 A LESSON OF HOPE

1. The dawn of the day has broken.

The news of the birds has spoken.

Dew drops rest on the greens of the earth,

Waiting for the sun to absorb its birth.

Now the living beings have left their incomplete dreams,

To meet the sun, waiting to be seen.

The bright orange light falls on the earth,

Like a weak cotton blanket in winter, which is of no worth.

2. The sun has now turned stronger than before,

Producing its beam brighter than how much it store.

Now the humans have come to know its worth.

The sun has filled us with a warm mirth.

But as the sun moves over our head.

We start to curse, if it was dead.

The heat has increased with a blink of an eye.

And we start entering our homes with a great sigh.

3. Lying on the couch our thoughts gets us to a realization,

That its a mistake to curse the sun for its creation.

With these thoughts we go of to sleep,

Hoping to have a beautiful sunny dream.

Then again we wake up only to look outside,

That the sun is waiting for us to say goodbye.

Again a bright orange light was shown.

It’s a pre-evening gift like a shiny golden throne.

4. The evening has took the position now.

The cold breeze has vowed,

That he would torture us with cold,

Until the dawn comes and gives her warmth as it’s told.

But the moon, during the night asks the cold wind,

To stop torturing us as it has sinned.

He says to the cold wind that he would absorb half of the cold,

As He’s away from the earth and a bit bold.

5. As a result the cold is now tolerable.

The climate now, is a little stable.

The sleepy living beings take their steps towards their beds,

Bidding goodbye to their worldly trends.

Everyone are now asleep,

Hoping they would jump out before the sun rises from the deep.

Well hope is what makes you keep going,

But only hope can’t make you always coping.

6. Even the sun hopes to be always in a particular place,

Where the warmth we feel is of optimum pace.

But still it has to change its position,

So that the day be at a stable station.

Hence hoping isn’t always needed during our trouble.

Sometimes we should let go of our hoping bubble.

Let them burst and release all the worries it kept within.

Don’t you think our machine of hope needs a resting Inn?

7. Allowing yourself to lose hope at a particular stage is a good thing,

But remaining stagnant in that stage is not a zing.

All that makes you struggle in life, is not a negative spot,

But it makes a path that leads to a positive thought.

Just feel the pain but always go with the flow.

You won’t know what may come and go.

Always keep your thoughts hopeful,

But if it exceeds it can be sorrowful.

I guess the poem has exceeded too much,

‘Adios Amigos!’ I’ll keep in touch.
