My Take

A CRACKED POT

We all have our unique flaws and we people worry about our looks as we all are soo obsessed of being beautiful. God made everything beautiful and the flaws we have are owned even for a reason like in this world, nothing goes to waste. Here is a story of a pot who felt bad about it's flaws.

There was a man who used to deliver water to his master daily. He used to hung the pots tied to the ends of a stick around his neck and supply the water. Among the two pots, one of them was cracked and used to supply only a half portion of the water while the other pot used to supply the whole. This continued for few weeks as the man was not able to afford a new pot to deliver the water and supplied one and half water daily to his master.

The cracked pot once felt bad about it's flaws, as the man wasn't able to get full value for his efforts, and asked the man to excuse him for this. And then, the man said to the pot, “Did you notice that there were flowers only on your side of your path, but not on the other pot’s side? That’s because, I have always known about your flaws, and I took advantage of it. I planted flower seeds on your side of the path, and every day while we walk to my master's home you’ve watered them and I used to make money selling these flowers. It's just because of your flaws about which you felt sorry." The pot then felt happy and never worried about it's flaws.

We may think like the cracked pot that we are inefficient or useless in certain areas of our life, but somehow these flaws can turn out to be a blessing in disguise.
