Situated in a naturally beautiful location, With the sea on one side and the hills on the other, it's no surprise that the campus is visually appealing. Here's what people had to say about it after being asked about their favorite memories on campus:

"Teresa park has to be the best hangout spot! All our free periods would be spent at the park, under the shade of trees as sunlight filtered through its gaps, making for a delightful environment. From deep conversations to making fun of that one friend, birthday parties, and bitching sessions, that place was where we had the most fun and made the most memories of college life. I've been to a lot of hangout places and had lots of fun on campus, but sitting with my friends at the park beats them all. "- K.K.D.

"The thought of staying far away from your home with others is nerve-racking, especially when one is an introvert. The number of times I felt like running away only to be consumed by the bleakness of a world where my room and bed are not a part of, and I had nowhere to run to were numerous. Only when I found the puppies did I feel like I could take a breath. It was my solace, and I found comfort in the thought that I would always have a place to go to when I felt like recharging. Whenever I am there, it feels like home, and I owe to the dogs my sanity. “The Indoor Stadium is the best and you can’t change my mind. I hang out there with my friends almost all the time. No, we don’t skip classes. Hanging out at the Indoor Stadium was the answer to almost all of that we did every day. Hungry? Let’s go to the stadium. Low? Let’s go to the stadium. Free period? LET’S GO TO THE STADIUM! We played chess, badminton, basketball and table tennis even though we had no idea how to. The guys would spend their time in the gym taking selfies, rarely did they work out. I remember one of our friends, who has left the University now, came to visit us one last day. We all cried together while sitting on the pavement. “There’s a secret place at GITAM, or we like to believe it is our secret. But it’s pretty much popular, just not as a hangout spot. It’s near Teresa Park and it has this slope that looks sort of deadly if you fall down, you might break your jaw. But a few of my friends look at it as a help to enhance rock-climbing skills, which they don’t even have in the first place. It’s adorable looking at them try to climb the slope all the way up and down and falling down and laughing about it. We like to sit there and think about life like philosophers. We’ve had ridiculous conversations, emotional outbursts, heart-break therapy, we-time drama, free-time play, and so much more there. These were just some out of a lot of beautiful memories that my fellow students told me about. Apart from these places, the canteens, Frankie station, Coke Station, and the street food area are the places that have so many nostalgic memories that I couldn’t even fit them in here. KRC (the library), or the pavement in front of KRC is the most frequented hangout spot, apart from being a landmark for students to find each other.

It’s beautiful how people can get so attached to places that they cannot wait to come back even though they’d rather enjoy the comforts of their home.

The Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) in Visakhapatnam has risen to prominence as one of Andhra Pradesh's top educational institutes.

Numerous graduates of this college have gone on to achieve great success in their prospects.

Although GITAM is well-known for its academics, the on-campus student life is also quite enjoyable. Students here have the option to spend quality time in a variety of locations, ranging from several in-house structures to the neighboring nature excursions.

GITAM is "the sanctuary of recollections." Every nook and cranny of this sprawling campus has the imprint of some students' recollections. Classrooms are entertaining and the center of learning, but true college life is experienced in the corridors, roads, parks, and canteens of this campus. These are the kinds of places on the GITAM Vizag campus where memories are built and will live on forever. If it wasn't enough, there's a beach only a few yards away from where you can enjoy some great food and freshness with your friends. However, there are a few areas on campus that are more popular than others when it comes to students building memories at this university. And as GITAM students, you've undoubtedly visited these locations at some point. Perhaps these areas hold some wonderful memories for you.

Therefore, so here are some hangout locations on the GITAM Vizag campus that are dear to all

1) CANTEENS

The University delivers superb, savory, and delectable food. From Bheemas to Blue Bells, the university has a variety of eateries wherein students may socialise with their peers. In case you didn't even realize, canteens are used for more than simply eating. They may also be used to save completed tasks and assignments and also expedite the completion of a date cheaply.

2) OPEN AUDITORIUM

The open auditorium, wedged between the GITAM Institute of Management and Vennela's restaurant, is possibly one of the greatest places on the GITAM Vizag campus to hang out with friends. Students may be seen chattering here at all hours of the day and night. Here is where the Kalakrithi people normally practise their routines. It's one of those locations where a lot of tasks and assignments are laid out ahead of time. However, when the festivals arrive, the open auditorium, or 'Open Audi,' as it is known locally, comes alive. The atmosphere is just electrifying every time a festival takes place here, and it is something that a GITAM Students will never forget.

3) KRC

Whilst digital library is the perfect way to cool off during the summer, the long lines at the lending area sometimes put Rahul Dravid's patience to the test. You'll also have an edge if you know where the strongest WiFi signals are hidden. The Knowledge Resource Centre, or KRC, is the library on the GITAM Vizag campus where students may exchange study materials, receive xeroxes of notes and assignments, and borrow books for an impending test. During the day, even the staircase to KRC's entrance has plenty of student traffic.

4) Kondamma Pan Shop

Any "KPS lad" would be brought to tears if you asked him about his recollections of this site. KPS, a cosy spot near the beach, is known for hosting some of the most informative and sad debates of a GITAMite's college life. It is a popular hangout spot for all college students.

5) Fashion Street

Fashion street is one of the most lively areas on campus since it is the hub of GITAM's highly fashioned people. It's beneath the ICT Chandrahas building on campus, and it houses everything from groceries to coaching centres to even a Subway. Along this hallway, there's also a GUSAC hall, where you'll almost always find some sort of student activity. However, Fashion Street is mostly a gathering place for students to relax, unwind, and catch up with friends after a long day of courses. As a result, it is frequently the busiest hangout location on the GITAM Vizag campus.Mobile phone recharges, photocopying, shopping, and food are all available on "Fashion Street." Students also use this location to finish any outstanding paperwork before heading to the laboratories. By the way, the line is the GUSAC lads' favorite hangout spot.
"}]
Visakhapatnam city of destiny, where students come to achieve their goals.
so today, lets talk about one of the famous colleges one of the top universities of Visakhapatnam that is Gandhi institute of technology and management (GITAM);
we all know Gitam is one of the best universities. Every child dreams to study there and achieve a particular goal; of course, the university is so comprehensive and the sails of systems in the college. Apart from academics, they also have a varied range of clubs.
Gitam kalakrithi is one of the famous clubs of gitam University Vizag, of course, theres no doubt we enjoy a lot taking part in these clubs, but apart from these clubs there is something else which students of course love, everyone has their own story; never-ending stories are built in gitam University.
So there are few hangout places where every student hangouts every day and make multiple memories so that it remains forever
1. KRC
Krc is none other than the knowledge resource center, which in short, we can also say a library is an extensive library with multiple books present in it. you can find various books from each stream large it there for a long time; you can go with your friends have some chit, chat, and then you can start reading its such a peaceful environment their and student eventually like the view from KRC of Gitam and outside Gitam view is speechless because its so calm and peace that you can sit there and read for sun hours and you will never be bored
2. Open auditorium
Cause we know what an auditorium is suitable where lots of events take place, we have an open arena, and the evening begins like from 4:30 pm or 5:00 pm
students come and hang out some bunch of students sit and sing the other starts dancing. Some people come they start having small talks have fun so it. Hence, ike multiple talents coming and meeting together in the evening and enjoying a real vibe as a student, you can experience this every evening in the open auditorium. Of course, we can stay till nine; there is no restriction. Fest of college and other significant events takes place in an empty hall. 3. Baba Bazaar
Baba Bazaar is a place where you will find everything which you want. Its like a mini-mall for Gitam students. We have a business to sit in; students usually sit there for coffee, tea, or snacks. Some students, apart from attending classes, come and sit over. Some backbenchers sit there, complete their last-minute assignment, and submit it.
4. Canteens
Gitam has various canteens (Sri vennela, bluebells ) and many others to discover much, due to covid the college is closed Chinese Indian everything is available there. I have tried every recipe on that menu. If you ask what my favorite thing is, I would probably say tandoori roti Kadai paneer. I know I am also non a vegetarian girl. Still, I dont understand why the taste of that is extraordinary. You know its the authentic vibe. Most day scholars have lunch over these canteens, and food prices are also reasonable.
5. Coke station
Coke station is where you will find north side foods, i.e., Frankie, pizza, milkshakes, and various street foods (panipuri, bhelpuri, chaats). We can sit there and chat for hours.
These were the top 5 places where students usually hang out in GITAM; there are more places in GITAM where students hang out, and they are Gandhi park, inbuild cafeteria in some bloc.ks
I hope you all enjoyed this article and found yourself in it.

txt
By - Lakshith Janga

Have you ever wondered or got a chance to know about the student’s perspective,
who were placed to the top most Mnc’s by our college?
So recently, I got the opportunity to have a talk with one of my senior who got placed in the company named as “Sureify”. So far, he is the only one who got placed in that company securing a package of 9.6 LPA (Lakhs Per Annum) which is as of now the highest in my college. He genuinely was surprised at first but later he was happy that it turned out just as he planned. He mentioned that he
tried in more than 5 companies out of which one was Infosys and expected a minimum of 5 LPA. He shared his feelings and about how his family reacted. Then I got into the main topic, that is about how he managed to get into the company and what were the eligibility criteria. He mentioned that the company had one test in which they tested his thinking capability and how fast one reacts to the given questions. It is also the elimination round, that is, if you mess up in this round you get eliminated and you lose the chance to get into the company. He luckily got it in the first go and mentioned that the people who were selected are interviewed one by one. According to him, his interview went pretty smooth and he gave a good first impression.

The other companies had their own
processes based on the level in which they stand and he also said that he got a call from another company saying he was hired but with a lower package of 4.5 LPA. He obviously chose Sureify because
it had a better working environment with a good salary. He seemed to be dissatisfied about the placements that the college was getting and suggested some points for the students so that they may use it to get better placements.
Improve Your College Profile:
To get an advantage over your competitors, you must provide a superior option. Half of the systems are expected to arrive. You must define goals, use the most recent innovations, and manage relationships; you must keep up with the most recent developments in specific industries around the world.

● Your leaflet design should be professional, and the content should be concise and to
market your previous placement records. If there aren't any, consider a section of the
graduating class who are in prominent positions or even staff members who have worked in the business.

● Student and Staff Scholarly Records: Organizations look for scholarly records from
students and employees.

● Include distinctions that your school has received in your biography of teachers and
instructors who have a strong academic or possibly industry background. If your school's
foundation is something to be proud of, include it on your website and in your marketing materials.
Training:
This is one of the most important aspects of getting a job on campus. You must have students who have been trained. Gone are the days when companies would sign up based solely on a bending test, GD, and individual meeting. That is basic; understudies have the opportunity to do so; but, as a college
or student, you should prepare for the most recent innovations, such as IoT, AI, AR, and Blockchain, which are all on the horizon.
This is one of the most crucial perspectives for improving your position records. Few institutions start their preparation in the final year; nonetheless, we would recommend schools that start in the first year. Subjects related to industry experience should be the focus of your preparation.
Organizations are no longer looking for scholastic excellence, physical fitness, or gathering dialogue. They are, without a doubt, the cornerstone of a meeting, but an ever-increasing number of
businesses are looking at how well your understudies are prepared to function in a field. Your planning should be focused on the real issue and what the company now demands.

For a model, software engineering understudies should focus their preparation on programming
dialects such as Java and Net, the two most well-known programming dialects. Android and ObjectiveC, or, in other words, the ability to construct iPhone applications, are also gaining a lot of traction. Having your students prepared for this will set your college apart from the competition and offer you a distinct advantage.
These were the main points he suggested for the students to follow and also said that this might help us get a better package in a well known company. This was the end of my interview and I personally learned that we should not just focus on one particular company but also try for other
companies and opt for the best and suitable job one prefers for himself/herself.
"}]
Placement is an opportunity to learn and gain new skills. As said by Albert Einstein "in the middle of difficulty lies opportunity". It is also said that best opportunity will only knock your door once and one should not ignore or take it casually thinking that there is another opportunity waiting for you. Any person who dreams for success should first set the Goal. He or she should discuss the goals with his/her superiors and understand the areas of improvement. The more a person expose himself/herself the better assessment he/she can make. He /she needs to lists out whatever he/she learns and undertake which in turn helps in adding new skills and qualification to his/her resume. Some courses will require him/her to review their placement experience. If one writes notes on his/her goals and achievements he/she will be in a good position. He/she shall actively participate in placement activities viz. Aptitude tests, seminars, group discussions, guest lecturers by industrial experts and soft skill workshop..Few tips for placement as below:

1) placement cell - it is must and most important aspect to make it successful. Resources in placement should be dedicated and we'll organized.

2) to improve college profile need to have the following - a)professional website, brochure with concise content b)marketing of previous placement records, academic professors and lecturers profile records, college awards, infrastructure.

3) training - training should focus on subjects related to industry experience with real world problem what current industry requires.

4) networking- as per Adam Smith "it is the single most powerful marketing tactic to accelerate and sustain success for any individual or organization"

5) Professionalism - plays a major role while sending email to the recruitment company. It is also worth defining college code of conduct.

6) hospitality - it should be a memorable experience for the recruitment company.

Finally during interview, the person/student should be able to answer the question "why the company should select him/her. He/she should be confident, with eye to eye contact carrying a smile on his/her face.
"}]
