Yes’s…! I got it; we missed fun and enjoyment this week. So why to make it patchy, we wanna fill that too...We then decided to hangout somewhere. Some of us bunk the classes and some took permission. Finally we are out of college on a hot Saturday afternoon.

We wanna hangout to a place with ambiguence and good food of less cost, so we unanimously choosed Ddestino. It’s our first time to go there. This place is so damn cute…It has an entirely different environment which makes everyone to feel good. They decorated the walls with beautiful paintings can also have a selfie with clown too. Human civilization began when the first tree was cut and will end when the last tree is cut.

The topic reminds me of the time when I visited my cousin's place at Vasant Kunj by a four-wheeler and to some extent, the condition of the environment startled me. To start with, there were literally no trees around us where we could park our car under the shade. Yes, you heard that right. The situation got worse when I looked around only to find sky-high buildings all around but hardly any trees to suffice an ecological balance. When finding a shade becomes so difficult, imagine the havoc that we have continually caused on our earth through pollution, deforestation and the list goes on.

Deforestation is increasing as a global concern. In the present years, deforestation has risen to dangerous levels. This is mainly because most people have no idea what deforestation is. This lack of education has caused many changes in the global economy.

Deforestation is clearing the forests or trees. Many people do not even know that this problem exists, although it may be occurring right in their own neighborhood. The causes and effects of deforestation on the environment are numerous. The reduction of forests disturbs the entire ecological cycle.

Forests are home to several plants and animals. When a forest is cut down, the complete cycle suffers. Forests act as carbon ‘’sinks’’. That is, they help to take in carbon, greenhouse gas and reduce its effect on the atmosphere. Also trees and plants in a forest help to supply an alternative source of fossil fuels. Trees planting is good for urban development. They help with heating and cooling costs to be lowered.

There is evidence from the UN-sponsored Inter-Governmental Panel on climate change(IPCC) that came out in 1980. This organization records the change of climate and has the best of programs working for the control. It is predicted that if our environment keeps releasing emissions as it is doing now, our annual temperature would increase at 0.3 degrees per decade over the next century. This is beyond what the earth has experienced over the past 10,000 years.

To get the normal levels back, trees which are often known as the backbone of survival, are absolutely necessary. Human beings need to understand that they are only cutting trees for their selfish motives which are leading to many ecological problems.

Though it has been almost a decade since I left college, the career choices I made as an entrepreneur, starting a company that caters to colleges and students, it’s as if I never left college and I am happy to see how students have evolved over the years. A major difference that I see right now is how active students are in college as they don’t just stick to academics and instead, focus on a lot of things that build their own profile and their own personality in addition to bringing laurels to their colleges.

I was like that too in college and I write this now as the new academic year just started a week ago and I want to tell students how being heavily involved in college activities teaches you a lot of things that the classroom won’t and how it adds to both personal and professional growth. If I were to name one thing that I got out of being involved in various aspects of campus life, it is how I became completely fearless.

When you are a part of an organising team in college, it puts you in situations that sometimes are completely out of your control and it is entirely up to you whether you will swim or drown. You will learn how to solve problems and more specifically, how to approach a problem to solve it; whether it is something as inconsequential as a package not arriving on time or something big like having to pull something off with minimal funds and resources, getting sponsorships for various events and more. If I hadn’t done this, I don’t think I would have been able to successfully start and run a company.

It also teaches you crucial social skills that help you build your network with the right kind of individuals in addition to giving you crucial connections that last a lifetime, as the people you connect with as you work towards organising a college fest, are the ones who grow along with you and will definitely be useful contacts.

Apart from these, it also teaches you how to handle working in teams, with people with as varied mindsets as it can get. You will learn how to manage different people and how to extract work from them towards a common goal, regardless of the differences that exist between individuals. In short, it teaches you to be a leader.

The new academic year has just started, so take this year as an opportunity to learn and grow. Involve yourself in various activities in your college and start your journey towards becoming a leader.
"}]
Music is life. That’s why even our hearts have beats (lub-dub).The sound of the rain drops, the fluttering of leaves when a wind blows through it are the sounds which makes us feel pleasant. So music permeates nature and nature permeates music. A painter paints pictures on canvas but musicians paint their pictures on silence. Here is the story of my friend Hruthik,a musician, a 3rd year cse student of sri indu who loves to play and enjoy music.(He says it’s a kind of weed to him which makes him high ;))

His journey of music begins with a small gift, a guitar from his uncle and brother. An 8th standard guy who was curious about playing guitar which he recently get started finding ways to learn guitar. He collected some of the sample songs and started learning how to play them through YouTube. He’s brother’s friend who is a guitar teacher helped him learning basics. Slowly slowly he started finding enthusiasm and happiness in the strings of guitar. He used to play guitar in their family get together’s , their applauses’ made him more motivated .He gave himself more challenges and learned to play a wide range of chords.

After that he took a long break for two years when I asked him for the reason he says:”that’s the time of my +11 nd +12 when I’ve gone through the toughest phases of life .I had to go to Narayana jail daily …and u know how much pressure they keep on students...”

Later on when he started listening to the songs of Darshan Raval he became a huge fan of him and got inspired by his life. He started composing small tunes and he move on with the chords of guitar. He says:”My guitar is like my best friend. My guitar can get me through anything. If I can sit down and write an amazing song with my guitar about what’s going on in life, then that’s the greatest therapy for me.”
Now he is teaching a few little kids basic guitar, sharing his knowledge and experience with them.

Coming to his achievements he says:”The applause I heard, the pleasant smiling faces from the people who listened to my music, a little thanks from his students are the greatest achievements I had.”

“MUSIC SPEAKS WHAT CANNOT BE EXPRESSED, SOOTHES THE MIND AND GIVES IT REST,HEALS THE HEART AND MAKES IT WHOLE FLOWS FROM HEAVEN TO THE SOUL “
"}]
