"I am responsible for my suicide. I cannot fulfill papa's dream." This is from suicide letter of a student from Kota.
A common cause for concern is the pressure from parents to do well in the national board examinations, especially for Class XII. As scores in these exams often determine college admissions and subsequent employment opportunities, students aged 16-18 are often subjected to undue pressure at home to succeed. When they don't, suicide becomes a way out. The constant pressures of scoring well, meeting deadlines, increasing workload, ideas of excellence, competition, alienation, lack of space to share or even understand the stresses and despair generated from such pressures are making students walking bundles of nervous wreck ready to break down at any moment.

The motive when students kill themselves is invariably academic pressure - this accounts for 99 per cent suicides in the age group 12-18. National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) counts the number of suicides due to “Failure in Examination” every year. This cause of suicide and the number of deaths resulting from it are significant enough for NCRB to not relegate it to “Other Causes”.

Suicide is the second leading cause of death among teens.

According to Health Ministry, out of every three cases of suicide reported every 15 minutes in India, one is committed by a youth in the age group of 15 to 29. Every 90 minutes a teenager tries to commit suicide in India. Between 2012 and 2014, a total of 22,319 suicides by students were recorded by NCRB.

Higher education institutions today have become hubs of depression and suicides are only a very small and extreme manifestation of it. It isn't the suicides and suicide attempts, but this revelation from a recent survey that surprises everyone, according to it every third person in the age group of 15-19 is looking for help as they are struggling with ‘mental health’ difficulties.

People demanded that government set up a counselling centre in Kota. Succumbing to pressure from people, coaching institutes in Kota came together to start a counselling helpline. But as further reports showed, this helpline too is overburdened, with only two doctors, for over a lakh students studying in the city. And the suicides still continue.

To help not just the students of Kota, but to help all students in distress. Few Samaritans have started a Free Online Counselling Portal.
"A Hopeful Tomorrow (ahopefultomorrow.com)" helps students interact with counselors for free. (And the best thing is that the counselling services can be availed "Anonymously".) Their counselors will help students address their issues in the right way. "A Hopeful Tomorrow" being an online portal, might not help people who are on the verge of suicide. However, their aim is to ensure no student is turning suicidal. They are trying to provide an emotional support system, using which people can cope up with depression and not turn suicidal.
Please share this message until it reaches every student. Together, let's resolve to end student suicides. Lets spread the message.

Depression is 21st century epidemic. Lets kill it, before it kills us. Even the most severe depression is treatable. So, if your depression is keeping you from living the life you want to, don't hesitate to seek help.

Many of us know our Beautiful city Hyderabad for its ethnicity, biryani, Charminar, tank bund and much more. but how many of us know that the city of pearls also contains a horror history? let us check out some unsolved mysteries!

1. The Film City of Hyderabad

A large spread of acres, where lots of film stars shoot and stay for a day or two, was actually built on the war grounds of Nizam. nevertheless, the place being the tourist hub of Hyderabad it holds on as the haunted place in Hyderabad! there were many such unexplainable incidents where the lights fall down, someone knocking the door of the bathroom, and even the strange messages written on the mirror in Urdu, a script used thousand years ago! Unfortunately, there were many incidents which caused harm to the workers over there, to that they were strictly complaining that someone pushed them from behind and found no one around.

2. The Golkonda fort

As per the rumours, the souls of Qutub Shah rulers still roam in the Golconda Fort. Many people have claimed to hear strange sounds from the ancient ruins at night. Some of the tourists have even experienced body-less shadows wandering in the fort. These unknown and unowned shadows come up suddenly shocking up the person who experiences it. There had been instances when some old photographs and pictures were turned upside down by some mischievous ghosts. Utensils have often been seen hurling up against the walls in the Kabootarkhana. The people who tend to stay back at the fort after a deadline of 6:00 PM are most likely to witness these paranormal phenomena. Film crews who usually do not leave the fortress after the dusk and pass the deadline have often heard distressful sounds of people crying out in pain and are a witness to the most terrific, unexplained and strange activities.

Every day, 10 individuals are killed or injured via land mines far and wide. Covered explosives come in a wide range of shapes and sizes, however every one of them are expected to be dangerous. For as far back as 60 years, militaries have been diffusing them indiscriminately on front lines crosswise over Europe, Asia, Africa, and Latin America, abandoning them when their wars proceed onward. But, the 110 million overlooked land mines are still savage, and the regular citizens attempting to modify their lives in clashed territories are the most widely recognized casualties of the gradually rusting traps shrouded underground. Before citizen and government gatherings can detonate the mines, they need to discover them — however chasing for covered explosives is an unsafe, tedious procedure.
That’s where Mine Kafon Drone(MKD) comes into picture claiming 20 times faster than traditional de-mining techniques, and up to 200 times cheaper.

Designer and entrepreneur Massoud Hassani says that his hexcopter comes with three interchangeable arms. The first is used to map the desired area, while the second, a metal detector, is used to detect mines, flagging them with GPS markers for precise geolocation. After this, the drone returns to its operator and swaps its metal detector for a robot arm, which is used to place small detonators the size of tennis balls over the mines' locations. Which are remotely detonated Once the drone is safely out of range, setting off the mine.
The designers of the MKD admit that using a drone for such sensitive work creates its own problems. These include the difficulty of detecting mines that have been buried for decades, with a drone that has to hover around four centimetres above the ground. It can also be tricky to rely on GPS (which has an accuracy of around four meters) for precise geolocation, and the MKD team wants to improve this using triangulation from external antennas.
Even with these challenges though, should the MKD live up to its creators' claims, demining the world's war zones and help, change and save lives.
