Germany,a European country,  which is highly industrialized and one of the most educated countries in the world.It is also known for its billionaires count and economy.In such a country we usually think that its people lead a lavish life.But the answer is no,because they are doing something which is high standing and most influential. 

Ratan Tata ,as we know is an Indian industrialist,investor,philanthropist and former chairman of Tata group. On one fine trip,Mr.Tata along with his team had arrived at Hamburg. They walked into the restaurant and noticed that most of the tables were empty except the ones where two young couples were having a meal .On looking at them Mr.Tata had wondered how simple the meal is with two dishes and two cans of beer. 

There were also some other old ladies  on an another table.When a dish is served,the waiter would distribute the food for them and they had not even left a morsel of food on their plates.

Mr.Tata and his team were hungry ,so one of their local colleagues had ordered more food for them.When they left after completing ,there was still about one-thirds of food unconsumed on the table.  When they were leaving the restaurant,the old ladies who were present there spoke to the team and it is clearly conveyed that they were unhappy about the group wasting so much food. One of their colleagues had answered sternly ," We paid for our food, it is none of your business how much we had left behind." The old ladies were furious and called someone and after a while a man from social security organization had come and issued the team a 50 Euro fine.

The officer told in stern voice " Order how  much you can consume,Money is yours but resources belongs to the society .There are many others in the world who are facing shortage of resources"

Such a provoking one it is !

 The mindset and attitude of the people of one of the most richest countries had put us  really into shame and we indians especially have to reflect on this. We are from country which is not very much rich in terms of resources and we have to be extremely careful about consuming resources.But it is disheartening to know that food wastage costs about Rs.1 lakh crore every year

Its high time we take this issue very seriously and terminate wastage of food and spread it to every one.It will help in presenting a precious gift ( earth with resources)to the future generations.
