When one of my friends riya checked her balance after 3 hours of continuous surfing in the

internet, it showed 4 rupees. She shook with anger and called the customer care. After an hour

long argument, she hung the call furiously. It was all because, her data balance was over an

hour ago but she didn't receive any notification regarding that. She was charged 200 rupees

from main balance for 45 minutes of data usage. When she converted her main balance to data

balance, she was immediately charged for that, but she haven't got any notification. Even when

she used data she was charged from her main balance. Isn’t it ridiculous?.

Most of you also

might have faced this situation. These days the service providers has been charging a lot for

calls and internet. They confuse us with their individual data packs and call costs. They don't

notify us when we are low on balance. For employees it has been a headache to manage the

mobile bills of the entire family. A working woman never has time to check her balance.

Trouble-shooting all this problems there is Cellfish, an automatic recharging robot, with an intention to

save your money. It is the result of two years of ground work. System works by holding the

history of your usage and recharges your account with a suitable pack that fulfills your needs. It

has the details of all available packs provided by the concerned network. All that we need to do

is load cash and relax. It manages your data and call costs. It also manages the mobile bills of

your entire family. You can know the balance of your family members phone and auto recharge

it with your Cellfish account by loading cash. It is the all in one solution to your mobile

problems.

Every batch has that one student who earns a name for themselves through their work, whether it is through studying or through utilising their new found freedom in college where they find out that they have the world before them and all they need to do is take a leap of faith.

"I am a failure according to our education system," laughs the 21-year old, "I refused to be conventional in a conventional society, there were entire semesters where I had no attendance. I was focusing my time on a lot of other things, being active in college instead of being active in the classroom. I've never really liked our classroom-based education."

From being a public speaker, fitness freak and traveller to being a pet lover, a graphic designer, a public speaker and a startup enthusiast, Pranay wears a lot of caps without difficulty as he juggles his academics with his extremely active life. When asked about what he thought about being the most famous student in GITAM, he says, "I wouldn't prefer 'most famous', rather I was the most active student of the college. Anything thereafter is a side effect of this and I'm glad my work is being recognised."

The world is before you, all you've to do is reach out and grab it."

While social media is usually filled with an exasperating farrago of food videos, cat memes, politics and writeups like this one, every now and then you come across a brilliant piece of work by someone that just mesmerises you and makes you want to hit the share button immediately. Having stumbled upon a video featuring a girl performing graceful Kuchipudi, choreographed to the powerful ballad Saaho Re from Bahubali 2, stuMagz set about tracing her and it turns out, she's a 21 year old MBBS student.

Yes, you read that right. The epitome of grace that you see in the cover picture above is Roopa Koduvayur, a soon-to-be doctor from Vijayawada. Having been trained in both Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi by Ghantasala Pavan Kumar, from a tender age of 5, she is now an expert in both dance forms and it's that expertise attained over a decade and a half of constant practice, that enabled her to choreograph a piece like the video below.

"The movie (Bahubali 2) is an epic and I wanted to express my love and appreciation for the movie. The song, Saaho Re, has a powerful tune and when I first listened to it, it made me want to move! That's how I decided to make a video of that song, as my tribute to the movie. Charan and Praveen supported me in making the video" says the third year medical student with over 200 performances and countless awards to her credit.

The shoot wasn't easy, as it involved shooting on the beach, in the heavy costume and jewellery and still be graceful about it. "I fell down once while doing the shoot on the beach, when I had to stand in the water and I badly sprained my leg but I still ended up finishing it. The work did pay off as I didn't expect this amount of adulation for it," says Roopa, whose aim is to see a classical dancer in every Telugu household.

The video, shot by UA Studios, garnered more than a lakh views in just a week. Prior to this, she shot another video where she did a medley of the legendary film-maker K Vishwanath's songs.

Pursuing MBBS and having this level of skill in the art forms is not an easy thing, as she explains, "My mom supports me a lot and that's how I am able to practice. I practice for at least two hours every day after college and I also want to excel in studies, so it's just because of my mom's support that I'm able to do it."

Her mom, is a cancer survivor and that is what motivated Roopa to take up MBBS. "I want to specialize in oncology and work with people suffering from cancer. Thankfully, my mom survived breast cancer but that is what motivated me," says Roopa, who also excels at studies, having cleared in first class so far. Contrary to the popular notion among parents that art forms are a distraction, Roopa believes that it's her art form that enabled her to focus more on her studies.

It's people like Roopa that serve as an inspiration to many! We wish her the best!
"}]
This isn't Paulo Coelho's best work, but it is certainly his most popular. The Alchemist is an essential read for any student with eyes to the sky and a faint smile on their lips. It's a story of adventure, love, loss and finding oneself through their journey. Coelho, who found unparalleled success through this book, also holds the Guinness record of having the most number of translations by a living author for this book.

But what really is the book about?

It's about a young boy who, like many young boys, have lofty dreams of seeing the world, travelling wherever he pleases and experiencing great sights. Except this boy is special, because he sets off on his adventure from his village in Spain and goes on to see fantastical sights, falls in love, falls out of love, gets duped, learns lessons and more importantly, lives. He learns a new language, meets powerful people, makes mistakes and the most important of all, he lives to tell the tale.

The prose is where Coehlo really shines. Written in a simple and crisp manner that is a boon for new readers, The Alchemist is perhaps the best book for a bookworm-to-be to start reading from. Coehlo especially has a knack of weaving soul touching stories through simple and easy to understand language, thus leaving a lasting impact on a large number of readers.

The book constantly maintains an air of positivity about the protagonist whose story it tells in the third person narrative. No matter what happens to the boy, he stays positive, and quite frankly such positivity can be quite infectious. This, along with the books other running themes (even if you may not agree with them) make for a narrative that flows and keeps you smiling as you turn the pages. Not the humorous smile born out of amusement, but a happy smile, a content smile.

It isn't difficult to see why this is Coelho's most famous work, the way the narrative moves from the moment it opens to the moment it closes, and everything in between, is an absolute joy to read, presented in language that is easy to read thus having the potential to reach a far wider audience. It certainly is no exasperating farrago of distortions.

I cannot recommend this book enough, it is an extremely important read, not just because of how it's written, but for the lessons one can learn from it. The thing about stories is, sometimes the written word is so powerful it leaves a lasting impact on the readers for a very long time, some even going as far as shaping their life around their new found wisdom. The Alchemist is one such book.

A known vulnerability in Windows caused computers the world over to be compromised by a RansomWare called 'WannaCry'. You may have heard about it in the news or heard your friends talking about it, but what exactly is a RansomWare and what does it do?

The What:

A RansomWare is defined as a malicious piece of software that locks access to your files and demands payment in exchange of your data being returned to you. The vulnerability has been targeting older Windows systems and Windows 10 systems that haven't been updated in two months. Victims have ranged from multiple corporations to the entire National Health Service network of Britan.

The How:

Not so long ago, the National Security Agency of the United States of America discovered an exploit in the Windows operating system that allowed them to install whatever they wished to install through a secret backdoor. As much as this sounds like a movie, the backdoor was leaked and some hackers got their hands on it.

Microsoft, realising that the NSA might have discovered a backdoor, released an update to plug that hole so it cannot be exploited, but as we are now discovering, people do not tend to update their computers all that much. The ransomware was remotely installed on users computers across 100 countries and it eventually encrypted their files, before popping the screen you see in the image above.

The Why:

Some people just like to be chaotic and destructive for no reason, also they probably figured they can make easy money by forcing corporations that rely on their computers to pay the ransom, and according to unofficial sources from my friends in the industry, some companies did pay the ransom.

The Situation So Far:

WannaCry has been stopped, but that doesn't mean more hackers will not use the same exploit to gain access to your computer. Even if you think you're not that important to be hacked, don't take the chance.

What Can You Do?

I know windows updates can be quite frustrating but make sure you regularly update your Windows PC at all times. It is of the utmost importance if you want to protect your data. Of course, it goes without saying that one must have an original copy of Windows to be subscribed to the latest updates, so don't cheap out on something you use so frequently, get original windows key, and regularly update your machine, it's for your own good.
"}]
