CMR Technical Campus has an assortment of wonderful people. It has Tech geeks who truly love Technology and keep experimenting with new projects, it has lovers of the fine arts who showcase their talent in music and dance during the various events our college conducts, CMRTC has poets and writers who translate ideas into magical words teleporting us to another dimension, it has passionate sportsmen who take any excuse to run to the field to enhance their sport, and my college also has students with big hearts paving their future in the direction of becoming generous humanitarians. But my article today is about one of the many remarkable peers who share the same college as me, and this is how our story began.

Coincidentally, Mahi Harini Tatavarty was the first student I had interacted with in CMRTC. I met her on our orientation day. I was telling my father about how I was really shy and nervous about college, so he randomly decided to walk up to this young- tiny framed-confident girl, who was standing alongside her parents, and he greeted her with a warm hello and ended up having my first conversation for me. He asked her which branch she decided to pursue and she said CSE. My father said “Oh wow, my daughter Chitra is in IT, Okay Chitra bye have fun with your new friend”. I was dumbfounded at that moment and responded with an awkward chuckle and ran along with my father. However, looking back at this, it is funny how my first conversation with my best friend wasn’t even initiated by me, and I spoke barely an average of 5 words. It is perplexing how time unfolds unique friendships.

After a few months of college, Mahi and I ended up joining our college band. I soon discovered that she sings like a nightingale. She was kind and joked with me about our first meeting. We clicked very soon. She helped me perfect my notes during singing; we laughed a lot during practice and just had a ball. Mahi is also very adorable because in this small human exterior lies a fierce friend, a loyal supporter of Pavan Kalyan, a bright student and most importantly an extreme food lover!

Mahi has explored so many cafes and eateries in and around Hyderabad. She even reviews the dishes she has on her Instagram food blog-The Food and Plate Affair. Her page has about 2000 followers and the way she handles the aesthetics is applause worthy. Mahi is also the social media head of our college club Luminos. During this pandemic she continues to entertain her followers with fun home recipes of their relished restaurant meals.

All in all Mahi is the whole package, and even after 2 years with her I still can’t figure out how she stays so skinny with her love for food. Mahi Harini inspires me and everyone she meets. And the best part is I get to keep her forever!

"}]
Life in an old age home is considerably monotonous. It barely provides a reason for excitement to its residents. Those living in old-age homes are often surrounded by people who are in similar circumstances; still, they always feel alienated. Occupants of an old age home are engulfed in the thoughts of their children and family members. This further makes them feel dejected.

To make them feel better and happy, Street Cause team of CMRIT observed that personal hygiene is most important of all the issues with elderly person, as the hygienic person will probably not get ill and thus other miseries.

Thus, Street Cause team of CMRIT decided to help them by “Renovation of Washrooms”, the team invested 12 thousand rupees and 30 elderly people of Ekashila Old Age Home were benefited. This Old Age home is located at Hunter road of Warangal.

The Street Cause team explains that, “As we grow older, our immune system stops being strong like before. Due to this, the human body cannot ward of infections, and fight germs and viruses like it did when we were young. Not being hygienic could increase the risk of infection and cause you to fall ill easily. So our intention was to make our golden aged grandparents stay healthy and happy”.

So, it’s our responsibility to take care of them. They are the person who nurtured us to bloom like a flower. We should never forget the truth that it is because of them we are enjoying our life on this planet. Now it’s our turn to thanks them by caring them like a child and give respect to them like a God. They are the only person who feels happy when we get success.

INTRODUCTION Issues like untouchability and casteism are still common in rural areas. The reason for this is the deep rooted traditions of casteism. Not just adults, even children are subjected to this form of discrimination. Be it in the community, schools or even the playground, many children face humiliation because of caste discrimination. There have been instances where during the mid-day Meals served in schools, children of schedule castes have been asked to sit separately and eat; scheduled caste girls have been asked to clean the school toilets; and teachers have asked children belonging to the minority community to sit right at the back in class.

what the laws says about caste discrimination

According to article 14 of the Indian constitution, the state shall not deny equality to any person before the law or the equal protection of the laws within the territory of India. Article 15 prohibits the state from discriminating any citizen on ground of any religion, race, caste, sex, place of birth or any of them.

Article 17 states that untouchability is abolished and its practice in any form is forbidden. The ‘Protection of Civil Rights Act, 1955’ was the first Indian law that came into force to provide punishment for the preaching and practice of ‘Untouchability’ and for any mater connected with it. In 1989, the Government of India enacted ‘the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act’, which recognised various kinds of acts of violence and discrimination inflicted upon the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes by non-scheduled castes and non-scheduled tribes as punishable offences. It also provides for provision of special courts at the district level to try the offences under this Act. While the Indian government has enacted several laws formalised within the constitution such as articles 12 to 35 which are not only "dedicated to protecting the individual rights" but also help abolish the caste system. The system's presence is one yet to be eliminated amongst certain sectors in India primarily those in the more rural parts of India. This prevalence is particularly due to the fact that "society itself is structured to keep this tradition going" and what this entails is that their are psychological barriers that have been implemented through decades of the system's presence and integration in society, thus making it difficult to get rid of such a rigid system.
DISCRIMINATION
The Dalits or Untouchables face the highest form of discriminations by the other groups within the Caste System. The primary areas of which they are discriminated are education, work, and marriage, with marriage being the most notorious of the three.

EDUCATION AND WORK

Education has always played a crucial role in bettering one's circumstances, and while the caste system initially disabled Untouchables to acquire a formal education, the government has issued reserve systems to ensure that certain quotes of students are from the Dalits class. Even with such a progressive movement, there have been repercussions particularly from the higher classes, many of which "felt that the system was not meritocratic, and provided an unjust advantage to the low caste members."This not only translated towards protests from the upper caste, but also discrimination towards the Untouchables in the work force to the point that it has "[conferred] almost a disadvantage bettering the chances of neither salaried work nor self-employment" due to upper class higher restrictions" while [also] increasing their likelihood of opting out of the labor force," because of their ability to receive an education thus deeming them overqualified for such positions.

what is the best way to remove caste discrimination in india 1.Remove all sections that tell you to fill your caste in jobs and college applications.
2.Declare that caste system was prevalent a thousand years ago and exhibiting discrimination on the basis of caste is illegal and would amount to prosecution if convicted after an inquiry and a legal trial. In the 1700s as Great Britain was ramping up it’s ‘manufacturing, realized it was sitting on a seemingly endless supply of cheap energy that burned better than trees: coal.

Coal is a game-changer, kicking off a new age called the industrial revolution: The transition included going from hand production methods to machines, new chemical manufacturing, and iron production processes, the increasing use of steam power and water power, the development of machine tools, and the rise of the mechanized factory system. Results for Immense increase in harmful gases in the Atmosphere.

Of course, countries shifted the representation of developing to developed=[country].
In order to increase the economy rate they just balanced Nature biosphere with Budget.

But China is also the largest country in the world. If we consider the carbon footprint per person in the emission of co2 is considerably less than the United States.

Now the number of industries, power factories, and scalable machinery set up in the developed countries is significantly helping them to maintain the luxury lives and Economy.

But what about the developing countries do they demand luxury lives or a sustained economy? How is climate change-related?
Is it an indicator of development?

Let me explain, Climate is changing because of greenhouse gases piling up in the atmosphere. Coal, crude oil, and natural gas, the more we use fossil fuels the more greenhouse gases we pour into the sky.

Consuming a lot and emitting most of the greenhouse gases developed countries they've bring coal and gas on a massive scale. and they still use the most energy per capita. The thing is developing countries don't want to put their economies on pause while they invest in low emissions energy sources that may cost more.

The impact of climate change is more harshly felt in many developing countries because they're more vulnerable moreover they tend to be in the regions where droughts and floods are already prevalent and will be made worse, by climate change.
Because they are the least prepared. Water change, the temperature change can seriously affect agricultural and food security courses, this will further affect the likelihood and health.

“Branding” is one among those buzzwords that are used so often, its meaning has become diluted. People like to mention branding because it’s a moving target and incredibly hard to try to well. Great branding reflects the company’s values, product or service, vibe, and attitude. Landing thereon perfect projection of your business is difficult to realize.

If companies were superheroes, branding would be their names and iconic logos. Each symbolizes its hero and tells a story even before you learn the whole origin tale. A hero's name -- Batman, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Captain America -- is the first thing you learn. These call signs epitomize heroic identities, clueing you in on what the crusaders do and how they do it. Each symbol is immediately recognizable. Paired with the superhero's name, it conveys much about the character’s tone, background, and style.

We all have heard about climate change, global warming, save the earth etc since we started going to school. But despite learning from textbooks and scoring marks, have we ever tried to know the importance of climate change?

So, what is climate crisis?

Climate crisis, in simple words means, the climate change that occurs due to global warming.

Many scientists and climatologist have made assumptions of how drastic the climate changes would be due to human exploitation of nature.

We must understand that an environmental balance which when once exploited, would lead to drastic changes in the climate, leading to climate crisis.

We might shake our head in negligence of the fact that, climate will never be affected by the exploitation of the environment resources like cutting down forests, building large industries, or mining.

But the truth is, it does affect!

Impact of climate change due to variations in temperature

The rise of temperature has a huge impact on the climate and some of the challenges we face are:

1) Harmful gases

One of the main reasons which affects the climate is due to smoke, and emissions coming from automobiles, factories, industries etc. These high amount of gases and emissions are of carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide which makes the air impure and difficult to breathe.

The most recent case was the smog in Delhi. Considering overpopulation and lack of political priority, the reasons for this to happen was, dust from construction sites, burning garbage, industrial activities etc. People were finding very difficult to breathe for many days.

Can we ever live in a world without oxygen?

No, definitely not.

It is shocking on how much forests we have destroyed. Trees and plants are one of the sources of clean air and reasons for keeping earth cool Destroying them, not only ruins the habitat, but also causes a temperature rise.

2)Droughts

Droughts are one of the severe climate changes we experience due to excessive shortage of water. The reason for this phenomena to occur is due to the rise of temperature. High temperatures lead to more precipitations which lead to even faster evaporation, hence causing drought.

Over the years, droughts are experienced all over the world more and more frequently.

3)Wild fires occurring constantly

Temperature, again plays a very important role in wild fires which are constantly occurring nowadays.

The recent wild forest fires of Siberia in July 2019 is one of the examples of the drastic changes in the climate. This month was marked as the hottest spring ever recorded. Scientists claim the reasons for this, is the rise in temperature. On may 2020, Siberia experienced forest fires greater than that of the previous year which prolonged for 5 weeks and their occurrences are becoming more frequent.

Scientists have stated that this was the first time, the temperature of this country has rose from 31 to 38 degree Celsius, which has never been experienced before.

4)Shifting rainfall patterns

Over many years there has been a vast change in the pattern of rainfall all over the world. On average, some parts of the world is already getting more precipitation now than it did 100 years ago whereas some countries, the amount of rainfall has become very less.

Recently, Karnataka has been experiencing severe droughts due to abundance of rainfall. Karnataka, the southern part of India, one of the most fertile lands is suffering from this crisis. This definitely marks a change in the climate pattern.

5)Glacier and snow melting

We know that the rise in temperatures, causes the glaciers to melt. This leads to an increase in sea level.

Recent reports state that, by 2050, the sea levels will rise 30 cms and 69 cms by 2100.

6)Global warming

We know that global warming is caused due to the effect of green house gases. Greenhouse gases are gases which redirect the absorbed gases to the earth's surface.

Well, the rise in temperature is the main reason for this occurrence. The above mentioned factors are some o the changes taking place. We humans, also play a large part in this process due to the extensive exploitation of natures resources.

So folks, how are we facing these problems today?

Has any of the patterns changed?

The present situation…..

Climate and the pandemic

We are in the midst of the deadly COVID-19 pandemic that has conquered all over the world. As this deadly virus has been spreading through contact, many of the countries had to initiate complete lock down in order to avoid the community spread.

It has been evident to say that, due to the lock down, the roads are literally empty, there are no working factories or any kind of exploitation of resources. Since the pollutions have reduced over the past few months, the air in cities has become cleaner than ever.

Recently, a large flock of flamingos visited in the lakes of Mumbai. This has not only happened in India but all over the world. Animals of all kind are seen roaming around due to the absence of human activities and exploitation.

From this we can say that, we all are the reason for these changes and looking over the past few months, the amount of pollution has reduced intensely.

How are these changes affecting us?

Climate changes affects everything. It affects our health, our environment, food etc.

For example, recent reports states that, there is a huge declining of rice in India due to the extreme climate changes. Especially, since the rainfall patterns have changed widely.

Concerning about our health, the pollution from automobiles and factories has caused many lung problems like bronchitis, asthma etc also these defects are further carried on to the next generation.

How can we bring a change in the climate?

Since we are one of the contributors of the climate change, we definitely can make it a better one too.

Every decision doesn't always have to be started by the government. A small change in the world can be made by each individual. Some of the measures can be done from hoe itself like:

• Setting up a small garden in your own balcony, backyard or terrace. Your essential vegetables can be grown from your home itself.

• Storing rainwater for household purposes

• Using solar energy to power up our households

• Using bicycles instead of any automobiles.

• Using CFL than CFC bulbs.

These are just some of the examples of what we can do at home.
In fact since technology has evolving, we have found so many efficient ways that reduce pollution. Like the car which only runs on water was invented by Japanese technology. Although it has some effects which cannot be used in the long run.

I am confident that, by technology, we will definitely find an efficient solution for the changes happening around.

So readers, One day, technology might be able to handle the problems. But it is also our responsibility to take care of our planet or else we will repent by the forces of nature.

Peace.✌✌

Recently the Movement for Black lives was very trending and we all have seen people posting about it on various social media platforms, raising their voice in support of them. Well, it has been a nice act to support and take stand for black community people but why do restrict our voices just for them or Do only black lives Matter? instead, I would say ALL LIVES MATTER – not only yours or mine but of everyone present out there. it’s really important to understand by each of us that this life is a gift to all of us and we must ensure that we live every bit of it completely. When I talk about that every life matters, I count on every one of us on this planet irrespective of our caste, color, religion, sex, and age. We all have heard and have an idea about racism. It’s that ideal situation where discrimination takes place based on certain factors like caste, especially the color of an individual, their religion, or from the community group they belong to. We have also seen sexual discrimination and many of us are been victimized being a woman at workplaces and offices by sexual discrimination, where we have been made felt that we are less capable and don’t deserve to look for growth opportunities in the carrier we pursue. We also know that how society behaves with transgender, many of us not also make an effort to think about the pain those people go through by our severe discrimination, Stigma, and Systematic Inequality. The LGBTQ community still faces considerable stigma based on over a century of being characterized as mentally ill, socially deviant, and sexually predatory. Well, these are the major issues of discrimination we have talked about but what about the discrimination we face in our daily lives at school, colleges, and even in the family. We all have somewhere seen and maybe felt that how people take birth of a boy differently from a birth of a girl, we have also seen if not “in reality “but in tv shows that how a boy is treated differently and nicely than a girl at home. So why there are so much difference and discrimination is present?I think it’s all because it’s been a trend to discriminate for ages, and that’s why I guess Dr. B.R. Ambedkar inspired the Dalit Buddhist movement and campaigned against social discrimination towards the untouchables, to bring unity and equality among people in the country. He was successful in getting right for untouchable but yet fails to eradicate this system of racism from its roots. Therefore, if we all understand that ALL LIVES MATTER, there would be no need for a movement or any action to be taken against this whereas only understanding the fact and letting others live their life freely would serve the purpose and then one day there would be no place for racism and inequality in the world and we would see all lives living happily and freely.
"}]
Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises sector has emerged as a highly
vibrant and dynamic sector of the Indian economy over the last five decades.
Msme not only play crucial role in providing large employment Opportunities at
comparatively lower capital cost than large industries but also help in
industrialization of rural and Backward areas, thereby, reducing regional imbalances,
assuring more equitable distribution of national income and Wealth. Msme are
complementary to large industries as ancillary units and this sector contributes
enormously to the Socio economic development of the country. In India, the
enterprises have been classified broadly into two categories, firstly Manufacturing and secondly Those engaged in providing or rendering of services.
Both categories of enterprises have been further classified into micro, small and
medium enterprises based on their Investment in plant and machinery for
manufacturing enterprises or on equipments in case of enterprises providing or
Rendering services. Earlier, the Msme were defined on the basis of investments put in, now the
revised definitions will also include turnover of the company. Finance minster
nirmala Sitharaman also declared that there will be no more distinction between
Manufacturing and Service Msme. Earlier, the criteria for manufacturing units
and service units were different. Now those distinctions between Manufacturing and
Service Msme are being removed. They will all be defined similarly. The definition being changed is
done in the favour of Msme. There has always been this fear, among successful
Msme also, that if they outgrow the size of what has been defined as an Msme,
they will lose their entitled benefits. This is why Msme like to remain within the
definition rather than grow. With the revised definitions of Msme, they will not
have to worry about growing their size and can still avail benefits. Three key parameters that are vital for the success of Msme include financial
stability, availability of skilled labour in Msme clusters, and market
competitiveness of their products to achieve import substitution as well as exports. While government measures such as collateral free loans have paved a path for
ensuring the financial stability of Msme, immediate relief either from the public
sector or the private sector will also be needed to ensure the survival of such
enterprises. This is a big challenge in terms of availability of skilled labour to the
Msme in and around these urban centres. Ensuring the availability of skilled
labour by either skilling local workforce or making the conditions lucrative for the
migrant labour to come back is essential for the growth of Msme.
Carefully planned interventions with a robust implementation plan can ensure the
revival and strengthening of the sector, and will also in the process restart the
economic engine in a big way,With a self reliant India vision, it is highly important to improve the
competitiveness of Msme through an inclusive market oriented strategy. There
are five key areas that need stronger focus. There is a need to improve the capability
of Indian Msme to supply quality products, especially with new norms of
operations being introduced due to Covid. Maintaining social distancing, running
on reduced capacity, would further aggravate the situation for the cash starved
Msme. To remain relevant in the market, Msme need to be adaptable with
changing market and variable demand scenario. Ensuring the capacity and
availability of raw materials to Msme is also crucial. The disruption in global
logistics has broken the chain for some key raw materials. Low working capital
availability also makes it difficult for Msme to restore raw material supply. The
impact of Covid on business operations will require innovative methods to reduce
cost. Automation is essential in some areas for implementing distancing and also for
quality control. Msme could be introduced to low cost automation techniques,
which work in tandem with the human workforce. Finally, branding and advocacy
will also be needed to leverage the positive connotations associated with certain
Indian products and assess negative connotations that can be removed. This crisis is
a turning point for the Msme and they will either flourish or perish based on the
support provided and the actions taken by the companies themselves.

txt
