After cold and brutal winters, people are eager to spend more time outdoors in warmer temperatures. But,when these temperatures peak, then the problem starts. People must remember to be safe in this hot son. This hot climate will effect our body in many ways. However, we can protect ourselves from this summer with these tricks.
1. Avoid Exercising during Peak Hours:
It is ideal to do exercise early in the morning or in the evening. When people perform rigorous activity during midday hours in the hot sun, they risk suffering from heat exhaustion and even a heat stroke. If it is not possible to do exercise in the morning or in the evening it is better to find any indoor options.
2.Stay Hydrated:
During summer the body will lose water through sweat even if you are not exercising. So, drink more and more water and stay hydrated in this hottest climate. This will help you from heat related problems. This is also the solution for dehydration.
3.Find Shading:
The other way to overcome effects of beaming sun is through shading. When you walk outside during peak hours you should aim to walk on streets where there is shading. Furthermore, you can use hat or umbrella to protect yourself when you go out in the hot sun.
4.Apply and Reapply Sunscreen:
Sometimes walking in shades may also effect your skin due to the heat. So, applying and reapplying sunscreen is very important. This protects your skin from harmful ultraviolet rays and can reduce your risk of getting skin cancer. Sunscreen can also delay signs of aging caused by sunlight. So, applying sunscreen once in the morning is not enough. To reduce the skin related issues keep applying the sunscreen.
5.Wear Light Colors and Loose Clothing:
In order to prevent the body from heating up, wearing light colors and looser fitting clothing can help circulate heat more efficiently. These types of clothing do not stick to the body. It helps in circulating fresh air to your body.
