From the born day, we are tied with everyone’s dream. It’s my dream to make my son an engineer; it’s my dream to make my daughter a pilot or this and that.

Not even from the born day, even before our birth people start dreaming about our career, the path that they want us to set. But do they forget that we too have our own dreams? Don’t we have our way set on which we want to move?

 After 10th we are given option to select one out of various streams. But almost 90% would select based on their parents sayings or any guide’s instructions. While some of us select just for the society. If you score well you get admission in science stream, but even getting good grades if you move to any other stream you think that people would think that I am not intelligent or why I have not selected science and what not? Are we living for others??

 Again we follow the blind path of everyone after 12th before getting admitted to college. Our parents want that my child should be at a very high position and they make us admitted to engineering colleges or medical colleges. But have they asked us once what we have interest in? When it comes about our own interest, people think it as silly. If you are interested in photography or modelling or any such fields, will your parents allow you to move forward in such field leaving your college? 95% parents won’t. And as a result they get regretted in the end. So why not to think before?

 Not only in the case of studies, each and everywhere you see around. Almost all decision of your life would be in hands of others. It has become a compulsion which in fact is not true. The only responsible are us. We haven’t let ourselves step forward that people enter in our life and make decisions by their own.

 Don’t let anyone control the decisions of your life, it’s you and your life.
