In heaven...

That morning something had destroyed the usual peace in heaven. All the souls were hurriedly moving here and there creating chaos everywhere. On enquiry, it was discovered that a soul from hyderabad has just arrived in heaven and it was creating all the ruckus. At the word Hyderabad, Sarojini Naidu was also thrilled and rushed to the entrance to greet the soul. The soul began this way..." You know what, Hyderabad stands to be one of the biggest metropolitan cities in India. Large MNCs come to hyderabad to build there headquarters. Hyderabad has also got the worlds most talented people........"

At these words Sarojini Naidu went back to the days when she used to write about the greatness of Hyderabad to stir up patriotism among the people. She was born and brought up in Hyderabad and dedicated all her life to instill freedom struggle among the people of hyderabad. As a soul in heaven she always regretted that she could not see Hyderabad post independence. Even today she felt nostalgic and tears rolled down her eyes. Yamraj said that it was the first time he saw a soul crying in heaven and asked her the reason. She then expressed her desire of visiting hyderabad and within seconds he took her to hyderabad.

In earth,

While she was 100-200 feet or so above the ground she saw goldish lights twinkling in the air. She assumed it was from the fireflies and was delighted. She eagerly glanced all around and put her hand forward to catch hold of them when she came nearer to the ground. But alas, there were none. That goldish light was of the street lights. Though disappointed she was thrilled to have set foot on the earth. While she got lost in her thoughts, a deafening voice disturbed her. She looked around. The air around was so filled with smoke dust that she wondered how the people in the city lived. Since she was soul she would not be effected by the smoke but could definitely percieve it. It was midnight 12 O'clock, but the traffic was at peak.

But something that she liked was that she noticed women travelling alone during the midnight hours which was really a great achievement compared to Sarojini Naidu's time. She moved on still with the hope to see fireflies and that way reached Khairthabad and decided to spend the night there. The next morning sh began her tour through the city.

After travelling two-three kilometres, she reached a waterbody. It seemed to be like a nala with garbage all around. But the place looked as if she had known it for a long time. She noticed a statue at the middle of the nala. When she observed it keenly, she realised it was the Buddha statue and it was the Hussain sagar lake! She was baffled. She stood staring at the lake for a while. The lake which was once considered a source of drinking water, now looked like a nala full of garbage. Unable to tolerate this, Sarojini Naidu decided to go back to heaven. Before leaving, she wrote to the newspaper office this way,

Hyderabadis, Oh dear Hyderabadis!
Why is the sky so smoke-laden?
Where have all the fireflies, koel, maina gone?
Is it not ur duty?
To make a pollution-free city?

Hyderabadis, Oh dear Hyderabadis!
Why is the hussain sagar so dirty?
Don't u have any pity?
Clean it till it reflects its bottom like a mirror,
And make sure no one dares to litter.
This way she wrote in her typical style and flew to heaven.

txt
Chances...and choices...what would we love or actually want in these both?? Asking this I'm telling you to make a choice again..😅 but always we people love choices and hate chances..from accessories to attachments ..from shoes to suits.. everything everything is going on by our choices..even a small kid wants all by choice..we see quotes and videos that always say go by your choice and don't compromise bla..bla and bla....

txt

No!! This is because now we are successful we are the ones talented...

txt

There are several statistics that clearly point out the lack of employable skills among Indian graduates and that has resulted in the massive unemployment that exists in this country. It was midnight and I was fast asleep. I suddenly woke up from a dream and my cat Sophie was awake and purring near my legs. Then I looked around the room and realized that I was home not in Egypt. Since childhood I was always fascinated by the pharaohs of Egypt and the pyramids. I had recurrent dreams of a great curse upon the world and I remember that thinking about it all the time never helped cause I used to get distracted in school. My parents had me tested for schizophrenia at once but the doctor said I was fine and gave me some sleeping pills. My parents were worried about me, cause they think the obsession with Egyptology is effecting daily life. But they don't know that I'm awake now. They are fast asleep in the next room. So I slowly Slid under the covers and scooted over to the desk and powered my laptop on. I had received it as a gift for my sixteenth birthday and it had the stickers of great sphinx, the pyramids, Abu simbel and many more. I wanted to know more about the pharaohs of Alexandria so I goggled it and read about the destruction of the greatest lighthouse of ancient times. The Egyptian way of treating their dead always amazed me. In my dream I was in a pyramids deep catacombs and there were these people in ancient Egyptian tunics talking about the way to build more tombs and about their king Remesis the second. Then suddenly a foot soldier always runs towards me and tells me that the kingdom is under attack and I'm the only one who can stop it by making peace with the enemies. But actually nobody can see me there but the soldier always does and then suddenly he gets stabbed in the back and by his scream I wake up. It's the dream I had since childhood. ............to be continued ...............

txt
India is boasting to be the youngest country in this world with more than 70% of its population aged below 35 years, at the same time India has highest number of people who are unemployed. India is manufacturing highest number of confused professionals like engineers, doctors, Chartered accountants, etc. who are just acquiring qualifications for sake of societal and parental pressure.

Our country is hoping to see that the young students of India will come to its aid to make it a developed country, forgetting the fact that the demographic dividend is a double edge sword. If we harness it properly, it can pull an entire country out of poverty as it happened with Germany, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, etc.

If a country fails to utilise the human resources, the same demographic divided will turn into a frankenstein monster, devouring an entire country.

txt
rich_1571139617027

The million dollar question is how we can solve this problem of demographic explosion. As saying goes ‘idle man’s brain is devils workshop’, we can rephrase this question as ‘How we can engage people so that they don’t remain idle?’.

National Ideation Day is one such idea that would help India to solve problem of unemployment. Thus, keeping people engaged in some work.

How does this National Ideation Day work?

We are proposing Govt of India to declare Oct 15th as National Ideation Day, a day entirely for ideating on the problems of India. We chose Oct 15th because it is birth anniversary of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. The man who lived for the idea of developed India until his last breath. He inspired my life a lot and many of my actions have been because of the way he ignited my mind.

txt
rich_1571139617028

The motto of National Ideation day is to involve students from schools, colleges, and universities to ideate on that particular day to find the solutions to the problems that they want to ideate upon. They can divide problems that they want to solve in different categories like Global, National, regional, local etc. It is prerogative of the respective educational institution to ideate on any of these categories.

txt
rich_1571139617029

What will happen with this National Ideation Day?

1)National Ideation day will help students to imbibe problem solving attitude.

2)In full scale of its implementation, national Ideation day has capacity to involve more than 30 crores of Indian students. The scale of the ideas that we can be produced is simply humongous.

3)Even if one idea becomes a Microsoft, Google or an Amazon, it has potential to create jobs in thousands in number in the future.

4)The thought of ideation itself will create curiosity among the students to see problems in a different way.

5)National Ideation Day will also help to solve the problem of thought poverty because the participants cannot escape from thinking on that day to ideate upon the problems that they have chose to do so.

6)Leadership Crises is one of the problems that National Ideation Day is solving because with only a strong idea a person can inspire a tribe to join his movement to realise that idea.

txt
rich_1571139617030

The fundamental principle of the educational institutions is to provide the students with knowledge and skills which can help him to live economically well in a society. As the former above statement goes, skills play an indispensable role in his/her betterment. The question arises as to how would one develop these skills? The simple answer would be, through participation. Yet, the practical scenario reflects a conspicuous gap in the number of students who took the initiative to participate in the events.

Improvement must supposedly be a consequence of practice and, practice is only possible through voluntary participation. The students who aren’t inclined to be a part of the events which could help and enhance their various skills in diverse ways are risking their welfare on the stands of ignorance. I couldn’t help but notice the large portion of the total students who aren’t driven to learn by themselves. It is where I would think the institution encounters the difficulty dealing with.

As I had the privilege to offer my perspective of the events, I would say that it the voluntary participation of the students is the most important aspect of the whole learning endeavor. The institutions can fill this void by encouraging the students to partake in various activities and providing them with necessary counseling to help them adopt self interest towards learning. As it goes without saying, self discipline is the root cause of a student's welfare.

txt
