It was hard to look sophisticated with all the plasters around my body from peeling the skin out of fear. It was like as if a part of me wilted down and became like a scar on part of the soul which is still clinging to life. All I could see was darkness whatever I did kicked me back on my face.

With depression, it is like your being stalked by a voice which knows all of your insecurities and knows when to use it exactly against you and sadly its the only voice you can hear. Do you know what the worst part is? Taming that mayhem in you.

It is just like as if your thrown into the fire and asked to embrace it. It might sound tough but trust me it's even worse when a person goes through it because depression is not always about the person who is yelling out for help but it is about the hushed person who is still battling within himself trying to find a way out of the chaos.

Just like most of them, I thought My Story of Depression was better untold until I noticed how extricate opening up to the world feels. To all the bottled up people out there I know in the world which is loaded with judgemental minds it's hard to open up to someone but eventually, life will teach you that, don't you think life is all about taking chances? Remember it is ok to get into crisis and I know you might not even want to get out of bed at that time but Crisis happens to serve the person who wants to use it as a fuel. So, just don't trap yourself within those 4 walls and the anxiety which is hitting you repeatedly.

To all the people out there, try to understand the lethargy, the darkness and the loneliness they are going through. Be there for them when they have come to the other side. It's one of the noblest things you'll ever do.

Let me tell you how it all started. So let’s go back to Dec 2018, I don’t know how many of you know but Omar Al-Bashir was the president of Sudan since 1989 for the past 30 years. But in December, the government started making cuts to bread and fuel like they stopped people for taking money out, they increased prices of food and goods.

This obviously made people living in Sudan angry and it spread to the Capital Khartoum. Initially they started these protests due to those cuts, but eventually, they turned into these protests to remove Bashir and the government for many good reasons. They just wanted a fair civilian government.

Later in April, finally Omar Ali Bashir stepped down from the position. As the Bashir’s government and the political network was so tangled, they needed some time to disassemble everything and start afresh so it was decided that Sudan would have a transitional government for 3 years led by the transitional military council until a new leader is elected.

So ever since then, there has been a 2 month long Massive peaceful sit for demanding for civilian rule until last week. But on Monday the RSF militia, also known as “Janjaweed” violently attacked and shot demonstrators. They even somehow scrapped the 3-year period agreement and said new elections will take place in 9 months and it is believed that this election will simply pave the way for much of old regime to come back into power.

While we are living comfortable lives, there are innocent people being killed. It seems like there isn’t much what we can do to help them but we can donate money to help those people in Sudan in these difficult times.

The hardest thing is to find yourself and the second is being happy and content with what you have found. Figure out what sets you on fire to become who you are.

There are way too many voices telling you who you are and what you should be but my dear! you have been someone else until now but now its time for you to find yourself again because everyone belongs to a different set of values and you don't need to belong to one.

There are different people with different mindsets and you absolutely don't need to satisfy them all because dear! in the end, you gotta be happy and satisfied with who you are and what you do.

Try to develop yourself to find the real you because if you won't, you'll end up making a settlement which is not you. Believe in everything you do and eventually, you'll break through and work towards self-mastery. Stop whining and be competent. Live your life with energy, passion and make a constant effort to become lively.

Henry Ford said when everything seems to be going against you but remember that airplane takes off against the wind and not in the direction of the wind. Believe in this while you strive to find yourself and trust me the buck stops here.
"}]
