Bands are evolving and the Rock and Roll Bands have been dwindling and being replaced with by the Bollywood music. The clubs in Hyderabad began to follow suit and started hiring Bollywood DJs and opting for melodious music in the restaurants.

Slowly the scene is beginning to change again and 'back to rock’ has been the new mantra but with a Twist, courtesy being bands like Akshar.

While talking about the band scene in the city, the Akshar Band stands in the front line with top-notch performances in many events in recent times. Akshar is known for their Rock covers and renditions of Tollywood and Bollywood numbers. Their addition of the rock twist to the regular songs has proven to be a hit among the club goers. Week on week, with each performance the band’s fan base keeps on increasing.

After experiencing a high energy performance by Akshar band in a popular club, we interacted with the band members and a few of their audience. There is a mix of full-time musicians and passionate techies in the band. The band was formed in the year 2012, from then on the band is blending together a wide range of genres, picking old to latest Telugu and Hindi songs. They keep experimenting with Rock, Reggae, Hard Rock, Rock Reggae Blues and FusionRock.

They have performed in almost all the renowned pubs and clubs in and around Hyderabad. The audience who fell head over heels with their performances are making it a point to refer or hire the band for their private parties in various cities in both the Telugu states, leaving the band busy all through the week, but weekends are where the band will be the busiest juggling between the clubs, college events and private parties. Akshar has great craze and fan base across colleges.

Of colleges, they have performed in HCU, CMR group of institutions, GITAMS Hyderabad, GoaInstitute of Management etc., Even the audio releases and Pre-release events of Telugu movies had Akshar performing. They have recently performed in theFalaknuma Das Pre-release event. Akshar is just back from a tiny vacation in the City of Destiny, Visakhapatnam having performed in the Flea market and a fest called ‘Youth Festa’. They are now in plans of going international and are prepping to release their own compositions. Their set starts with a melodious Violin intro and they continue to perform 90’s favourites like Sakhiya, Oh Cheliya slowly transcending towards the recent hits. While the audience deeply starts to enjoy and resonate with the band, their rapper cum bassist announces a short break leaving the audience uttering ‘ooos’ and ‘aahs’ as we can clearly feel the audience not wanting the band to stop. Their second set starts with a loud cheer as theViolin and Drum cover of GOT theme starts to play by the band. As the set proceeds we can feel the adrenaline rush as they keep churning high energy numbers one after the other beautifully blending melodies from Illayaraja and AR Rahman’s compositions here and there.

One can catch Akshar Band performing every week in clubs like Chemistry, HyLife Brewing Company, The Moonshine Project and Bird Box regularly. They keep updating about their gigs and performances in their social media handles.

"It is important to keep the audience informed about the whereabouts of the band and to keep interacting with the fans, says the band’s" PR and Social media manager, Madhulika. "They also get most of their enquiries for private events through Social media, she adds"

They also add that the band's unique mix of latest songs and nostalgic old numbers combined with the high energy rock music is what brings them back again and again. Basketball is her true love . It’ll all started when she was 11. Neha studied in Delhi public school, Hyderabad. In DPS, every student in class 5 had to choose a sport to play, without even a glance at another sport, she just chose bb, it just happened... Someone sometimes said that a broken heart can act as a curse or as a blessing which is absolutely true. In the journey of every heart break, either it's friendship or relationship we can't escape from the pain caused by the broken heart. In that phase, at some times, we usually feel that the world is coming to an end. We feel worthless of ourselves. But, our heart was designed to recover from such heart breaking state as early as possible only if we help ourselves by controlling our thought process and focus on all the positive things around us.

In those extreme conditions, we need to believe the fact that we are actually not totally broken until we are dead. Some cracks often develop when we depend entirely on a few people. We feel helpless if someone doesn't show the same affection as we show towards them and so the incompleteness starts developing in our brains. But, these cracks are the weaknesses that improve our life if we accept them and start working on it. Filling these cracks makes us stronger emotionally.

We need to believe the fact that whatever we are feeling, it will eventually pass. We won’t feel sad forever. At some point, we will feel happy again. We won’t feel anxious forever. At some or the other time, we will feel calm again. We don’t have to fight with our feelings or thoughts for having them. We just have to accept them and be good to ourselves. Resisting our emotions and degrading ourselves will only cause us more pain internally, and we don’t deserve that. We deserve our own love, acceptance, and compassion. We need to live a life that we wished to, even if it's not very fruitful, it should make us more happier and more stronger, than a life directly or indirectly controlled by others.

The day we take control over our heart and our happiness and feelings are not dependent on others and not allow anyone to rule over it, we feel stronger, confident and fearless in true way. We should not give previlege to anyone in the world such that their behaviour makes us happy or sad. We alone should have the power.

Instead of thinking about the past, we can focus on not loosing the one who are with us now because life is really long if we will get broken up again and again. If we feel that we have nobody to enjoy with, we need to learn enjoy our loneliness and start trusting on our lives, it will also start reciprocating the same. Trust provides stability so that we can reunite our broken soul again. Life attracts life. Happiness attracts more happiness. We need to imagine great things for ourselves and push ourselves to a great life.

In the past few weeks, several companies across the world have decided to let their employees work from home, owing to the COVID 19 pandemic. In many countries, popular tourist places have been shut down to minimise the risk and schools are also being shut down for the same reason. Going by this, it is likely that a temporary shut down of colleges might also happen soon and if that is the case, then what can be the solution for colleges to continue their functioning despite the college not being open? The answer to this is a Digital Campus, like stuMagz.

Through a Digital Campus platform, the college management can effectively leverage technology to run the college remotely. Classes can be delivered online with students accessing these classes at the specified time or at a convenient time on smartphones and on the computer. An added benefit of these online classes is that students can watch these classes multiple times as they will be available on the digital campus platform and also, students can directly contact teaching faculty about any doubts and queries and get it resolved. Moreover, study material can also be uploaded by the faculty for the convenience of students.

Faculty members can also issue assignments online, with students having to finish them and submit them completely online. This will also enable easy assessment for the faculty and can also help the students keep track of all assignments on a unified platform.

While the ease of having other college procedures like fee payment, examination application and more on a digital platform is apparent, students can also take exams online with platforms like Examity, which enable online proctoring. Yes, you read that right, even examinations can be conducted online with active online proctoring enabled to ensure students take the exam in a right and a proper manner. Examity provides an automated ID verification that validates the identity of the candidates taking the exam. The moment you see the title you might be wondering "To enhance growth think Negative ahh what?"yes we mostly say think positive be positive live positively in our usual conversations since it builds our confidence etc isn't it, so what is my point here what am stressing upon, Is negativity not at all needed in our life, if it is needed till what extent it is needed, To dive into this topic let me before give you a sense of how negativity is being a business, with my voice raising up I say "All insurance companies are making business using negativity", did you recognize this let me explain, what if you were died, what If you met with an accident, what if that and what if this??? Do you feel placing this questions in category of positivity, a big NO right that's where we need negativity I think you understood what I am trying to say it is like predicting an unfavourable condition in prior and preparing ourself for it,Let me provide another wonderful example, you know Walt Disney(Mickey mouse cartoon) right, His office used to have 3 floors, In the 2nd floor people were "dreamers" category, 1st floor "realstic" category and final ground one "critics" category, dreamers will think out of box and hyperimaginative stories and write the script, it will be sent to realistic they will analyze, Is it possible to execute practically? , if yes how much budget will be needed for it? ,finally to critics there job is to say by how many ways this script will flop in the market, after that this results will be taken by realist again and they will draft a final plan, that is how a promising product comes into the market, so finally what I would like to say is think like a dreamer, assess like a realist and take feedback of how it fails from the people because at the end in this world directly or indirectly you are lending your services to the people, In order to earn someone has to pay, In order to pay we have to deliver what is needed to the people, so think in the consumer point of view, Nokia do you remember who didn't take any risk and were very positive about their approach of mobiles but soon a man came and replaced the typing technology of mobiles, so predicting the unfavourable condition is needed my friend!!! Successful people don't make mistakes is wrong, they make every mistake in the process in such away that nothing is left over when they are ready to deliver a product, think about it signing off will be back with some more, heyy heyy sorry forgot to say don't apply this concept in your human relationships it will break hahaha, be very positive in relationships!!! till this extent it is needed now I answered it fine bye..

txt
Holi is popularly known as the Indian "Festival of spring ", "Festival of Colours"& "Festival of Love ". The festival signifies the Victory of good over evil. It signifies the arrival of spring, the end of winter, the blossoming of love, and for many a festive day to meet others , play and laugh, forget and forgive and repair broke relationship. The festival also celebrates the beginning of a good harvest season. It last for a night and a day, starting on the Evening of Purnima which falls around middle of March. The first evening is known as Holika Dahan or Chhoti Holi and following day as Holi, Rangwali Holi, Dhuleti , Dhuladhi or Pagwah. Holi is an ancient Hindu Festival which has become popular with Non - Hindus as well as in many parts of South Asia and other communities outside Asia. Holi celebrations start on the night before Holi with a Holika Dahan where people gather, perform religious rituals in front of the bonfire and pray that their internal evil be destroyed the way Holika, the sister of the demon king Hiranyakashyapu, was killed in the fire. Also in the Braj region of India ,where the Hindu deity Krishna grew up ,the festival is celebrated until Rang Panchmi in commemoration of the divine love of Radha for Krishna. Among other Hindu traditions such as shaivism and shaktism, Celebration of Holi is also linked to Shiva when goddess Parvati wanted to bring back Shiva into the world. Parvati seeks help from the Hindu God of Love called Kamadera. The love God shoots arrows at Shiva, the yogi opens his third eye and burns Kama to ashes. Later when both Kama's wife and his own wife Parvati feel upset . Shiva understands and forgives out of compassion and restores the God of Love. This return of God of love is celebrated on the 40th day after Vasant Panchmi festival as Holi. Because of such various significances Holi is celebrated to enjoy and spread love all over the world.

txt
In a highly commendable move, Kerala government is now implementing a policy that will enable students to earn for 90 days in an academic year while they study. As a part of the Chief Minister's 12-point development programme, the state government will now allow students aged 18-25 to earn through part-time work while they study and the government is currently working on an action plan for this.

Involving government departments, local bodies, private and public enterprises, this scheme will allow students to work part-time through a schedule that does not hamper their studies. The statement by the Department of Labour and Skills, did not specify the the level of study required for students to opt for this but it will come up soon.

Agencies and establishments that implement this program will be allowed to earmark 15% of their expenditure on wages to pay honoraria to these students. stuMagz welcomes this move and hopes all the states in India take up initiatives like this.

Media and Gender and very much related to eachother. Media is playing a central role in shaping the personality of the individual. It is a potential means of influence, control and innovation in society and an important agent in socialisation. The media is instrumental in defining what we think, how we look and our social place and issues in the society. Media is defined as a means of communication that operates on a large scale, reaching and involving virtually everyone in the society to a greater or lesser degree.
