They were being raped. Until society like this prevails... We will keep on hearing the words "Don't go out alone" ,"Behave properly...", Behave like a girl etc... Incidents like this make those myths so stronger that even if we try we can't break them.. and that's the saddest part.

txt

A 6 year old girl has been raped and murdered in tank, Rajasthan. She was missing since the conclusion of a sports meet in her school on Saturday. 2019 had been a blend of various life lessons and robust incidents hitting us hard from day one. most of the people are going to agree that the year passed away in a blink, yet the year was impeccable thanks to social media and all the meme page admins and of course the meme-makers which made the promotion of various brands significantly by keeping our heads down and eyes deep into the social world.

Things in cmrit were a bit more interesting, as every year starts, this year started with fresh ideas ready to be implemented. January had been the month to bring out the creativity out of the students when a gang of 8 people from CSE & ECE departments came together and worked on a meme page which targeted the premises, the idea was later enhanced into an application for android and a prototype was launched in the mid-January.

I was trying to write an article after long time and to be honest it was falling apart. Yes, later I realized I was facing writer’s block (as everyone says it). It was nothing new, happens frequently to me. I don’t know why my mind can’t process the thoughts into words. When I put my pen onto the paper it just doesn’t budge. There are ten thousand things buzzing in my mind but why am I hesitating to give them a form?

I think there are few reasons why. Fear was the first I could think of, fear of the outcome, fear of criticism from readers, fear of not doing it right. And this is when I feel our defense mechanism comes to rescue i.e. ‘Perfectionism’. This particular instinct just makes everything even worse than before. We get on a journey to produce commendable piece of work, which doesn’t really happen.

I tried to figure out few ways on getting out of this hassle called writer’s block, better description would be paralysis of thinking. Sounds funny and ironical, right? I was facing writer’s block and now, here I am writing an article how to get rid of it.
First step to cure something is diagnosis, and the symptoms which I experienced were as below:

• Not able to formulate something that makes sense.

• Procrastinating and squandering my time, eventually postponing writing the article.

• Just getting stuck with thought of being in state of writer’s block.

• Thinking about the deadline.

Now, to control to damage and get out of this situation i.e. finding the cure, I experimented and tried the followings ways. I guess these might help you too;

• Reading a book.

• Proof reading, this was kind of win-win situation for me- Not only I got to distract myself into thinking and writing again but also I could help my friends with proof reading.

• Engage in physical activity, to get that lazy brain coordination some blood flow.

• Singing and listening to music, they for sure will help bust the pressure and focus on particular thing.

• Talk to someone close and get advise regarding the creative crisis, who knows when the light-bulb might glow.

• Gathering ideas or information, nothing particularly in sequence. Just random ideas I guess.

• Write. Yeah, just write even if they are bunch of senseless lines or even random thoughts.

• Take time, get inspiration about the topic and completely understand it.

Time and again, history has shown that students are among the biggest change-makers whether it is by innovating something or it is by questioning something and demanding for a better one. Be it the Quit India, Civil Disobedience, Dandi Salt Protest or more recently, the Telangana movement or the Jallikattu movement. Students have been the frontrunners of any massive movement demanding a change and that makes them potential power-houses of change for the good of the entire country/world.

Why am I talking about students' protests?

Unless you're living under a rock and have no access to social media of any sorts, chances are high that you would have seen and read about the student-led protests going on about the Citizenship Amendment Act, especially in Jamia Milia Islamia and Aligarh Muslim University. Thousands of students are protesting the act and there have been alleged instances of students setting buses on fire and more damage to public property, with the police there responding in a violent manner to control it. While I don't want to go into the details or take a stance on the politics involved, I do want to comment on the way students are protesting there and how it can and should be done.

If you look at the 2017 Jallikattu protests in Chennai, one thing that stands out is the way students protested. It was an entirely peaceful protest done in a democratic manner. They did not resort to acts of violence and acts that can be put under the term 'rioting'. Another example that comes to mind is how the Swedish teenager Greta Thunberg has been raising her voice and campaigning on climate change. The Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai also raised her voice and campaigned in a non-violent manner.

This is what I want to convey to students. While students are a major force to initiate and lead any change, it is important for students to understand that it can be done in the right manner, without causing any damage to anyone or any property. Here, it is also important to understand that acts of violence and rioting only result in negative consequences for the students themselves as they can be injured, arrested, jailed, or even worse.

While I was reading about the CAA protests, I came across a video of a police officer in Aligarh who urged the students to protest in a peaceful manner and in fact, he even assured them that he will be with them in the protest if it is done in a peaceful, democratic manner.

As students, please understand your own potential to cause a change and understand the right way of doing it. You can also write your opinions on stuMagz and let them be known.

txt
rich_1576498781007

Women are judged at every point of their life. Every little thing they do is judged, why? As for the answer to why different people different opinions. Some because they think women represent their house and some because they want a good guy to marry a girl. But one thing remains in common with these people they don't consider the feelings and emotions of that woman.

txt

A girl, who is determined to fullfill her dad's dream..... A girl who is the most beloved princess of a family.... A girl who single handedly earns and supports her mom's burden...A girl who even dont know what is sex... got raped.....

We know about NIRBHAYA CASE which was happened in delhi. Today, the culprits are sentenced to death after 7 years. But Is there any impact on our society? Can any girls walk into street without her grandfather or her father or her brother or her husband or her son?or Can any parent send their daughter outside without any tension?
The answer is No....we cannot.... after know what is all hapenning around us.A newspaper is never complete without a rape case. The example for this is DISHA, who was brutally raped and murdered by four people.

The 26- year old Priyanka Reddy went missing on Wednesday night and was found dead and charred under Chatanpalli bridge in Shadnagar in the outskirts of Hyderabad on Thursday morning. She worked as a veterinarian doctor in Kolluru village.

A young veterinarian doctor Priyanka Reddy belongs from Shamshabad (Hyderabad) left her home around 5:30 PM on Wednesday for some clinic work, parked her scooter at Tondupall toll plaza and hired a cab to reach to a private hospital at Gachibowli. Accused saw Priyanka while parking her scooter and made a proper plan to rape her. According to the Police, she returned to the parking area around 9:00 PM and saw that her rear wheel of the scooter was punctured.

According to the CCTV footage, two men offered her help in fixing the punctured vehicle and they took her scooter for getting it fixed. Both of them returned after a short period and claimed that all nearby repair shops were closed and they helped her by taking it to another shop, according to the Police. She was waiting for them at an isolated place where some trucks, Lorries were parked.

Priyanka called her sister Bhavya on November 27 at around 9:15 PM on discussing what happened to her. She said that she was not feeling safe and secure. Her sister gives her advice you stand near the toll plaza and be safe, leave your scooter there and take a cab if it is possible. Priyanka disconnected the call and promise her sister that she will call her soon. When Bhavya was trying to call Priyanka around 9:44 PM she observed that her phone was switched off.

After waiting for some period, her family and sister went to the toll plaza to search Priyanka, and they searched her at all surrounding areas of the toll plaza, but she wasn’t anywhere. Around 11:00 PM, they filed a missing complaint at Shamshabad police station which is near the toll plaza. The Police had filed a complaint and started doing the investigation and the next morning on Thursday Priyanka’s charred body was found 25Km away from the toll plaza

Priyanka’s dead body was recognized by the necklace and clothes she was wearing on that day. According to the CCTV footage, Police identified that four people are responsible for the Priyanka Reddy murder and rape case and arrested them.

Later, they were encoutered by police in the same spot where disha was raped and murdered. Now the justice is served. But we can't celebrate it wholeheartly. We know that the rate of this incidents is increasing for every 14 hours. Here the justice is served only for Disha but there are so many poor victims ,were justice is not served yet. There will be no change until we bring change in mental condition of these people.
We know the problem ,we know the situation ,we know the impact, but what we are doing .... the answer is candle march, tiktok videos, speech, songs against rapist.....

Some of people says that its just because of their dressing style but if a girl /women wear short clothes then it doesn't mean to seduce them. It's their choice and their body. Don't they have such a right to wear what they want?

"If rapist is shot dead on the street, the rape cases will come down"-said by Nirbhaya's father. I agree with it because when we create a fear in society, we can achieved it or atleast we can control it. The government have to take serious action on rapist. They should be hanged in the streets. This is my option. It may be wrong in other's option. Everyone has different options it is based on their knowledge ..... WHAT'S UR OPTION....?????

txt
#MyTakeOnDisha

As we all know about this incident which has happened on 27th of November. Yes, Priyanka reddy, a veterinary doctor who got raped by 4 men. No, the 4 men raped her.

Before this happened that girl was scared by looking at them and called to her sister. What is pity thing is her sister couldn't suggest her properly. Her sister just advised her to go to the toll plaza and even she couldn't have enough time to speak on call when she is in danger. And they are many ways, her sister could make a video call and take an immediate action but she didn't do. The girl can make a call to her father rather than calling her sister so that her father may come and also she could share her live location to anyone or she can move to toll plaza without shy. I don't understand what this education made her? What this doctorate taught her?

Before talking about a girl, first of all we discuss about parents. A parent should be friendly with their children and a girl should feel free to talk about anything with them. Family is the most important thing every girl's life. So, parents should be free and friendly with them. And the second thing is society, Yes I agree girls should follow some traditions and culture in India specially. Girls should wear proper dress, it shouldn't affect boy's mood. Girls can do anything and everything but at the same time they should thing about their family, culture, status etc. And the third thing is movies and social media, frankly in india there is no movie got hit without a kiss in it expect historical movies. This became a rule that every movie should have at least one kiss in it. And majorly alcohol, the actors in movie drinks alcohol and we can see a caption below "alcohol is injurious to health" then why to consider that seen in the movie. And the forth thing, to be frank when modi became PM, he banned all the porn videos and there is no specific prostitution place for boys as a result such boys are harassing women and such incidents happens. And fifth thing, our government, I think the politicians are awaken only at the election time. when this incident happened, our KCR should respond on this but he after knowing this he went to marriage in Delhi without responding. and police, I accept the police cannot follow each and every girl but at least if they get any complaint they should take part as their duty.

Now talking about a girl, a girl should be strong enough to save herself from evil. A girl should dress herself properly. If a girl feels uncomfortable she should call to emergency and move to a safe place. And if you are going to outskirts or long distance you should share your live location to your trusted person. Most important we should never encourage a boy until your parents agree with him for friendship. There are few boys who always looks after their satisfaction. Not all boys are same. A girl should be careful and she should behave accordingly with the society and family pride.

Coming to the disha encounter, I'm not complete happy with that just because it has done before court judgement. Entering into the point we cannot see the things clearly with the help of torch light. The victims said they've placed her things in specific place. The police immediately started to see those things at 3am. In the early morning that too in this season in that mist we couldn't see exactly. And the police said the victims attacked some of the police and the police encountered them on spot. Maybe the victims has to be pre-planned to attack or the police have been pre-planned to encounter them. Also the victim may done a mistake but no family encourages such things. Before the encounter i.e while they're in cherlapally jail, the would have make them to meet their family once.

People make many mistakes when they're drunk. Because, drinking alcohol makes our-self unconscious and we don't even know what we are doing and what we are talking. This alcohol should be banned. But this won't happen because a state depends on alcohol. A state earns money through alcohol. For each and every development of state, the central offers only some percentage of money and the other way of income is this alcohol. If they ban this, the people from this state imports that drink from other state thus the other state develops. As a result it won't get banned. The thing is if the person drink he/she should be conscious and shouldn't hurt anyone.

I'm not encouraging the victims also I'm not degrading priyanka. The incident, investigation, judgement, encounter everything made a small mistake some or the other way.

I hereby declare that, this is my take on disha encounter and there is no intension to hurt or insult anyone.
"}]

Finally I got seat,I Sat the feeling was unpredictable.I though like I was in heaven.By looking outside through window, listening to music and seeing nature, it was the wonderful feeling. The best way to experience the divine is through the nature.Headphone plus favourite song plus window seat equal to Heaven.

txt

Is being a girl means to spend her life in just four walls of her house ?

txt

The question above being asked because of the irrational and undesirable behaviors of men in and outside of homes, where every second girl has to face such situations daily in her routine life. This kind of unexpected behavior is know as sexual harassment.Sexual harassment includes inappropriate touchings, comments about your body, spreading rumours ,remarks, dirty jokes or stories, grabbing, rubbing ,pinching and many more.

txt

The victim's of sexual harassment are mostly girls or women. It indicates that it is not safe for girls to move out of their houses. They are harassed every where might be it an educational institute or workplace .Even age is not a concern.Either a little school going girl or a middle aged lady all are same in the eyes of harassers.

txt

The main two reasons why women's are lack of self-confidence is ; 1st one is the way in which men and women are brought up in India strongly influences their behaviour in an arganized way.women often lack of self confidence because of the way they have been socialized and are customized to suffer in silence. And the second main reason is due to fear factor.

I would like to clear the situations which girls have to face at different places by giving a true example, which I experienced. One day when my college was finished I took a bus like millions of others do.I was comfortable being travelling alone because I'm the only one coming to college from far place.Even when I was a child,I was sent alone to stationery and to bring groceries from the market, whereas other girls of my age were not allowed to do that. So,I was standing in the bus as usual the bus was full of passengers.Suddenly I felt like someone was touching my hands and making weird sounds.I thought that I was in the girls section so someone might be chi-chatting and that to the bus was full. After 15 minutes I still felt the same. Then I turned back and saw one guy was standing back of me and he gave a weird smile.I was feeling uncomfortable,I didn't said anything to him and went away from there. Then I went and stood near the bus driver's seat, there also he came and asked me "dhiguthara"("would you like to get off the bus").I was frightened and I said yes and I got off the bus.I took another bus and I sat .After 5 minutes the same guy came and stood near me and he was touching inappropriately.I was very angry and I asked "what is your problem?Don't you have sister's at home?" And then I complained to the conductor. He slapped him and warned him strictly. And everyone in the bus scolded him and threw him out off the bus.

txt

Through this what I want to say is that if I was able to scold him in the first bus,the he wouldn't come to the second bus and to this to me.Every second girl in the world has to face such situations daily.Sexual harassment is illegal. If a girl is being harassed then she need not to be afraid but try to fight against it and get the harassed punished. If she is being sexually harassed then she should tell Some one who could help her as I did.

txt

So guys whatever happens with you react then and there itself.Stand up,speak out and take back your life. You are not to blame. If you want something done right,do it yourself."BE LOUD BE PROUD".

txt
I was walking down the street covered from head to toe,

So that society had no reason to say

Oh! This girl is just putting on a show,

Isn't this my world just as much as it's yours

So why should I be the one not allowed to roam late at night?

Why should I be the one to cover up my skin and wear on tights?

And above all, why should I be the one to take the blame when a man has no shame?

When I was touched, looked at or spoken to in a sickening manner

these formed scars,
Scars that remind me to fight- to fight

So that my future daughter can walk fearlessly even when strange men are in sight.

For every girl, young and old it doesn't matter what you have been told;

You need to fight and believe in your rights or the rapist out there will win our fight.

Every man out there who hurt a girl,

you better repent or you will be fate's next victim.

If you want to touch a woman you ask for her permission or,

I promise one day it will be my life's mission to see you rot in the darkest prison.

I am the target it's my word against yours

So get off your high horse;

Because this is my world just as much as it's yours...
"}]
