“Rape is the only crime in which the victim becomes the culprit”

Why is it always a woman’s fault when she gets violated? Why is it always a woman’s mistake if she parties late night? Why is it always a woman’s blunder when she wears short clothes? Why do people teach a woman how to defend herself, when she encounters a situation like rape instead of teaching a man how to bloody take their sight away and throw into the gutter nearby, if a woman is walking past them?

Many unanswered questions, unheard cries, also the emotions being ruined, stabbed and cremated – from a few months old baby to a 90 year old woman… When will these barbarians fumble with even a mere thought of sexually abusing someone? Will they ever realize how painful is that trauma which occurs within a girl after being abused? It will never be the same for a girl; she will never look at her body, like a mere body. It will just remain a wound… a wound which can never be healed. If they do understand it, there will be no movements like “#MeToo” and no girl will ever hesitate to be the way she wants without the fear of being judged. Alas! I can only hope. It is truly said that for a woman, her dignity holds much higher priority than her life – and these beasts are leaving no stone unturned to destroy it.

Recently, a 7-year old kid from Pakistan, Zainab Ansari, who was returning from her Quran tuition classes was abducted, raped and sodomised before strangling her to death. Reportedly, that brute tried to consort with the girl – ‘cause there was no sign of fear on her face... kept her kidnapped for 3-4 days, molested her, choked her to death and then threw her body in a heap of trash. Why? She wasn’t wearing any kind of revealing clothes. She also didn’t invite him to molest her. She wasn’t even trying to seduce him. She was for god’s sake, a kid – a bloody school going kid. She wouldn’t even have thought that the “good uncle” she was going with, will turn out to be the monster that’ll eat her up. As they say, smaller coffins are the heaviest - Zainab's one is so heavy that the whole world is struggling to lift it.

No matter how they will execute him, he will never understand the pain that he caused her and probably enjoyed it as well. To the maximum, the government arrests him, feeds him until his naturally occurring death and cremates him while cursing him. I will actually be surprised if they catch him in the first place… Cause my dear judiciary, I don’t trust you anymore. In fact, I cannot afford to trust anyone because I'm a girl, rightly so. Not only me, I advice every girl to not trust the word - Trust. It’s just a myth.

1515830026397
txt"}]
When you're feeling alone surrounded by many shadows, I want you to breathe.

When you're crying on a silent night yet it goes unheard, I want you to breathe.

When the stars doesn't grant your wishes and things turned out to be the opposite, I want you to breathe.

When the music fails to translate your raging emotions into a beautiful hymn, I want you to breathe.

When your favourite movie makes you feel nothing, I want you to breathe.

When you cannot greet each morning with a smile, it is perfectly fine, just breathe.

When the love you've given away doesn't revolve around, I want you to breathe.

When you're starting to resent the dawn for its wonderful start and envy the twilight for its beautiful ending, I want you to breathe.

A gaggle of girls stands in the corridor of the school chattering among themselves. Students give envious glances as they pass by them and Swathi is one of them. She studies in the same class as them. She craves the friendship they have despite the lack of depth to it. Who wouldn't?. Being a loner in the class takes a toll on a person's emotional state. She lacks the perfect grades like them. She isn't interested in gossiping about others, which proved to be the key point in forming a bond with them.

The school bell rings signaling the end of the break. Students reluctantly shuffle into their classrooms and await their teacher's arrival. One half of the class is divided into five rows with five benches each. The other half has the teacher's desk and the blackboard. Few boys play cricket with a writing pad and paper balls near the desk. Cheering them are the elite girls of the class. Mohan excitedly enters the class and announces, "The teacher will be late due to some work".

Whoops of joy fill the classroom whereas Swathi lets out a dejected sigh. She enjoys the English class of Ms. Anu who conducts fun activities and firmly believes that it will bring out the creativity in her students. And she is the favorite teacher of Swathi. Taking out the English textbook from her bag, Swathi sets to read the next lesson. Quite a few moments pass before she senses a change around her.

The noise has reduced drastically that she glances to check the reason for it. Shraddha, one of the toppers and the elite girls is imitating someone at the front of the class.

"Ma'am, I do not know the answer to the question", she imitates in a shrill voice. She acts dramatically as a shame-faced student. After a couple of seconds, she bursts into laughter. "How can a girl be that weird?", she continues. "She is the dumbest girl I've ever seen. People like her are a liability to their family."

It takes few seconds for Swathi to realize that the 'she' they are discussing is her. She goes pale as the rest of the students point at her and mutter among themselves. She is mortified as she listens to the snide comments made by them. Trying to remain as inconspicuous as possible she shrinks into herself.

After fifteen minutes, Ms.Anu enters the class and the students quiet down. She gives a toothy smile and greets the students.

"Every person is unique and proficient in different works. A student's marks do not indicate their intelligence", she says.

Swathi smiles bitterly at the irony of the statement.
"}]
My heart pounded furiously against my ribs and my pulse thundered in my ears. All the fears for what I was about to do filled my mind. What if I do it wrong? Will I be laughed at because of it? All the doubts rose to the surface and I started second-guessing my decision. Before I lost the nerve and drowned in the doubts I took a deep breath and stood. I went to the dais and gave my speech. I stuttered a couple of times but was able to pull it off. Surprisingly, everything went down smoothly once I had overcome my initial nervousness. After the speech, the breath I had been holding in, rushed out with a woof.

Reviewing what had happened a couple of minutes ago I had realized one thing. I had worried for a lot of time about the opinions others would have if I had committed a mistake while speaking. All the worrying I had done was in vain. This realization taught me one thing and that is, to finish what you have started you should take one step towards it.

'Think before you act' is a famous quote. We do not remember it when it's important but we use it when it is quite unnecessary. In fact, we do not think but we 'overthink' mostly.

For answering with a one-word answer we hesitate quite a lot. Being right is never a condition to be satisfied. Who would punish us if we gave a wrong answer?

It is okay to be wrong as we can learn from the mistakes we commit. Isn't life all about learning from the mistakes? It is perfectly alright to be afraid. You may scoff and say that it isn't as simple as it sounds. I agree with you completely on this. When the rest could do it, why can't you?

My voice used to shake due to nerves whenever I chose to speak out. It was very rare to hear my voice in the class. I was terrified out of my mind to express myself. I believed that I couldn't do it no matter what. Sometimes I envied those who could speak so boldly without any care regarding anything or anyone.

I made a vow to myself that I would conquer the insecurities and fear and took baby steps in accomplishing it. I'm still quite far away from achieving it, yet I go on. And I pride myself on the knowledge that I could do something that many still believe to be difficult.

I could do it and am still doing it. Can you?

"}]
As long as we acknowledge that there exists a huge difference between BEING ALONE and BEING LONELY and that even definition of the term ,BEING ALONE may be obvious ,especially here in the 21st century ,then I would say that Intelligent people are more likely to be alone for several reasons.

First ,being smart usually includes intellectual curiosity that may require some amount of independent study ,which, to a really smart person ,is fun.

Intelligent people may have a hard time finding peers ,not in a moral sense ,but a social one. They usually don't expect anything from anyone else.

Intelligent people have interests that bore the hell out of a normal person ,and they must pursue these interests alone or with one or two persons of same mind set.

Intelligent people have a strong sense of metacognition. They think the way that others won't ,making them seem detached and even eccentric because they manage a busy internal agenda.

Really Intelligent people have a high degree of emotional and social intelligence .They can navigate the complex principles of interconnectedness ,sustainability and moral conduct.

They are consequently more likely to take unpopular positions on issues ,which may have them to appear hard to know when they become too earnest.

Their brains are wired in a way that they cannot explain ,and sometimes they can't convey their thoughts to others because of that ,making a lot of conversations for them seem futile ,since they don't see other person grasping the point ,and don't have energy or the means to explain it.

The more a person is intelligent and socialize with the others the less will be satisfied with his life.Or at least

that is the conclusion reached by a study of psychologists at the LONDON SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS and SINGAPORE MANAGEMENT UNIVERSITY.Undoubtedly , this statement challenges the belief that socializing and be surrounded by friends makes us happier. But, everything seems to indicate that it is not like everyone .For them , socialization doesn't take to a greater happiness and not produces greater satisfaction in life.

The researchers believe that the cause could be that these people see socialization as a high distraction that moves them away from projects and goals that ,for them ,are much more important and rewarding in the longer term.Although study conducted at the UNIVERSITY OF MACEWAN refuted the myth that happiness would be in "BLISSFUL IGNORANCE".According to these psychologists, the most intelligent people do not necessarily have a clearer view of the problems in the world that causes them angst.

The Intelligent people feel more anxiety than the others ,but not because they are deeper worried than the rest of the morals ,but rather because they brood constantly all mundane situations. It is also studied that these people get worried more often and for more things.

In any case ,every person is a world apart ,with their flaws, strengths and qualities. We must find happiness in what truly satisfies us ,whether is the relationship with other people , a hobby or a passion.YES, BOTH BY CHANCE AND BY CHOICE ,BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN THEY ARE LONELY.

When you hear the word toxic, what is the one thing that comes into your mind? It is something so harmful that it affects your life soon after you consume an ample dose of it which can eventually lead to death.

There are certain people that break and enter our lives with so much of energy and give us daily dose of motivation. But some of them give you the wrong motivation and they push you into certain heights where your limits are tested. They bind so much into your bones just like calcium. But some times over depositions can be harmful. We are indebted to them in such a way that we become their host as they slowly turn into a parasite and suck the life and interests out of you. They’re the worst case scenario, we often find a hair in our food and just by the idea of it we loathe the food we eat because it ruins the appearance and turns your digestive system into a knot. The ideal thing to do is to stay away from these kind of people because they’re simply harmful to health and they’ll be someone who’s so narcissistic in nature that they’ll play the victim card whenever a happy news is shared. People like that deserves a taste of their own medicine. Someone so illiterate and mentally backward when it comes to friendship. You’re either falling out of friendship, or you’re just better of with out them.

Your life is controlled by you, be self centered and be happy. Do not allow anybody to take charge of the console of your life. As it is only driven by you and you alone. Stay away from these people as they’re harmful and lead a happy life
"}]

If it weren't for the eye opening subject called social science we wouldn't have known about the importance of independence day and how many heroes served and slaved together to gain independence for diverse yet such a simple country.

Every year we celebrate our nation's independence on August 15. As we got ours in the year 1947. Finally free from the devastating monarchy of the Britishers. Freedom fighters served our country and toiled hard so as to attain the freedom they demanded. There are marches held by the defense academies when the President Of India. Which will be hosted at the Red Fort. Beautiful deliveries of speech are made by both the President and Prime Minister. Everyone rises up for the national anthem and a true moment is recorded.

Freedom synonyms with independence which means the act or to say according to ones wish. Which on further ado was coined into a day known as independence day, where we Indians can celebrate the idea of freedom from the sanguinivorous Britishers. It isn't like fever. It wont come to your hands easily. To obtain that you must work hard and gain confidence so that you can walk proudly saying that you've got your freedom. If a mistake happens from your side there goes your freedom faster than how antibiotics cure sore throats. Having freedom is one of a kind feeling. You know you can do anything without asking anyone as you've grown. For some of us freedom means to go against your parents will and eventually be yelled by them so as to trying to break free. We try to rebellious against them and their words. Infact we see teenagers on a daily basis getting inked which depicts freedom. When a survey was taken 70% of the teenagers preferred doing things against their parents permission as it was more of a blissful act. The 30% wanted to behave according to their parents will. There will be judgemental people everywhere but sometimes when you have a taste of your own medicine nothing really matters. are moments worth a thousand memories that are definitely worth reminiscing.

Be happy in what you have. Never try to misuse freedom because it is beautiful the way it is.

"}]
The gunshots in the distance were punctuated by the sound of a plane.

I carefully moved forward under the treeline so as to not attract sniper attention, and even if I did, I hoped they would think I'm a dead person and not shoot me. The plane was getting louder and louder until it was directly overhead, when it dropped what looked like a box on a parachute. It was headed straight to the clearing I was standing outside of.

The plane would be visible from miles, which means any survivors left on the Island has already seen it. I remember being told about this box in the holding cells before they threw us in the plane for take off. Apparently, the best gear is dropped in this box, provided you can get to it first and not die, because every person in the vicinity was sure as hell going to zoom right to it in hopes of grabbing weapons and gear from the box.

Sure enough, in the distance I saw a jeep slide out from behind the house. I briefly considered running away, but animal like instinct asked me to stay put, to massacre more people and steal their supplies before moving on so I'm as prepared as possible before the end.

I swallowed some pain killers and got to work.

I theorised where the jeep would park and it's occupants would walk towards the what I thought would be the landing spot and set a trap, much like the last one I did. I also find a bunch of Claymore mines that I set around the area, it would absolutely rip anyone to shreds should they step in front of it.

I heard the flaps of the parachute gently descending behind me, and the crunch of the leaves of 3 people directly ahead. They had proceeded on foot after leaving their jeep behind. I had to trust my traps and gamble with my life, looting the box and hoping they'd take the bait.

BOOM!

I looked over my shoulder to see a leg fly off into the distance and an inhuman scream. A trap had gone off, but the claymores were still around. Or so I thought before I heard two quick explosions from behind the box where I'd planted them. The men closing in panicked and fired bullets widely, into the air and in the jungle, which I'm certain hit a poor sod because there was a scream and then silence.

I'd found a fully upgraded SCAR-H and a .50 Cal Sniper Rifle, the kind that puts holes into the walls of an atomic reactor, and armour that was sturdier than my chances of survival. Funny, I thought to myself, this armour now is thicker than all our chances.

Strapping the 50 cal on my back, I got into position with the SCAR-H and winced as I heard bullets hitting the box beside me, clearly intended for me. I was about to dive for cover when I saw movement ahead and the man who moved out of the grass saw my attacker but not me yet. When he shot him down, I put a bullet between his eyes.

It was time to run.

And run I did, skirting the edge of the cliff ahead well within the sit of the box when a loud gunshot was followed by an intense sharp pain in my left arm. I felt blood bubbling and flowing on my arm, dazed. I turned to look my assailant, at least to see how they looked like before I would die, then I fell over the edge and tumbled straight down the cliff.
