1:1983 World Cup Final:

This is the first world cup win for India. Match was between India and West Indies played at the great Lord's Cricket Ground on 25th June 1983. India defended the score 183 against West Indies. Indian bowlers sent all the batsmen to their dressing room within 52 Overs by scoring 140 runs. This is the first and greatest victory in Indian Cricket history.

2.Adelaide Oval Test,2003:

The match was against the most strongest team Australia. We won the match with 28 overs remaining in the hands. This is one of the greatest victories against Australian team and that too in their home ground. That's something special defeating them in their home ground. This was become possible with the hard work of Rahul Dravid. He scored 72 runs and made India win. This is why people call him "The WALL of India".

3.2007 T20 World Cup Final:

The match was against our lovely rivals Pakistan. We didn't lose any match with them in World Cup. India defended the match and won. Dhoni made this possible because of his presence of mind and intelligence,he gave last over to Joginder Sharma to bowl. 13 runs needed in 6 balls and Misbah on strike. He is the best player of Pak but he failed to hit a six and caught in the hands of Sreesanth. 

2011 World Cup Final:

The final match is between India and Sri Lanka where Lankans scored 274 in the limited overs edition. Gambhir and Dhoni took the match onto their shoulders and made us win. Gambhir's 97 runs is the greatest knock ever. Dhoni scored 91 runs in 79 deliveries. He finished off it with a huge six into the crowd. This is the historical and memorable wins of India. And we can't forget the epic commentary by Ravi Shastri and his words describing the win "Dhoni finishes off in style. A magnificent strike into the crowd. India lifts the world cup after 28 years and the party begins in the dressing room".

5. 2 Runs in 3 Balls:

Super10,Group 2, ICC world T20. Cricket lover can't forget this thrilling match against Bangladesh. Raheem of Bangladesh started celebration even before the victory,he thought that he hit the four. Don't do it kids. 2 runs needed form 3 balls and 3 wickets fell in those 3 balls. This is Hardik Pandya's most memorable over. The run out by Dhoni on last ball is epic,he took his glove off and ran like a lion hunting deer. Dhoni's intelligence and presence of mind worked again. 

As I just wanted to write 5 greatest wins,but there are many victories on our side. Natwest series 2002 Final match between India and England is one of them. This is the best victory of India in Lords after 1983 world cup final. Kaif and Yuvraj made this possible. Kaif's 87 runs is his best knocks ever,he made India win in England's home ground. Defeating the sport inventors in their very own area is something special. Ganguly can't stop his emotions and took his shirt off. That is actually a revenge and he is one of the aggressive captains ever of India.
